I had been thinking about getting my eyebrows microbladed for a while, but I was always scared. Finally a friend referred me to Dodonna. Omgosh I love not having to do my brows everyday even when they went through the peeling stage they looked amazing. I used to wear a full face of makeup everyday but since getting my brows done I'm much more confident and barely wear any makeup. I came in with how I usually do my brows then she drew ones that were similar but fit my face better with her line techniques. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time and even checked up on me a couple days after. She will make your bride-to-be life easier and make you look astonishing on your wedding day. I had her as my bridal makeup artist for my wedding in November 2019 and she really did an awesome job. She made me looks like a better version of me ( she still keep my personality with her makeups instead of changing my look to someone else). She delivered exactly what I was asking for: a romantic and clean look. When I went to her the first time for trial, actually I was really hesitated. I just had the worst experience with my first trial experience with another well-known bridal salon and I had the owner did my makeup trial. She is very popular among the bridal makeup community. When I went to her, she told me all the things I have to be done if I want to have a perfect look on my wedding day. She told me I need to get my eyelashes done, get some botox here and there. Even after the trial, I told her I think the foundation color was too dark, and she told me I need to trust her and accept that I do have a darker skin than I thought. I was so upset because I don't know why I need to receive all the negative comments when I just want to be a beautiful bride on my wedding. Later, I was asking around my friend and I connected with Dodonna. I told her all my bad experience and told her I really lost all my confidence. She not only being patient and listen to me and encourage me but also she teach me how can I take care of my skin in the next couple months before the wedding. She even asked me to send over all the inspirational pic and ask me all the details about my vision of my wedding. All these is even before meeting her in person for the trial. You know how sweet and professional she is. I still remember she told me that: you just focus on being a beautiful bride, I will take care of the rest. I felt so blessed to find her. When I met her for the trial, I like her immediately. She is pretty, sweet, friendly and super neat. She uses a lot of high-end brands for makeups- Chanel, Hourglass, Dior, etc. And she has everything so organized so I feel good about her in the first place. She listen to me and communicate with me what's the best for me and she even teach me some little tricks and techniques that I can use it later for my daily makeups. Having her as your bridal makeup artist, you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Because you know she is on top of everything and you can just let her do everything and you will get more than you expect. She even spent extra time with me just because I could not decide my hair style...sometimes you feel she really just like a friend instead of doing business with you. After the trial, she reached out to me and keep discussing and finalizing the looks. Also, she even sent me a big package of the facial mask as wedding gift and told me when to use it. And those masks was life changer...and she even shared a lot of her own experience how she took care of her skin before her own wedding. Talking to her, you really feel she just treat you not as a client but a good friend. When it's approaching to the wedding, she kept checking in with me. Even though there are a lot of changes on my bridesmaids hair styles, my mom's makeups and hairstyles, she still really patient and being super flexible on adjusting the day-of schedule for me. On the wedding day, she came earlier than I expected just because she wants to spend more time working on preparing my skin before putting on the makeups. She told me if we prepare my skin better, the makeups will stay longer and looks better. So she use a golden-massager with primer (she bought a brand new primer just for my skin type) to prep my skin for the day. Therefore, my makeups stay on so well that day without even using any airbrush. I loved my look on my wedding day and I loved what Dodonna did for my mom and the bridal party. My mom especially happy with her hair and makeups because she is very particular about her hair and Dodonna was super patient and nice to my mom. She made my mom very elegant that day so she was very happy. I can't thank Dodonna more. Without her, I won't be able to have a such wonderful wedding.
