After a really warm morning at the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens good deli sandwich. My son found Deli Chick on Yelp, so we headed over. It's tucked in a nondescript office park with plenty of parking. They were busy when we arrived, so we had a short wait, which told me it's a popular spot. I ordered the California sandwich: turkey, avocado, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and sprouts on sourdough, with added cheddar, mustard, and jalapenos ($14.95 plus $1.50 for the cheddar). It was fantastic. My son ordered the same with a few tweaks and loved his as well. My wife went for a hot sandwich, and by the time we got back to our lodging it had melted through the bread and was a little messy. She was lukewarm about it, so I had to tease her: "To-go hot sandwiches turn into a hot mess, poor decision." She appreciated my annoying comment and happily snagged a bite of my delicious sandwich, lol. Great sandwiches, friendly vibe, and definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. No frills lunch spot with quick, fresh sandwiches. It looked like they were getting good business and there were a few people eating inside with a small line. Didn't wait long at all and the service was friendly. I ordered the California and added cheddar & bacon. I would like to try a couple other options too! They should be on Ubereats or Doordash for those who can't get away from work at lunchtime.

Was visiting Palm Springs & was looking for a quick breakfast. My lox bagel was pretty delicious. Bagel was soft, flavorful and lox was fishy (how I like it). Would have gotten a second one if I could . Got a latte but I'd skip next time and get a second sandwich. Ordered a cheese n bacon bagel for my partner who said it was also pretty good. Nice customer service over the phone and in store, will definitely return on my next PS or Coachella trip, thank you!

Went on a solo date, I had been trying to try this place for a while and I was out early enough from work. Food was fantastic and portions are large enough to take home & have left overs later. There was a sweet señora that provided the best service ever.

Second visit on Thursday during the lunch rush hour. The staff welcomed my friend and I and we placed our order and grabbed a table. I ordered the Hot Chicken Club sandwich with that home made potato salad . This is the second sandwich I've tried off their menu, I want to try them all eventually, because I'm sure they will all be as delicious as these two that I've previously tried . The staff handled their business and pushed out those incoming orders like a G, great job everyone that worked that day. This is now one of my go to sandwich places to come to and have lunch with friends.

Yum! Tamara is a sandwich master. She runs an awesome shop that serves fresh ingredients and breads, flavorful sandwich combinations and really well-crafted sandwiches and salads, all served up with a friendly smile! There are tables for dining in and you can also take out and order in advance. Love the sprouts on the veggie sandwich. A great touch!

Each one was fresh, delicious, and made to order, and the sandwiches come with a side of your choice. The tasty classic sides like potato salad, coleslaw, pasta salad, chips, cookies, and soups, which perfectly round out any meal. It's hard to pick! The dining area is spotless, cool, and comfortable, ideal for escaping the heat. And the sandwiches? Absolutely incredible! Definitely a new favorite spot. I ordered the veggie, and it was your standard veggie sandwich. I like how it was loaded with veggies and sliced in half to share. They also give you an option to pick a side. I chose the side pasta salad which was pretty average. The customer service was friendly and nice. I was greeted immediately and welcomed. This is a no-frills, hidden-gem, tucked into the middle of a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. It's actually in a great location, and more importantly, it delivers where it counts. It's not chasing trends or a foodie destination, but this is a classic case of -- don't judge a book by its cover. If you're looking for white tablecloths, dainty plating, or a place to sip mimosas with your pinky up, this isn't it. If you want a 45-minute wait and an Instagram selfie backdrop, keep moving. But if you want a solid, satisfying meal that won't wreck your wallet, this place absolutely deserves your attention. It's a two-person operation and everything is made to order. That means if they're busy, you'll need a little patience, but that also means everything is coming out hot and fresh. The decor won't be featured online or in any magazines, but the place is clean, the food is good, and the prices are right. What we had was all simple, filling, and well executed: PB Toast - whole wheat toast with peanut butter, fresh seasonal fruit, and a drizzle of honey. WINNER! Grilled Sourdough - eggs, bacon, ham, melted cheese, and chipotle aioli on sourdough. Yummy and inexpensive. Bagel with cream cheese and lox (2). Solid. If you care more about value and satisfaction than vibes, this is your spot. This experience was a refreshing change especially compared (breakfast v breakfast) to a recent meal we had that cost more than twice as much which was at an overpriced, underwhelming, big-name franchise. If you're looking for something that feels honest: where the focus is on good food, good portions, and real value rather than hype, then you'll appreciate what they're doing here.

This place was great, and we will definitely be back again. We came for lunch on a Thursday. It wasn't very busy and we got our sandwiches right away. The staff were very nice and friendly. I got a California with cheese on squaw bread. I love squaw bread, but find sometimes it can be hit or miss. Not here, though, the bread was so moist and delicious. It might be the best squaw bread I've ever had! Can't wait for next time!

Just had the cook Street BLT. It was absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend this restaurant. Reasonable prices extremely friendly service will be frequently there I highly recommend!

