I ordered a meal on uber eats for my girlfriend, the food was fine BUT there was a staple in her tostada. which is unacceptable.

The new jumbo shrimp tacos are so good and fresh! They even came with a fresh lime wedge. 2 tacos for $6, you can't beat it.

Ordered through Dash and it was the very first and very last time I will EVER eat at a Del Taco. Was initially going over menu and getting quite excited seeing the choices of items, something new and different for us. Lots of chicken choices as beef is usually the norm, and even fries to satisfy the kids? Should be awesome. Order five meals and it comes out to a whopping $55. Ok should be a decent meal for the fam. Imagine our disappointment when we receive one small bag with all five meals in it. Let me rephrase. ALL FIVE meals, all 18 menu items, not including the 5 drinks fit in one lunch bag sized bag. That was just the start. The tacos? Half full tortillas or shells. Their premium tacos? Maybe 1/3 full of filling, the wrap just rubber tortillas. The expensive premium burrito? Half full and bland. Bland. Bland. For a place that touts fresh made they forgot what seasoning is. Salt is a thing, should try it. We essentially spent $55 for a few tortillas, less than a chicken breast TOTAL or chicken, some beans, flavorless rice and a half cup of soggy fries. The sodas were the only thing that tasted decent considering we rarely have soda. We spent over $50 on our order and they both didn't include items we ordered and put cheese and sour cream on stuff that was specifically for someone with a dairy allergy. The receipt reads correct but the order was horribly wrong. We live in south Kennewick so driving back to have our order fixed is not an option. If I could leave zero stars for this visit I wouldn't hesitate. Over $15 dollars of our order was either missing or completely incorrect. Horrible service and food every single time we have gone. We tried again after months thinking maybe we needed to give it another try- fail. We waited 15 minutes for food and it never came out. Had to drive through and wait another 5 minutes for a refund. Horrible customer service and this food will definitely make you sick. Congrats tri cities for ruining Del Taco! read more

Tried for the first time last night 5/12/21 @ 9:30pm. What a disappointment. The fries were cold, limp and no salt. The burrito was cold and the root beer was fizz water They say made fresh. I have been to this location twice since they have opened and I have been disappointed both times. First time was in the drive thru. I waited so long my fries were cold and had to go back into the restaurant to get warm fries and by than I wasn't even hungry. The second time I was in the restaurant and I waited almost 20 minutes for my food and I heard line/prep cooks cussing, I even witnessed an employee take his hat off, scratch his head, put his hat back on and then continue making food. You'd think after waiting 20 minutes for food it would be hot and correct, but no... tacos were cold and with hard flour tortillas, along with other things wrong with the order. I grew up in Southern California and couldn't wait for this location to open, I don't know if I'll go here again. I was so excited when I heard Del Taco was coming to Tri-Cities. The one in College Place had my expectations super high. Unfortunately, this Del Taco drops the ball on so many levels. We've been to this Del Taco twice and will no longer eat here. The food was ok on the first visit, but the staff wasn't overly friendly. Sure, I could get over the staff and the ok food, but not the lack of training and regard for food safety. One employee was cleaning the sauce dispensers, removed the plungers, set them on someone's dirty tray at the tray collection, and then stuck them back into the sauce. Talk about disgusting! Many months later, we tried it again going through the drive through. The employee handed me the food and my credit card and said "here's your card and receipt" and then ran off. Only problem? They never gave me a receipt and never came back to the window, even after I honked and made eye contact with the employee. In addition, the food was cold and both of the burritos were extremely messy. As we left, the employees were outside running around. Sure, I can respect the need for sunshine, but they were clearly goofing off. Had high hopes for this place. Never again. Only a matter of time before the health department shuts this place down or they go under because of their staff. read more

I ordered 12 crunchy snack tacos and the man asked if I wanted sour cream on them and I said I just wanted the snack tacos. He proceeds to ask if we want sour cream on them so I finally just said yes thinking that maybe they had already made extra and that's why he was so persistent on us getting tacos with sour cream. and then he told me it was $20. Lol so I told him again we don't want sour cream and he seemed upset. I'm so confused on why someone working for fast food is trying to upsell me? It ridiculous and I've never had an experience like this at other Del tacos in Utah. I wouldn't bother going to this location. They'll trick you into spending more than what you anticipated.
