    Egg and cheese bagel
    Arisha J.

Stopped in for breakfast on an early Saturday morning for the first time. it's a cute little family owned shop with some fun decor on the walls, it had a homey vibe and the owner was very pleasant. We got everything bagels (one with scallion cream cheese and one with egg and cheese) and they had a good amount of flavor to them. The outside structure had a good crunch to it although the inside was a little cakier Vs the chewy texture I prefer. Still, good experience and a solid local stop for a quick breakfast!

I've one been here once and the food was delicious (roast beef sandwich). I asked the cook the make the sandwich anyway he wanted and he didn't disappoint. Looking forward to going back. Some others commented on how dirty this place is. It agree it was a little dirty but most places with little staff are. The quality of the food was amazing.

I should've walked out when I saw how dirty it looked behind the counter. Second clue to leave, was when the man walked out from the back with a filthy hoodie on. Only bagels that looked fresh were plain, so I asked for it toasted with cream cheese. He put the bagel in the toaster for 30 seconds before adding the cream cheese. Bagel was still cold. I told him this and he said but it was in the toaster. At this point, I just want to pay and leave. Thank God I opened it up before eating it. There was paper or onion skin or something stuck in the cream cheese. Needless to say, I threw it away and went next door to Wawa.

First time in this bagel shop. Small little quaint place. I was greeted by a sweet and vibrant woman. I glanced around and noticed a few tables and chairs spread out decently. A beverage station from one end to the other for all your drinking needs. Hot and cold. Extensive but simple menu. This place was very clean and organized. I went for a simple bagel with cream cheese and lox..had a hankering. Prices are reasonable and affordable. Had a wonderful conversation with the woman behind the counter while she was making my deliciousness. Small selection of flavored bagels but imo all the good flavors. A selection of flavored cream cheese and such. Breakfast sandwiches, burgers, wraps, etc. Definitely going to be on my list. Since I refuse to go to the other one in the other strip mall..yucky..bagel was delcious, onion bagel, scallion cream cheese and lox. Altho I did wish they had jalapeno cream cheese, but next I will try the veggie cream cheese. What a pleasant experience. Very fresh also. Did not make me sick which Is a super bonus. So I will make note of this place and definitely be back to try other yummies. So if your in the area definitely try Dee's bagels. Located in apple plaza off applegarth road in monroe.

this place is a bit far but since i was in the area and was looking for a new bagel place, i decided to try it. I got an everything bagel with veg cream cheese $3.50. Overall, it was a chewy bagel with tender crumb. I liked the flavor overall, not too sweet nor too salty. Crust was peetzel like. veg cream cheese tasted unique and home made.

Bagels are like pizza in the Tri state area, always good rarely bad or great. This place has great bagels

Horrible experience as there was something wrong with everything I ordered: For starters my mom found a few hairs in the eggs of her sandwich. The hash browns were too greasy as was the pork roll and I was given a sesame seed roll which was stale when when I ordered a poppy seed roll. I don't what understand what happened as the food used to be good and this was the third and last time I had problems with food I ordered from Dee's.

$5.99 lunch? ? Think again! ! $9.10 is really what I paid, no chips.

Dee's is a rare find. The food is made to order at breakfast and the staff is friendly. The coffee was great and the meal was inexpensive.

Friendly ma and pa business. I like this place better than other bagel businesses in the area.

That said, I'm disappointed with the way the shop is being managed. I'm not sure if the gentleman I encountered was the manager or the owner, but I've been there twice now and both times there were issues with overcharging. The first time, I noticed it but chose not to say anything. This past weekend, another customer spoke up after being charged for more bagels than he actually ordered and received. The gentleman handling the situation was extremely rude, and when it was proven they were wrong, he simply threw the money back onto the counter. It was very unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness. Please continue making your bagels the way you do because they're excellent, but customer service and professionalism matter too. There are plenty of bagel shops around, and people want to feel respected when they walk into a business.

The bagels have that perfect balance of chew and softness, and the sandwiches are stacked with fresh ingredients that actually taste like someone cared. Their hoagies are surprisingly impressive too...well‑built, flavorful, and satisfying without being overly heavy. Everything is always fresh, and while the prices run a bit high, the quality backs it up. I've never had a bad breakfast here, and the consistency keeps me coming back!

Service was pretty fast, but what I thought made it really great was that at some point, one of the guys who seemed to be on owner came out to talk to us for a little bit, even though his English was relatively limited, and he agreed to take a picture of all of us. That was pretty cool of him. Overall, charming little no-frills coffee and breakfast shop that you just order at the counter and can either sit down and enjoy your meal or just get going.

First, I called ahead to make sure they weren't sold out. Carmen was super helpful and she reserved the last 4 bagels for me! I drove over and sure enough, the bagels were waiting for me. Carmen also told me that a new batch of Knicks bagels was going to be ready in 3 minutes, so I waited and bought a dozen. While the bagels were finishing their last few minutes of baking, I shared the Knicks fan love and gave the staff some Knicks friendship bracelets to spread the Knicks joy! They loved it, and I loved my bagels! Thanks Bagel Bazaar for all your help. The bagels also tasted mighty good and they're huge and puffy/fluffy! GO KNICKS! I opted to take my order to-go, but there are plenty of tabels to enjoy your food inside. The only negative was that the bagels were $3 each. Understandable because they take more effort to prepare. How many times have the Knicks been in the NBA Finals? So I went for it.
