At this Del taco I went to get a pink lemonade and found a bug in my drink. Absolutely disgusted that I didn't find it until after I had drank a little of it. I just want to make sure that others are aware. Obviously they do not keep thier kitchen properly clean otherwise they wouldn't have bugs in thier kitchen. While waiting in line, someone (who seemed to be manager) was yelling the the young guy to come help the people in line, only for him to argue that he was busy.. (mind you, I'm the only one inside) after 15 minutes, I finally get my order taken.. Once in the car, I open my chili fries to have only about 10 fries inside.. WTH. so I go in and they remade them. This place is by far the worst del taco I've gone to so far. I work late night shifts on my way back home I occasionally like to stop by and get something quick to eat. Last night... I pull up to the drive through and I noticed a group of people smoking outside of the restaurant, little did I know they were all of the employees, noticed 4 of them. One goes back in to take my order and all I got from the person who took my order was ATTITUDE! Like I'm intruding on her time. She said "you can order now." So I went ahead, when I was done I didn't even get my total or an okay. Pull up the window and I waited 5 MINUTES for anybody to even take my payment!!!!!! Mind you the window was fully open and they were all still hanging out outside because you could see through the window... few minutes later a girl and a guy come back in. The guy didn't even wash his hands!!!!! Takes my payment and hands me my food with his dirty smoker hands! OH MY GOD! The most disgusting thing I've even experienced. The so called lead or manager didn't even apologize for making me wait or not even letting me know they were short staff. Rude and disgusting. Never going back to this place. Not to mention all of the employees look like they even clean up for work.. this is a rough neighborhood, so the fact that the window was even left open says a lot... When some looked like this & others had meat I asked to speak to a manager Jami was really rude & obnoxious, making sure to yell out to me how to spell her name. Her drive-thru employee apologized. Then Jami handed her a side of meat to hand to me. Not sure what a customer does with this when you are eating on the road. If I owned this location I'd be sending in others to see what their experience is as ours was SO bad I wrote this review. We will never stop here while driving from Tahoe again. read more

I have bought Large Queso Loaded Nachos with Beef from this location (Truxel road) 4 times . Only Once the order had been handled correctly. The other 3 times , the plates were almost half of the weight that they were supposed to be (around 300 gr instead of 581gr )and there was no sliced jalapeños in plate at all. It was my mistake not checking my orders right away to notice these issues, because other cars were waiting behind me. The cashier did not even give me my receipt. Del Taco is my favorite fast food joint! I go to it anytime I find one when traveling. This is the worst one ever! The employees are horrible, rude and incompetent. And it's the only menu in the state (well 10 or so del tacos I've been to) that #7 on the menu isn't fish tacos. You have to order them separately at this Del Taco. When I asked for the Fish Taco Meal with fries. The person at the counter was super rude and said they don't do that, I'd have to order everything separately. It was ridiculous. Every single other Del Taco I've EVER been to, even out of state, a #7 is two fish Taco meal. Del Taco has the best fish tacos ever, and fries are one of my favorite foods. Do not go to this location, find another one. It makes me sad as a loyal Del Taco Customer, but you'll be disappointed in the service. read more

Decided to try something new today so i went into del taco to start off there was about 5 customers in there with no mask. I ordered a bean burrito but for some reason the beans were DRY/CRUCHY how the heck are beans dry. When I asked to speak to the manager an employee told me it would be a second and i didn't see a manager for about 10 minutes. Then when I saw the manager I asked for his full name (Shane Marcoux) he was nice to me but when he turned around to ask an employee to remake my food he just started mocking and belittling them mind you most of the employees look under 18 for sure. Great location to relax late at night. The lobby is usually pretty empty with about 3 different parties in the lobby at once. I came here to sit down, relax, and enjoy a quick meal around 9 at night. The food was pretty good considering its fast food. I got 2 chicken soft tacos and macho fries. The tacos were GOOD. Very Good. A good amount of chicken, vegetables, and cheese. My tacos were filled almost to the top with toppings. There were plenty of Macho fries served in a large drinking cup. I found Del Taco's crinkle cut fries to be one of my favorite. The emptiness of Del Taco was great because it was a pretty quiet place for me to interact with a friend of mine. However, the workers there were pretty loud and were yelling about their own personal lives for a period of time. However, i did not find that to be obstructive to my visit. read more

Del Taco really hits the spot when I want to spend $3 on fast food. It's not the most unhealthiest option for fast food, actually tastes great, and you can really vary up your order for cheap. I tried the fish tacos for the first time the other day and for $1.89, they're actually pretty tasty! The chicken soft tacos are the best here, as are the fries. And surprisingly they make a tasty burger! It just takes a while cause they griddle it up when you order it. And the best secret about Del Taco is their breakfast biscuit sandwiches. They're AMAZING. The first thing that the cashier said was we are cleaning our fry machine and you cannot order fries. So I asked her well if I get a combo what will I get ..she said will you can get some chips. I told her I wanted fries and asked for the corporate number . She stated she did not know it and I explained that I am in management and all corporate numbers are public . I usually have no issues with the service here, but the other day I waited 5 mins in the drive thru on my way to work. No biggie, first time for everything. Today however, I saw, three employees "on break" in the dining room and only two working behind the counter. I waited 7 mins before someone took my order, the girl on the drive thru was doing her best to keep up, but couldn't the lead in the dining room see she needed help? I remember when I worked in fast food, sometimes you come in off your break early to help out, and finish it later.
