Had some amazing sandwiches which were catered from deli delicious at an event which I attended a week ago. I've tried them all: turkey, ham, and beef. I must say the beef on the white bread was my favorite. The sandwiches were so flavorful and moist. Particularly like the ones with pickles in them. Excellent. I don't think I've ever had sandwich from Deli delicious which I didn't like. The sandwich came on all different types of bread like whole wheat and so on. So there are lots of different choices that you can order. The sandwiches were like a loaf type bun and they were cut in half and wrapped in paper so it made it very convenient if you were having an event catered. That is not something that should be done at a restaurant of any type. Constructive criticism: Take your drawer to the back and count it there. That way someone can help customers. It's called professional. 2. The cashier was very nice. So you gained a star for that. But the two girls that had time to stand around and do nothing could have helped the customers. 3. Fill your fries up. I ordered a large I expected a large not a half full bag. 4. Send your employees to another location to learn to make sandwiches. I have been ordering a BLT from Deli Delicious for many many years. There is barely any bacon on this. Your people need to learn to make sandwiches. 5. Get it together. You will not be a huge success if this is what you are giving people. Ever since the pandemic, the deli d near us went downhill but they have improved unlike most restaurants! But people trickled in right behind us. 39 Turkey bacon and jack It was good but there was only one slice of bacon in the entire sandwich. Very disappointed!!! Normally I go to a location on Shaw near work and always have great sandwiches, but decided to go to the Kingscanyon location because it's so close to home. Came here with a co-worker last week and it was OKAY. It was a very warm day and they do not have air conditioning. I want to go ahead and assume that they are just trying to keep costs down, but it really doesn't attract any customers to eat there. I couldn't help, but think about the workers in the back. I've gone here before and no problems really. But today... I dk what it was... but the service and quality was way off! 3 workers during lunch? Really?! 2 sandwich makers, 1 cashier. Subway does it with 3 employees and they get it done fast still. Maybe I should continue to just go there? The cashier took our order, no problem. We ordered 2 sandwiches and beer battered fries. We wait almost 20 minutes for our sandwiches. The line fluctuated since we got there at 12:45. Sometimes it cleared up, others times there were 4-5 folks in line. It wasn't out the door crazy busy at all, but busy. There were 2 sandwich makers. By the time we got our sandwiches, the worker gave us 3 sandwiches. We told her 1 wasn't ours, she looked confused and under pressure. She didn't even know which sandwiches were ours and said all 3 were what we ordered. The bf figured one sandwich was mine. My sandwich was made wrong, his wasn't toasted even though he ordered it from the "Hot Sandwiches" menu. They proceeded to fix the sandwiches but probably threw out the 3rd sandwich that may have been the correct one. No apologies, NOTHING. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I've got to give it to them, it can be hard to get my sandwich right with some customization, but they didn't even seem to look at the receipt and proceeded to just make the numbered sandwich on the menu. The standard sandwiches. Look here, if you can't catch the details and don't want to make customizations then Deli Delicious shouldn't have a menu in front of the cashier with OPTIONS stating what to add and "by request" in writing on the menu. The beer battered fries tasted bad. Either old or straight out of the freezer. I don't remember it being that bad. And they were COLD. For waiting 20 minutes for our sandwiches and then another 10-15 minutes for it to be fixed, they were cold from the first time they gave them to us. They remade my sandwich and skimped out on the avocado. That's the sole basis of my veggie sandwich! At least they gave us some when we asked and went back for the 5th time, but in a foam container with no spoon or fork to help me put it in my sandwich. OH and they toasted my sandwich. Even though I didn't request it. The toasted sandwiches rip the roof of my mouth and lips... I just got sick of going back. One, two many mistakes for one lunch break. After another worker came out from behind, everything seemed to run smoother and then the rush was gone. Should have just brought the guy out sooner. He seemed like a faster worker compared to the others. C'mon Deli Delish! You're popping all over Fresno... maybe you're slacking with customer service, efficiency and quality with the expansion? What stands out about this location above the rest, is the owner / manager I'm really not sure what his position is but he usually has paperwork in his hands. This guy comes from the back to take my order because the others were busy making food and doing other things. Then he talks to the guest at the table asking how the food was and wishing them a good day. Then he takes some napkins and hands them to a guy at a table. Deli Delicious is straight up delicious, living up to it's name. I've been here a few times already and each time my food has been awesome. I'm a hot sandwich type of guy and I'm addicted to their chipotle chicken sandwich. I highly recommend it. I get it on sourdough with everything on it. Sandwiches here come in 4 sizes and the prices for each size are the same for every sandwich with the 12 inch priced at about 10 bucks. Kinda steep but worth the money. You're pretty much paying a buck an inch here. This is always a lunch stop for me and this place gets busy at lunchtime but the service is pretty fast considering the anount of business they get. Speaking of service, the workers are always really friendly. Apparently, it's under new ownership. The previous owner was a really sweet lady that was very much involved in making sure service was fast, accurate, and friendly. She will be missed by the regulars here I'm sure. So far, neither service or quality have suffered under the new ownership. So if you're in the area and in the mood for an awesome sandwich this is your place. When this place first opened I swear it was the best Deli Delicious around. There was a woman running the front end at the time who was incredibly friendly and upbeat and it was infectious. They always put ample toppings and condiments on the sandwiches and they were always toasted perfectly. At some point, whether under new ownership or something, a man started running the front end. The quality of the sandwiches started declining and the service did as well. The toppings and condiments started getting skimpy and you can see that the employees are not happy to be there. This last time was the final straw for me. The order was wrong and the toppings were once again skimpy. The man running the front end and register was not even wearing a mask nor is there a plexiglass barrier. During this pandemic, if this guy does not care enough about public safety to simply wear a mask then I guarantee that he doesn't care enough to make sure all food prep surfaces get disinfected regularly. I have only ordered once before from this location and have ordered from others around town. My go to is the chicken salad. It was lunch rush on Friday and I ordered over the phone. I walked in lots of people standing around to get their order. As soon as I walked in cashier called out my name I'm assuming he's the owner. I walked up and paid for my salad. He then seemed overwhelmed with the execution of orders I moved to the side to wait for the salad that was done. Chicken salad w everything no sprouts. As I go to open up my bag I noticed the container was empty and light. You could tell they put sprouts and left some behind after removing them. I was in such disappointment that I ended up going to panda to order food and didn't even touch the salad. Not only was the serving size small but the lettuce was pale and not fully green as all the other salads I have ordered from the other deli delicious. I was so mad and sad.
