Absolute best Del taco I've ever been to. We are traveling north from magic mountain, fright fest. Left at 1:30am so we couldn't find any place open. Not for lack of trying. So we "settled" for del taco. Wow, they really took care of us! The nice man serving us even offered us drinks while we waited! Everything was correct, (which is tough for us because we always have customizations) hot, and very generous with ingredients. BIG SHOUT OUT TO WIGGIE STACKS! Went through the drive-thru and he was very sweet and polite! Got our meals (2x small #4s) and they were STACKED. The crispy chicken quesa-tacos looked better than the promo photos and tasted AMAZING! They had the perfect amount of toppings which were evenly spread, which some Del's really struggle with for some reason... Also, this was the first time I forgot to order my fries well-done because (I hate to say it) usually their fries are pretty limp BUT THEY WERE STILL CRISPY JUST LIKE I LOVE EM! Even better because sometimes they burn them when I asked for well-done and these were PERFECTION. *chef's kiss* Probably the best Del Taco experience I've ever had. I have to say that this del taco made my food perfect! All I got was a eight layer burrito but it was made with correct proportions of ingredients throughout the tortilla instead of just shoved in one corner like I usually end up getting. Lol. Also I don't know if this Dell taco is special but they literally cut up some avocado for me instead of just giving me some green glop I usually suffer through. So yeah other del tacos need a lesson from this location. read more

I started going to this Del Taco recently as it's close to my job and wow can I say for fast food I am extremely impressed! Every time I go there my food is hot and the food actually looks like the pictures advertised which is EXTREMELY rare in the fast food business. Also the lady who is usually at the drive thru window around lunch time during the week is seriously so awesome! She is always smiling and friendly and you can tell genuinely enjoys what she does. This is by far one of my favorite fast food restaurants. You have to try the double del cheeseburger, yes thats right the double del cheeseburger. I know it may sound weird a cheeseburger at a taco place but seriously their burgers are better than that box place or arch place, try 'em you will see. Then my new favorite is the $1 tostadas. They make their beans fresh daily is their new claim to fame and it shows. The beans taste really fresh and have a chunky texture. This store is clean and friendly service. I had one of the worst experience ever in this establishment, ever. And it has nothing to do with the food but because the the worker was trying to scam me. This is how the story unfolds. Me and my girlfriend were driving back to the Mariot fairmont hotel and I was a bit hungry so we decided to grab a taco. It was around 10pm and we ordered. The total was 10 bucks and some change. We handed the drive through cashier, a pregnant lady 20 dollars. A minute later, she tells us, the 20 dollar is fake, do you have 10 dollars? Confused, my girlfriend grabs her purse and gives her 2 five dollar bill. She hands us the food without giving us the 20 bucks back. We asked her we need the 20 back, I know for a fact it wasn't fake. She refused saying that it's illegal for her to give us the money back. So we demanded to talk to a manager and she said there was no manager on duty. I, then, told her I'm going to call corporate and I asked for her name. She got really skittish and ran to the back for 3-4 minutes and then she came out. Still refusing to give us her name she handed us the the 20 back. Told us if we use that 20, we would get in trouble. Guess what? The next day we went to Burger King, the guy took our 20 without marking it, then I asked him, hey can you just mark it, I want to see if it's real. He looks at me funny and marks the 20. The 20 is real. Long story, the pregnant lady who worked around 10pm on november 14th 2020 tried to scam us thinking we would drive away without asking for our 20 back. I will call the general manager for that store and corporate about this matter. read more

Regular Del Taco food, but with a clean bathroom, nice smiling friendly workers and no lines. That with a big variety on the Buck and under menu, including breakfast items all day, this is a winner for a stop off on a long road trip. Food was freshly made and hot. They have some new policies, like calling your order by your name, have fresh ingredients and where they come from locally such as the avocados. We will come through again I'm sure. read more

Driving home from Southern California after a long day, I stopped at this Del Taco and ordered something to eat. Upon ordering the staff asked me how I was doing and waited for a response before taking my order. Are you kidding me? Who does that at a drive through restaurant these days? They may ask but then go right into what do you want not waiting for you to answer the first question. Home run #1. Then upon driving to the next window, staff repeated my order and looked at me and said that will be $$ PLEASE. I just looked at him and thought WOW his parents did something right. Keep in mind it was at night and about 43 degrees outside and he did not just slam the window in my face. Home run #2. Upon getting my food, the staff told me what was in the bag while he was looking at me. OMG! Eye contact with the customer instead of throwing the bag a food out the window while they are talking to a co-worker. Home run #3. The food was very tasty and hot. Yet another night of bad drive-thru service. We've come to the conclusion that we should avoid this drive-thru unless we want to play Russian Roulette with our order. If you order a soft taco they will ask "regular or chicken" ... This confuses men who have been sent to order and they may bring home chicken rather than regular. So the next time they order "regular soft tacos" to make their hangry girlfriend happy ... they arrive home with hard tacos!!! The next visit this hangry girlfriend reminds him to check the bag! He is so proud of himself, orders soft tacos, a bean and rice burrito, checks the bag - it all feels soft! Good to go! This hangry girlfriend eats burrito like she needs a snickers, then takes a huge bite out of the soft taco ... yeah, totally should have checked the inside - it was chicken. This is probably the worst Del Taco I have ever been to. SO SLOW. I get it. We are in Bakersfield, so I wasn't expecting much. But even with my expectations being low, this location still disappointed. Took a solid 20 minutes to fill our order of 4 small bean n cheese burritos and a large sprite. We need more Del Taco's in our area. I was surprised at the freshness of the taco salad, and the added touch of avocado slices!! Just needed a few more tortilla chips, but not having enough didn't take away from the salad. I LOVED that they offered turkey tacos!! Didn't think to ask if turkey was an option for the salad. I get off work very late and night and this is pretty much my go-to place. Good tacos with tons of cheese -- quick easy late night dinner. I love the nights when the night manager Siomara is working the drive-thru window. My girlfriend made a request for Macho Nachos with ONLY SHREDDED cheddar cheese and NOTHING else. Siomara gladly did this for her. She's also happily, gladly accommodated any odd order we've ever made -- and we've made some doozies! Brandon is awesome too! It's nice to go to a drive-thru where the people who work there have a phenomenally great attitude and make the time spent there a fun one.
