Breakfast combo. Coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice and fruit.

The breakfast club is so cool. It's still got that old America restaurant feel, nestled right off Woodward. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. Freshly squeezed OJ and a I got a cute little chocolate covered strawberry with my check. For sure check it out!

Irish morn with ketchup and hot sauce. Fresh corned beef was really good. French crepe good as well! Service was great.

The food here is mid. Sometimes it's a hit or miss. They make you wait for the food as if it's being freshly made, but when you get your food it's always something that's not fresh. Every time I order fruit it's NEVER fresh. Recently, I received bad fruit with mold on it! It never fails when I order fruit its bad. Please check your food, especially your fruit, before leaving.

My brother and sister and I went there for the first time based on reviews I'd read. Nice atmosphere and the service was really good. We ordered classic eggs benedict, omelet with gravy and regular breakfast with eggs, pancake, bacon and fruit. The food was tasty but not hot and the portions were unexpectantly small in comparison to other similar restaurants AND the prices were more. My sister normally orders the same at other places and get 3 eggs and 3 large pancakes, toast and hashbrown. We usually can't eat everything but this time it was easy to do. The waitress poured her 2 refills of hot coffee which she said was very good. The OJ was very good also. Our bill did come with 3 chocolate covered strawberries (forgot the picture). A nice touch.

Food was amazing and very full filling. Waiting staff was lovely & patient with us. We kind of took a while looking over the menu. Was very hard to pick just one thing over the other.

This place came highly recommended. Which is a shame as we weren't pleased. We are tucked in a corner by the window which is not visible to the staff. East to become out of sight and out of mind. I had the seafood bowl. The smell of fish hits you hard as she's walking up and not in a pleasant way. The bowl has smoked salmon, lobster and crab. All you smelled was fish that was not quite right. It made this dish a complete turn off. I picked at the potato's a bit but the smell was so rank i had this removed from the table. My partners food was brought out in pieces. He received the eggs and bacon but not the pancakes. by the time he finished the eggs and bacon the pancakes arrived. I really despise when a server drops the food and bill at the same time. It shows you don't plan to check in (and she didn't) Don't lan to offer anything else (and she didn't) and don't really care if we are ok (and she didn't) We didn't even have all of our food yet so why do we have the bill?? This one won't get a return visit. Maybe we caught them at a bad time but it was not enjoyable

Service is amazing!! We arrived as an unnumbered large group and when I say they made a space for us and had us seated as a group of seven in less than ten minutes.. then as our group added on another five they just added a table for us and accommodated us graciously!! Separate checks made calculating our bill simple and everyone felt free to order exactly what they wanted!! Our food was delicious. I had an omelet with bacon tomato and avocado accompanied by english muffin toast!! Delicious. And the cup of coffee while I waited on my food was great too!

I've seen some mixed reviews, but my meal here was excellent. The breakfast "rush" is decently busy- but the inside is fairly big, so it doesn't feel crowded. The wait was minimal, coffee on the ready and some time to chat before food arrived. The crepes were phenomenal, and the portions were hearty! I thought the price was on-point for the food you received, but some may think it's a little steep. All in all, this place has a nice charm about it and the food was great. I would recommend trying to get a seat in the middle, as the 2-person tables seemed a little tight!

Delicious food. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. I had a breakfast bowl and toast. The food came in a timely manner but I wasn't in a hurry. My car was being worked on at GoodYear a bit north of the cafe. I didn't have any coffee because the auto center had some free in their waiting area. Most places like this you pay by bringing the bill and your payment to a register and counter, but here they take you bill and payment and bring it back to you at the table.

Always a pleasure meeting at this place. The staff is efficient and kind. The food is always delicious and never waivers. If you've ordered it before you'll get the exact same thing if you order again. Nice to see that even though they have two locations that both of them serve the exact same food.

The people working here were so friendly and personable with literally everyone that walked in the door. The service was top notch. It is also the most adorable place giving vibes of Lamy's food counter at Henry Ford Museum. I loved all of the options on the menu and it was so hard just picking a couple items to try. We had chicken tacos. They were so good and so fresh, I loved the sauce on top. Honestly, I am not sure if it was cheese or a sour cream type mixture, but it was creamy and flavorful. I also had the torta which was absolutely incredible. It had the same chicken as the taco. The chicken was slow cooked or stewed and shredded and was so flavorful, like a homecooked chef's kiss. The bread was fresh. I loved the sauce poured over it, making it a dipped and soaked sandwich. The carrots and cilantro, sliced radishes and sliced fresh jalapenos added a level of crunch, freshness and deeper flavor profile. I would want to get this every time. We also tried their delicious "curly" fries, which were like julienned shoestring fries fired fresh. It seemed like every dish was made fresh and right in front of you. So worth it, plus the prices are great. I would love to try their fried chicken plate, their breakfast sandwiches, and their other desserts. We talked to the man behind the counter who seemed like maybe a manager. He gave us their famous chocolate chip cookie to try. It was fresh baked and delicious. I would love to take home more of those. It looked so simple but was better than many bakeries specializing in cookies alone. He also gave us an second order of fries to take home with my leftovers, just top notch kindness and service. This man told us that OWL owns other restaurants and we would probably like them. I am open to trying more of their group but I do want to return here. This is one of those diners you would find being profiled for best kept secret or gourmet home cooked foods under the guise of fast food.

The city was bustling with people, and I was pleasantly surprised by how gorgeous the downtown area was. The café had a vibrant, energetic atmosphere that perfectly matched the excitement of the city. Our server was absolutely amazing and made excellent recommendations. Next time, I definitely want to try the red velvet pancakes! My friend ordered the Triple Triple Omelette with the original buttermilk pancakes, and we both chose the cheesy grits. The cheesy grits were very creamy, though I would recommend adding a little more butter to enhance the flavor. That was really my only critique. The restaurant was busy, but after dining there, I completely understand why. Despite the crowd, we were greeted immediately, and the service was prompt throughout our visit. I also think I may have ordered the wrong dish because my mom got an omelette with pancakes on the side and enjoyed it. I gambled with the huevos rancheros but they were just ok. I wish the potatoes were more seasoned. You definitely get a huge portion for whatever you order so expect to split with someone or have leftovers. All in all, a solid brunch spot but not a favorite.

I ordered the country breakfast, which came with biscuits and gravy, eggs, toast, potatoes, and sausage--everything was spot on. I'm usually not a big hash browns person, so I really appreciated that they offer an alternative to the shredded style.
