What an excellent lunch!! I came across this restaurant a few days ago and suggested it for lunch. My bf had the Doc Haywood Dagwood, and I had the Pittsburg steak sandwich. Both were incredible and huge. The service was unbelievable. The portion of fries was wonderful and they even had green chili as a side! That is rare in Oklahoma. Ambience is always great. Food is usually pretty good, but today it was just passable. The service was lousy for the second time in a row. We ordered drinks (soda) at the beginning of the meal, and my husband requested a lemon with his. Our server brought back our drinks but forgot the lemon. My husband asked for a lemon again, the server took our order and then he never came to our table again. Another server brought our food and saw that our drinks were gone. She asked what we were drinking, we told her, and we never got them. So we had nothing to drink with our meal. Waitstaff were very friendly but you could tell they were busy. We started with the chicken enchilada dip with housemade tortilla chips. Queso, shredded chicken, fresh pico de gaillo and avocado on top of red chili sauce soaked tortillas. On the menu it's described as an enchilada in a bowl. Very good! Juicy chicken with tangy green enchilada sauce and soooooo cheesy! He had the spicy shrimp tacos (which he said were not that spicy) and I had the Prime Rib sliders with tater tots (so many tots) the sliders were delicious but since I ordered them without onions kinda felt like a kids meal- a very delicious kids meal. I have been here a few times now so I believe I can genuinely give a solid review of my experiences. The food has always been consistent. I have had the southern fish and chips (catfish was nicely flavored), a couple of their burgers and sandwiches. I have only had one thing I wasn't too impressed with a burger) but everything else was tasty. Now, the service is hit and miss. Sometimes we get great friendly service and other times we get someone who acts like they didn't want to come into work that day. The service is the only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars. If I could give 3.5 I would. I do enjoy the fact that there is a lot of outdoor seating. You can chill with your favorite cocktail and mingle with friends, or you can hang out and watch your favorite ball game. I had the Bourbon Bacon Burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was pale and if it hadn't been for the bourbon sauce to spice it up a bit it was pure junk food. Five Guys serves a better burger!! The sweet potato fries were served cold. I couldn't mentioned it because the waitress never returned other than to slap the check on the table. The waitress (1st Shift L) came to my table three times for about less than 20 seconds. First to bring water, second time to take order, third time to bring check. No, "how's everything, can I get you something else, or a simple thank you." I should've walked out when no one greeted me when I first walked it. After walking around someone came from the kitchen saying I could sit anywhere. In Japan it's offensive to tip because they don't expect tips for their wonderful customer service. In the U.S. tips are expected despite the poor customer service even leaving tip jars at coffee/ice cream shops. Really? Well, no one gets a tip from me for the careless customer service. Needless to say, I did not tip the waitress but rather left a note on the receipt saying why. I do not recommend this restaurant based on quality of food and poor customer service. You walk in and apparently seat yourself (there's no sign and no waitresses or hosts to ask) then customers will yell "seat yourself" and you get to figure out which table is clean, the one with a wet top or the one with all the plates and silverware. It took about 12 minutes for a waitress to actually take our order. The cups are cool though, and you get to take them with you so that's a plus. It did take about 20 minutes to get the food we ordered (Cuban sandwich and a turkey pretzel sandwich) so don't come if you're already hungry, because you will get hangry. My turkey pretzel was delicious, fries were less than great. My bf's Cubano was dry, but not horrible. Probably wouldn't come back to this place unless someone really wanted to go. read more

The service was excellent! The cocktail menu was creative and seasonally current. We tried pretzels and cheese appetizer - I would give it a 3/5 only because the cheese was not very warm. At our table, we had the thunder burger, the prime rib sliders, and the soup and salad. My guys loved that they could choose dipping sauces for their fries, which were hot, crispy, and perfect!
