I ordered a custom vegan sandwich & it was delicious. I would love if they offered vegan meat and cheese. I struggled with ordering delivery. The Toast app was showing delivery as unavailable. DoorDash did not allow any notes, even though they did not offer things like hummus or pickles as options for the custom sandwich. They were missing on the website & Toast app as well. I was grateful that when I called they said I could order "for pickup" and they would mark it for delivery. They made sure I received the delivery even though I had to order by phone.

This place was so good!!! It's a small shop tucked into the alleyway behind Lobster West and other stores. There was limited seating so we took our sandwiches to the beach and it was a great picnic :) A couple of other people also came by to pick up pre-ordered sandwiches and take them to-go. He got the pastrami melt with sprouts ($1.50 extra), banana peppers (free) and jalapeños (free). I got the Italian Torpedo with banana peppers. Both were so good, literally 5/5!! In my experience, the sandwiches are on the smaller side compared to other places so I would say the portion is perfect for one person. I'm so glad I discovered this place and I would definitely go here again!

It's in between other establishments but if you hear the French music playing, you're in the right place. Seating can be limited, so heads up. Give it a try!

Deli-iCloud is a great spot for lunch and I'm sure frequented by people working in the area. Unless you know it is there you most likely wouldn't see it as it is tucked into an alley of small shops. The sandwich was good and the bread was fresh. I also had a cup of chili which was very good and always available. The service was quick even for a small shop.

From Chicago, looking for a sandwich shop in La Jolla, found this one on maps. Located in a cute little cluster of shops, we ordered and sat down outside in the alleyway. In less than 5 minutes our sandwiches came out. I ordered the Italian Italian Torpedo (4/5) which is an upscale Italian sub on ciabatta, with a hearty helping of mustard and very light Italian dressing. The size was large, could barely finish! Overall the ambiance was good, but the outdoor seating had a bad smell, like it was garbage day or something. Overall I would recommend.

The location of this restaurant is cool, nice tucked away alleyway, but the food was not "delicious". We got the lumberjack and reuben. The lumberjack was decent, the reuben was terrible, not much taste or flavor... very bland. And the center meat was a little cold, maybe microwaved? The service was really good.

OMG! I just had the best sandwich at Deli-icious!! Try the Turkey Mex, with turkey, melted jack cheese and spicy green chili's on a soft french roll with all the crunchy fresh veggie toppings. They were busy when I came in, but it is worth the wait. My room mate works in La Jolla and goes there almost every day. I had to try it! The food is really fresh, not greasy AT ALL and the guys that work there are cute! Oh, the mocha latte was really good too..better than any other place in town! read more

This is the best deli in downtown 92037. This is a family run business and Jeff is behind the counter every single morning. Tanya works the register. This is a legit family business. If you want high quality sandwiches and quick order turnaround.. I have been going here for the past seven plus years. This place is a hidden gem in downtown La Jolla. The "Prospect" and daily soup offering is by far my current fave. The veggie sandwiches are all really ridiculously good. They use superior meats to create any deli desire. read more

I love this place. I have been eating here twice a week for the last 4 years of my life since i started to work in the area. This place has amazing sandwiches some of my favorites are the Tuna, LBT and Lumber Jack. There ingredients are alway fresh and tasty. The prices are very reasonable considering you are in La Jolla, the only place you can get a sandwich under $10 dollars. If you work in the village it is great since they delivery all day long, strarting with breakfast at 7am! They have the best breakfast burrito, egg whites, avocado, tomato, jack on a wheat tortilla, super healthy and yummy (So-Cal).I can eat this every single morning. I would recommend this place to any one that would like to grab a fast inexpensive bite. read more

Omg I tried the goat cheese, basil,bacon panini..best thing I've tried in long time. The flavor was just incredible and nothing overpowered, all flavors blended nice. Every bite was delicious!! Little place tucked away. Great lunch spot if you have been tooling around the area. I steer clear of paninis based on the soggy aspect of the bread. But damn if both our orders ( buffalo chicken and turkey avocado) stayed crunchy and yet soft at the same time and were tasty until the last bite. Very friendly service- woman at the counter on the phone while we walked in an made a point to smile us to acknowledge our presence and our waiting order. Due to limited seating you may have to get it to go. read more