Visited Deli Chick for the first time this morning en route to work. Love the bacon egg and cheese concept as there aren't many in the desert. Great ambiance and staff but upon opening my sandwich i noticed they forgot the bacon! I still enjoyed the sandwich but that's an essential part that was missing. Let's start off with The pastrami sandwich, the meat was perfect! Not too salty or heavy on the stomach. The jalapeño were a perfect amount of spice and crunch that paired really well with the onions and pickles. The bread was toasted and very good. Nothing was over bearing and complimented each other well. The service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself has a cozy vibe to it and plays indie jams (plus one for that) Sandwiches with chips are around 10 to 15 bucks and it's well worth it. Found this little gem in Indian Wells. BEST sandwich shop. The sandwiches were so Delicious and Yummy. Everything was fresh not soggy. We ordered thru Grub hub and 5 min before delivery we were alerted one sandwich was canceled and refunded. A notice when determined they couldn't deliver would have been kind to let us know if we had another choice. Not just cancel one and send the other. How rude !! I am so pleased and impressed with the food and customer service from Kelly at It's a Deli! I was in town for a work presentation and needed to bring breakfast for my client. I saw great reviews and wanted to place an order. I decided on 10 bagels with spread, 5 breakfast burritos and 5 breakfast sandwiches. Kelly was very helpful and even called me back after I ordered to confirm additional information from me to ensure the order would be just what I needed. When I picked the order up the next morning, Kelly and the staff were very friendly, had the order ready to go, and I was in and out of the deli in no time. The food was such a hit with my client! Cute deli in strip mall with super nice staff and super clean interior. I ordered their turkey avocado and sprouts on a baguette .... It was tasty, but I wish they had offered a Dutch crunch or similar size larger roll. The baguette was just too small for me and I'd be willing to pay $13.95 for a larger roll. The Mac salad that came with the sandwich was nice . Though the price was good, I wish they had offered a larger sandwich which kept me from giving a 4 star read more

Always a good day when I can treat myself to the best deli in the valley. The two who work the register, Anne and Kelly are always cool af. Bring a real friendly atmosphere to the spot while always checking up on everyone to make sure everything going good. Plus the sandwiches are always good, especially on Wednesday when they got the French dip and chili. When I asked for a recommendation on what to order, they suggested The Cece Sub along with others. When I saw pastrami, that was the one. They mentioned that all the sides were made in-house, except for the chips. I decided to go with the coleslaw. The sub turned out to be delicious, and the coleslaw was also really good. read more

I ordered a Hollywood Sandwich (like a Ruben) through a delivery app. Note: I subbed rye for sourdough. For my first experience, I was quite disappointed in my sandwich. Other than the meat being thick cut and tender, I have no compliments. Based on pictures of their sandwiches, I expected it to be gooey with melted cheese and abundant in the toppings of sauce, cheese, and coleslaw. None of which was true. One side of the bread was completely dry. All the ingredients were on the other side. There are other sandwich places in the valley that I would definitely choose over this one next time. read more

It seems this place is always crowded at lunch time so I try going off hours to avoid the hustle and bustle of patrons getting their lunch here. I tried the meatloaf sandwich since it was the flavor of the day and was not dissapointed. Full of flavor and just the right amount of spices. I added the pasta salad and it was delicious. When simple ingredients are quality, they really make a sandwich sing! Big fan of the california turkey on sourdough and the tuna melt. Randomly started ordering via postmates and couldn't be happier with this spot. Jersey Mike's is great 'n all but this is a much needed break from chain sandwich shops. They also serve lunch and have a bakery counter, but I didn't look too hard at those parts of the menu because I knew I wanted the short-rib scramble as soon as I saw it on the online menu, haha! And the biscuits--oh my goodness, they are so good. They taste perfectly homemade and are pillow soft yet just the right amount of crumbly without being a dried, cracking mess. Across my 2 visits, I had the short-rib scramble (yum) and the Meany (basically eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a biscuit--yum), and my daughter had the biscuits and gravy, which she said was great. I highly recommend Wilma & Frieda's and will definitely go back on future Palm Springs trips.

I truly hope they can turn things around because I would love to enjoy this place again. However, until then I don't think I will be coming back.

They use high quality meats but when it comes to them making a sandwich it only looked like they used 2 or 3 thin slices of meet and 1/8 or less of avacado and paper thin bacon. This was as basic of a sandwich you can get, very little effort went in to what they made. All this for $10 and change is insane. But once I took a bite, they definitely weren't as good as they LOOKED. My French dip sandwich was cold, and the bread was hard to chew. The bread on the cold sandwich was also hard, and honestly, it seemed like the same type of bread that Jersey Mike's uses. The meat inside was good, but the bread itself was disappointing. I know the preparation might have taken a long time for the French Dip but if you know it's going to take a long time then maybe do that one at the end since it's a "served hot" sandwich and do the cold one first. But why were they BOTH on the shelf for 10 min? I didn't want to complain at the time because I noticed that the kitchen was mostly made up of younger individuals, and I didn't want to make a big deal about it. But afterward, I realized that it was my money that I spent, and I had every right to say something. Now I'm left wondering: Was this simply forgetfulness, or was there something more to it?
