I will admit it was a bit out of the way compared to where I live but I really enjoyed the food. When you enter the restaurant it's very clean and all of the items are displayed nicely. The staff was very attentive and quickly greeted me once I entered. I ordered a bowl with chicken with a side of pita bread and garlic sauce. I really like the garlic sauce as it wasn't too strong. First time trying this place out for lunch and went with the Spicy Garlic Chicken bowl that came with rice and veggies with extra spicy garlic sauce. Both the chicken and veggies were tender and rice was seasoned but I had hoped their sauce would had been more. For the amount of sauce that covered the chicken and the extra sauce on top you can barely taste the hint of spice and garlic. The whole bowl was very mild in flavor. I may go back and try a different sauce and see how that goes. This establishment is one but there's two entrance doors, since they share with Dusty Buns so there's plenty of seatings. We have come here a handful of times and each time the food is pretty good but it can be inconsistent. The falafel in the falafel pita was over fried and so a little hard to chew and not tender. The pita was a little tough and not soft as you'd expect (it was only soft like 1-2 times that we've been there). The chicken is a hit or miss with it being overcooked. This latest time, our fries came out late and tasted double fried. When we went this past week, we stood there at the register for over 5 minutes. We rang the bell and then a staff member saw us but we waited another 5 minutes. It wasn't until we went to the other side before they acknowledged us. Probably because they were busy cooking other food and didn't have enough staff to help us. Then it took another 20-30 minutes to get our food. This place surprisingly shares a space with the Butter Buns although you can't tell from the outside. Inside is spacious and there are really nice large tables with wooden booths, perfect for our traveling family. There were also two high chairs. The tables were far enough apart that I didn't worry too much about my toddler throwing things off our table. The food itself was okay, it took awhile longer than I expected for the wraps, and my pita wasn't warm but my MIL's was. It was stuffed and the ratio wasn't quite what I expected. I was hoping it would come out looking like a burrito but I ended up eating most of the innards with a fork and skipping on most of the pita bread. The chicken shawarma was so tender though. I like that they offer a lot of sauces including the usual tzatziki and garlic sauce but also fatoush. There was a dying smoke alarm beeping that was annoying that no one else seemed to notice. We found this place through Yelp. It's pretty new, less than a year old. We ordered at the counter and the staff member was warm and friendly. We ordered two beef and lamb gyros. I tried the feta sauce which was so delicious! My husband went traditional with the tzatziki sauce which he loved. Both sandwiches were well prepared and everything tasted very fresh. I need to remember to ask for no cucumbers, but they were chopped big enough for me to take them off of the sandwich. I ate mine like a salad and peeled off pita as I ate.
