They have a decent breakfast and the service is okay. You aren't going to get a 4-star meal here, but, it's better than Denny's.

This is my first time posting a review, but this cafe restaurant was so good I wanted to let other travelers know about it. I'd never been to Redding before, so came to this cafe totally new. Great latte, great service, quiet but still had other customers. I had the Vegetarian Eggs Benedict - so good, so fresh. The coffee area is right next to the restaurant area, but you can eat from the restaurant menu in the cafe. I guarantee you'll be happy you stopped in here for coffee or a meal. Arrived at 7:30am for Sunday breakfast and was seated immediately. I had the 'Deja Scramble' and have to say that the hash browns are among the best I have tasted. The gravy tastes fresh-made and though I am not a big gravy fan I had to try it based on other reviews. It was fantastic. We have eaten twice at this establishment and i can not give a favorable review. I let the first visit go giving the benefit of the doubt, NOT today. The food is mediocre, " Do not order the dip sandwich it is horrible the broth dip is flavorless and the beef is no different. Another is that I can not see my self drinking a specialty coffee out of a paper to go cup simply because , " we are out of glass cups" this has happened at both visits, I can go to A less favorable location if I want a "to go drink" with my meal and my hot latte I'm sure would also be hot. My wife's griddle combo was outstanding. 2 huge, fluffy pancakes with 3 different types of syrups, 1 strip of bacon,1 sausage, and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. So here's the deal the coffee place is bomb, super good coffee but the breakfast side is seriously the slowest service. If you are even able to get service, this is the second time Iv come here and not had a waiter or waitress even acknowledge I exist after waiting 20 min for a table. Plus the the servers and hosts are douche bags. I mean they don't care if you get up and leave or don't have a good experience. You should totally come eat here if your time is worth absolutely nothing to you and you love eating garbage. read more

Deja Vu Restaurant has a great CAFE attached to it that I finally went in for the first time. It's a quiet, cozy place to hop online and get a great cup of coffee. Had breakfast with my husband on a Sunday morning, they were quite busy but we only waited 5 minutes to be seated. Waitress was amazing and the food was exceptional. Best corned beef hash I've had. Hot coffee! We will go back the next time we are in town for sure. read more

This place is amazing. Fabulous corned beef hash, best rye bread (really tastes like rye) hubby has had. My jalapeño bacon eggs Benedict were perfectly prepared. The whites cooked and the yolks runny with a nice light hollandaise sauce. We ordered a cinnamon roll to split and it was on the house for my birthday. Great service from Debbie and we'll definitely be back again for one of those great looking sandwiches we saw. Don't miss this place. Just moved to Redding and have been on the hunt for a good breakfast joint. Our search has officially ended. Deja Vu was everything we were hoping for and then some. Started off with a salted caramel mocha which was the best coffee my husband and I have ever tasted. My son ordered the pancakes and devoured them. My hubby ate the Brickhouse omelet and I had the garden omelet. Both were wonderful! Also they made the best hash browns EVER! Went to Deja Vu to grab a quick cup of coffee; nothing special, just house coffee. A large to go was over $4.00!! I was shocked as that is more than any coffee that I have purchased downtown.
