I'm gonna keep this one simple. The reason I like Alfredo's so much and choose it at times over other nearby options is because it's the best tasting thin crust pizza in the area. More than half the time I prefer a thin crust and their pizza has great thin crust paired with a tangy pizza sauce. It's a little more expensive than a papa John's or dominos, but that's understandable as a locally owned business in the hellish, non business friendly, Los Angeles. Good to know is that this place doesn't really sit anyone, so you're going to have a better experience bringing it home to have something to eat while watching the dodgers. Lastly, my interactions with staff have always been pleasant. If it wasn't, I wouldn't bother. As long as they keep being friendly and serving the thin crust pies, I'll be buying! Located in Mid-City at the corner of Pico Blvd & Hauser Blvd, it's a tiny place in a small mini-mall with giant ovens and nice owners. Alfredo is always there, and the quality is consistently great. Fresh generous high-quality ingredients - delicious tomato sauce (usually I ask for them to put a little extra on the pie). I prefer to pick up myself but they deliver as well. I do not have a photo of the turkey sub I ate because I INHALED IT. It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. The bread alone was fantastic. This is a hidden gem!! From what I saw all their food is freshly made. I called in a pizza order and arrived early. I'm so glad we found this place on our way back from the beach. First of, the owner, Mr. Alfredo is absolutely amazing. His customer service is above and beyond. For example, when we came in it was just us so I had close the door because we were cold. I felt bad because I'm sure it was hot in the kitchen. Later on some customers came in and when they left the door was left open. Mr. Alfredo asked if I wanted it closed. That is one observant owner. He frequently checked in on us to see if we were alright. Most of all, you visibly saw him and his staff wash hands. For example, he handled a customer's money--he washed his hands. He came from the kitchen--he washed his hands. I can guarantee you everything is clean! As for the food, DELICIOUS! The pizza was cooked just right. Flavourful. The pasta cooked to perfection. Pizza is my favorite food, but my life is a shock when I was diagnosed 25 years ago with celiac disease (gluten intolerance). I then started on a long quest to find the best gluten-free pizza, searching all over Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York and even Italy. The early years the pizza crust was more cardboard than pizza. As more and more people became diagnosed or suffered from gluten intolerance, the gluten-free pizza got better and better. While Alfredo's pizza is not quite Pizzana, Appolonia or 786 Degrees, for the price and wonderfully thin tasty crust and delicious sauce with Pepperoni, I have to say sitting and wolfing down this 10" pizza while chatting with the young woman handling the orders was deserving of 5 stars. They had some interesting specialty pizzas that I will have to try. The tiny parking area is a squeeze but worth the effort. I definitely will return. We came here today after trying to get pizza at Best Fcken Pizza but they are having electrical problems so have been closed for 1-2 weeks. I yelped for a gluten free pizza spot nearby and Alfredo's came up via search so we gave it a shot, and are soooo happy we did. It was truly the best f*cken gluten free pizza I've had in a while! I wished it was larger than 10" but I understand they usually only come in small pizzas. Also, I'm usually not a huge fan of vegan cheese, but my hubby wanted it on half of my pizza and I was surprised to admit that it was rather delicious. I usually don't like the taste of vegan cheese but the one they used was really good. My father-in-law ordered a regular pizza with regular dairy cheese and he was very happy with his as well. Ishmael was super kind and service was wonderful. We will def be back - maybe tomorrow !!! The wait was a little long because they had multiple take out orders to fill so I would def recommend calling in your order ahead of time. We also met Alfredo and he was lovely! Made an impromptu stop here after picking up my boyfriend from a nearby shop. We each ordered the chicken parmesan dinner which comes with two garlic rolls. Let me first say, this is the first place I've been in LA where the amount of food matches the price!!! The serving was huge, and even better - it tasted delicious too!! The sauce was just how I like it, the perfectly bubbled cheese was A+, and the chicken and noodles were also cooked very well. Really disappointed by this place given the glowing reviews, I don't understand what people's quality bar is for pizza. Ordered a cheese and pepperoni pizza for delivery and it was just OK, not great by a long shot. Crust was hard and cracking, not at all like the reviews said. I've had better frozen pizzas from the store. Worst thing was the garlic knots - they weren't knots at all. They were Hawaiian buns coated in herbs and baked in the oven. I could have done that at home. It did arrive quickly, so no complaints there, and nothing was egregiously bad per se, it's just not as great as you would think given the reviews.