I came here based on the reviews , I bought a sandwich and a coke , almost $10.00 , my sandwich had 3 slices of meat and was pretty bland . Almost all bread , like most of the pictures on here , stingy with the meat , and pricey . Kinda felt like a picnic Sandwhich for kids . I have no idea why this place has so many stars , the paninis in the pics look like peanut butter and jelly thin , lol , looks like almost all office people order here for deliveries because it's convenient , but go to Sandwhich Club down the street , way bigger sandwiches ! read more

I'm sure the product is great at this place, but unfortunately the service is horrible. Ordered food through Yelp! 24 Food delivery, which this place allows you to order online and have delivered. Thought it would be a nice gesture to have lunch delivered to my wife who was working on a Saturday. After about 40 minutes since they confirmed receiving the order, I tried calling the place about 12 times to see where the food was. Almost an hour has passed and my wife's lunch break was over, so she didn't eat anything because I told her I'll have food delivered to her. This place still didn't pick up the phone, and they're open according to the website and they received the order. Ended up cancelling the order through Yelp! and getting my money back. I'm sure going in there is a different experience, but if you're not staffed to do food deliveries then don't offer them in the first place. read more

I love this place!!!! Every summer my family comes down to La Jolla and we make a point to get our lunch from Deli-Icious. We were fortunate enough to try out the new menu and it was to die for. I had the Honey Berry salad and the chicken was so tender while the dressing really complimented the cranberries. It's nice to see that the business is being run by an adorable family. This is a wonderful deli with very good food. I usually eat there two to three times a week. I often get the salad made just the way I like it with extra ingredients at my request and a fantastic homemade dressing. The sandwiches are also very good. The owners and staff are quite personable. Also, the prices for La Jolla are very reasonable. I highly recommend this deli. read more

Best deli ever. I've been coming here a really long time now and I am yet to be disappointed. The sandwiches are all phenomenal, especially the TNT Tuna, #23. It can get super busy around noon since it seems like they really cater to the lunch-time business crowd, but the friendly employees and quick service generally make up for it. Kind of a locals spot, but still a great lunch spot if you're in the area. read more

Took pics and took a bite and my consensus is that I was not a fan of this sandwich because I really prefer smoked turkey and not plain turkey. My pup usually doesn't like smoked turkey or unfresh meats but she liked this plain roast turkey, which means it's more likely fresh and pass her approval. She also ate the contents of the sandwich sans the bread and onions of course. The oatmeal cookies were a real treat and lived up to the hype, kind of gooey, yummy and good for you...hence oats is fiber! As a cheese aficionado, this shop is not really a cheese shop with no abundant cheese selections. The shop should just be named sandwich shop, since sandwiches and candies seem to be their cash cows. If you're looking for a cheese shop, this isn't the place, but it might the place for a sandwich. Recommend

I would say this place is a lil over a 4 star place. The beach bowl is an açaí bowl on top of Greek yogurt. I thought it was a little too tangy for my taste. I think having either the yogurt or açaí bowl works better than mixing the two.

The La Jollan for breakfast and a turkey avo panini for lunch... you cant go wrong! Delivery service available any day is even better. The only reason I didn't give five stars is I believe that they should have something for locals and loyal customers.... I order from here at least 3 times a week or more and so do the people I work with... so maybe a loyalty card or something. Just saying there is other options in La Jolla (something the owner should think about). Besides that great, quick service. The delivery guy during the week days is very efficient. The sandwiches are almost always spot on.. Popped in on a saturday and they were closed in the middle of the day. I thought it was unordinary, but sometimes thats how it goes with small mom and pop shops.. I still support small businesses whenever possible but I was disappointed due to fighting for parking and finding out they were closed.. Amazing!! I come here for lunch multiple times per week. Their food is sensational. The flavors are delicious and everything is always fresh. The staff is wonderful. Not to mention they have gluten free bread and can make any sandwich gluten free! My favorites include the chefs choice, chicken Caesar club, and buffalo chicken panini! Yum!! Got a Lumberjack and a Chef's Choice. Mine was Lumberjack was ant it was huge. I couldn't finish it. I dont think anyone with a regular stomach can eat it all. It was pretty satisfying. Fresh, tasty and felt different than big box store sandwiches. I am glad I stopped by to this little shop. Owner was pretty cool too. Next time I m trying Nutella Sunrise. Lol. read more
