I went to this location with my wife on a Tuesday around 4:00. We both ordered the snack taco deal and I also ordered a fish taco. The tacos were about what I would expect for a fast food taco place and the fish taco reminded me of Rubio's fish taco. Inside, most of the tables were not wiped down and had food crumbs but as we were eating someone came out with a bucket and towel to wipe down the tables. The service was fine. Not so "Epic" Burritos I didn't find their burritos to be as "epic" as advertised. Food was picked up by my personal "Dasher" (aka the hubby) LoL! He went to the brand new and closest Del Taco in our neighborhood. This is located in the new Nugget shopping center on Woodcreek Oaks and Blue Oaks Blvd's. Why is this Del Taco currently at 2-1/2 stars if the food is so good... I can't comment on the service but only the food. We ordered the following. These are what they are called from their ad: Epic Crispy Chicken & Guac Burrito Epic Cali Bacon Burrito with Carne Asada (2) We got the three burritos and all were unmarked so we had to cut into each one so we know what's inside in each. My daughter said her crispy chicken burrito was flavorless... where's the Guac? so she added Ranch dressing for flavor... I don't know, I don't judge. Hubby and I each had the Cali Bacon Burrito but it looked more like their Loaded Queso Burrito... where's the bacon? I regret everything. I don't know where to start. To begin with, there were no patrons in the store when we arrived. I estimate maybe 2 cars in drive through. We stood waiting to order for some time. They saw us but ignored us for some odd reason. Let me be real. I have had my share of Taco Bell. With that said, I will admit my pallet doesn't include fast Mexican food that much. As such, I had the appropriate expectations coming into this. Overheard at my table... Ummm....that's salty....yea....ok....the sauce makes it taste....what the hell am I eating....did you really order the beyond meat guacamole taco?!??! Did you know that the actual beef contains very little beef....umm....yea...that's not good....ok....what are you eating??!?...ok the shell is crunchier than Taco Bell...um....do you have a bad aftertaste?!?! Without going into gory details, I had two standard tacos (beef) and a crunchtasda. My meal came with fries??? The food was cold. Nothing seemed close to appropriate temperatures, and besides the salty chicken taco, nothing had much taste. That includes the flaccid fries that seems like they had been sitting out at room temperature for an hour. They were mealy and had a strange texture. I have great difficulty resisting a bargain, especially when it comes to eating, so when I received "junk mail" coupons from Del Taco, advertising their specials and offering special discounts, I knew it was time to pay my local Del Taco, Store #1359 a visit, after a year-and-a-half hiatus. I received in the mail a page of coupons from Del Taco - corporate, I assume - offering discounts on many choices on their menu. Great coincidence, as I'd been thinking about re-visiting my local Del Taco, as it had been well over a year since I'd paid a visit to this fine restaurant. With a "Buy 1 Get 1 Free," burrito, along with a "99-cent Quesadilla," I couldn't resist a visit, as how could I resist enjoying a breakfast priced at under $3.00? In Roseville, the old saying is so true: "So many restaurants, and so little time." I'm sorry to say that I'm not a great "repeat" customer, as the Placer County restaurant scene is dynamic, and I simply can't keep up with it. Like nearly all "fast food" restaurants, you ponder the overhead menu, make your selection and pay for it at the counter. Your reward will be a ticket with your name on it, and when your order is ready, your name will be called and you can pick it up from the counter. Unlike many other "fast food" restaurants, the Roseville location of Del Taco displays a cooler, located behind the counter, where fresh onions, tomatoes and avocados are stored, and on display. As the motto of the cooler displays, "Fresher is Better!" From the "Buy 1 get 1 Free" coupon, I ordered two "Bean and Cheese Burrito" with one with green sauce and the other with red sauce. I added a "Cheddar Cheese Quesadilla," which at the regular price of $1.49 is great, but at $.99 it was a spectacular "how could you ever resist?" addition to this fine breakfast. I added several packages of complimentary "Mild" sauce from the sauce bar, located next to the soda dispenser. At way less than $3.00, this was a delicious "steal of a meal" and an amazing value for 2023! The "Sauce Bar" offers little packages of sauce - sorry, it's not salsa - in varieties ranging from mild to quite hot, along with ketchup. Napkins, drinking straws and plastic utensils are included. It's all "on the house," which adds to the great value you'll enjoy dining at Del Taco. I ordered one "Bean and Cheese Burrito" with red sauce, and the other with green sauce. Both burritos arrived rolled in a medium-large flour tortilla, stuffed with refried beans and delicious, melted Cheddar cheese. I suspect the beans and the cheese were already prepared, as is the custom with "fast food" restaurants, but it made no difference to me, as I simply loved the burritos. Honestly, I could not tell the difference between the red or green sauce, by either looking at, or tasting the burrito. I was simply AMAZED at the "Cheddar Cheese Quesadilla" as it was simply HUGE! It was a large flour tortilla, perfectly fried on the griddle - complete with grill marks - stuffed with perfectly melted Cheddar cheese, and grilled to perfection. It arrived cut into perfect bite-size pieces and it made for a delicious and filling side for my burritos. The regular price of the quesadilla is $1.49, but the coupon gave it to me for $.99, which was an absolute rock-bottom great "bang for the buck." Del Taco is a "fast food" restaurant, but that doesn't mean it isn't "good food." My bean burritos, although very basic were simply delicious, and the melted cheese quesadilla, on the perfectly grilled flour tortillas was an amazing side dish. I simply LOVED my breakfast! As an aside, my simple "breakfast" kept me full until dinner, as I skipped lunch, thanks to the great food and friendly staff at Del Taco. Alright, it's "fast food" and it's Del Taco, but how could I have ever gone wrong with a great breakfast, that lasted me until dinner for less than $3.00? Combine the great Del Taco cuisine, the super friendly service, and the laid-back atmosphere... Del Taco, on Blue Oaks Blvd. in Roseville, CA is a "winner of a restaurant in every way. I decided to order lunch yesterday from Del Taco. It was convenient so I decided to give it a try ....... It had been some time. I selected a Taco Salad and The Del Taco. My salad included extra seasoned beef and guacamole. I also opted for extra beef on the taco. I am glad I did, otherwise both would have lacked enough meat to meet my expectations. Ok, so we know not to expect gourmet Mexican food when we visit Del Taco; even in the absence of reading Yelp reviews, it's obviously a fast food joint. I downloaded the app and proceeded to place an order for pick up. I ordered quite a few items, everything from a burger to soft tacos to hard shell tacos to burritos, oh and an order of fries. Everything was made fresh and my order was filled accurately and was ready shortly after my arrival. The kids working there were all courteous, professional, friendly, and clean. The establishment itself was clean, too. I stood at the counter for at least three minutes and it did appear that the counter person was busy if not understaffed. I was never acknowledged despite the counter person looking right at me several times. No "hello, I'll be right with you" or "welcome to Del Taco". He did however greet the Uber Eats or Door dash driver asking who he was picking up for, despite the driver arriving a couple of minutes after I got there. After I decided to leave and I started toward the door, the counter person finally shuffled toward the counter and asked if i wanted to order, I replied no and his answer was "Cool". I went here after work and had a long day and I'm when I got home I had a completely different order. I ordered a chicken burrito and a chicken soft taco and they gave me a bean and cheese burrito and hard crunchy taco and when I went back, they could have given me my money back for the inconvenience, they seem like I was more of a nuisance than anything not even really an apology and there was nobody in the line through the drive-through. They need to train their associates and have better customer service and they took the old food back that they messed up should have at least offered to give me that food for free on top of giving me my correct order or compensate me and some sort of very horrible customer service I won't be back read more

Perfect for what they are, an upgrade from Taco Bell and a downgrade from a Mexican restaurant. We usually get drive-thru food. Always hot, always the same taste from order to order. Listen to the prior reviews...this place is terrible. I normally dont order fast food or del taco but it was late and decided to give up on my diet and it was the only place open on door dash. Some of my items were missing (no big deal, things happen and it probably gets busy late at night) But the quality and taste was just awful and took zero effort to prepare. Not a single one of my items were remotely warm, the tortillas were hard and the bun on the bun taco was stale...the beans in my items were so cold they had coagulated. And this is not the fault of my door dasher (I live about 5 minutes away from the location and I could see on the app that my driver got there early and waited for my order to finish being prepared and delivered it promptly) long story short, I had hotter and better meals prepared for me while I was in jail than I did from Del Taco tonight. I just ate here for lunch and they are busy. I ordered a burrito with fries and opted for chicken. When I got my order, the burrito was less than half filled. It looks like a quarter full and then squeezed flat to make contents reached half of the burrito. It took me 4 bites into the flat burrito to reach the ingredients inside. I understand that the pictures on the menu will never look like what they are in reality, but this was taking it down several levels. We've been fans of Del Taco for the past 20 years when we lived in Las Vegas. Now that we live in Roseville it was exciting to see them open up one closer to home, because Douglas is quite a ways away. It's a Fast Food Restaurant, you'll have good orders and bad orders, it's the nature of the business. Be patient with staff and if your order is wrong be respectful when asking them to correct it. The food is Americanized Californian Mexican Inspired. Either you love it or hate it. One of my favorite items is the Bacon Double Del Cheeseburger along with their Crinkle Cut Fries. Yes, their Cheeseburger, don't underestimate it until you try it. Taco Nights; on Tuesdays you get 3 Value Tacos for $1.50 (after 3:00pm), and then on Thursdays is 3 Chicken Soft Tacos for $2.49 (after 3:00pm). Today we tried their Breakfast Items and of the three Double Cheese Breakfast Tacos we loved the Beef, then the Egg, and finally the Bacon comes in last. Which is suprising because we love Bacon, but the Beef, which is the same put into the Tacos and Burritos, was so good in Breakfast form. The Donut Bites and Iced Coffee was also good.
