Food is always phenomenal. The service is always kind and helpful whenever I go. My favorite is the environment and how it gives a mom and pop comforting feeling. You can never go wrong with Alfredo's Pizza!

Amazing! You won't regret! I went with a decent sized group that squeezed into the small pizza place with two tables inside and a couple outside. I do not have a photo of the turkey sub I ate because I INHALED IT. It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. The bread alone was fantastic. Lightly crunchy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. The Italian dressing complemented the turkey and greens perfectly. My friends said the pizza was fantastic and the calzone was one of the best they has ever had. Please come visit this family owned business! Even the people eating outside were like "It's good right?" to us because they know it's amazing.

This is a hidden gem!! From what I saw all their food is freshly made. I called in a pizza order and arrived early. I sat inside to wait for it and I saw that he was making all the pizzas that were being called in. He definitely is a multi tasked. As I was waiting he was working on a couple pizzas, cooking some paste that smelled amazing and chopping up my salad. I received my order and let me say the food was so good! I had a pizza and Greek salad. It was late night close to closing time so I couldn't stay there and eat my freshly made pizza. But the ambience looks very chill inside and they also have outside seating.

Alfredo's empty restaurant ~1 hour before closing.

Unclear why I was refused service. My gf was craving fries while I wanted a slice, so we compromised and I got her food first. Before even going inside Alfredo's I'm being shooed away from the tables because of the other food I'd just bought (which I had no intention of taking inside, see photo). Even after clarifying I wished to buy pizza and asking for service/if I could at least eat pizza there, the guy in the restaurant just kept repeating "No, no... I'll get fired" and refused to even look at me. Not sure if it's because it was an off Thursday for the guy, or because I'm black.. but if the guy was so rude it's hard to tell, that's poor service enough.

My favorite item on the Menu. The Alfredo's Burger Special with Garlic Fries. Always a 5 burger!

Absolute love this place! This is my daughter and I's favorite pizza spot! The food is so good and the prices are great! The owner here is very nice and we have gotten along since the first time we came. The cleanliness is always on point here. I always see them coming out and any moment to clean up and reorganize the tables. Will definitely continue to be a loyal customer here!

The owner is very kind ! Two pepperoni slices. Very good.

I'm so glad we found this place on our way back from the beach. First of, the owner, Mr. Alfredo is absolutely amazing. His customer service is above and beyond. For example, when we came in it was just us so I had close the door because we were cold. I felt bad because I'm sure it was hot in the kitchen. Later on some customers came in and when they left the door was left open. Mr. Alfredo asked if I wanted it closed. That is one observant owner. He frequently checked in on us to see if we were alright. Most of all, you visibly saw him and his staff wash hands. For example, he handled a customer's money--he washed his hands. He came from the kitchen--he washed his hands. I can guarantee you everything is clean! As for the food, DELICIOUS! The pizza was cooked just right. Flavourful. The pasta cooked to perfection. Flavourful as well. To top it off, when the food got cold on our table; it remained delicious. Definitely recommend this place. Added to my favourite list. Thank you for your hospitality Mr. Alfredo.

Found my new go-to for pizza! I ordered online and when I called with questions I was met with some of the best customer service possible. Genuinely such a gem to find, because the pizza is actually so good I'm shedding tears as I write this. I got the works special (soo good) and the crust is truly satisfying. Whoever the owner is, they're doing so well!!

Cocktails are slightly limited as it is not a full bar, but they do have options. The frozen Spritz was very flavorful, more fruit forward and would be perfect in a hot day. The Nonna's Medicine had a nice complexity to it with the flavors peeking their heads out at different times through the process. For food we started with the crudo, mussels and grilled oysters. The crudo was very fresh and had a lot going on with it's simplicity. Just a great bite. The mussels were decent but really didn't stand out in any way. The grilled oysters, however, had flavor and texture, with a Parmesan crust on top and the oyster and juice underneath. Very good! For pizza, they are almost like little personal focaccia pizzas, cut into four slices. We tried the mushroom, pepperoni and white pizzas. The mushroom has a garlic cream sauce and herb mix with Parmesan. You definitely get the mushrooms, as they are ample, but they do not over power the pizza. Just a good blend of flavors in each bite. The white comes with Japanese potato, fennel, mozzarella and pesto. Another really great bite with the potatoes not overpowering everything else. Finally, the pepperoni with spicy honey. The spicy honey is more like spicy marinara honey sauce, but it works. Could have used more of that as it came on the side. The pizza itself, with mozzarella and pecorino tasted great. Maybe that focaccia is the move? Overall, De La Nonna did not disappoint. Everything was very nice, and sitting on the patio when the weather is perfect is always a move. I would say to skip the mussels but, everything else, give it a try!

Initially we were going to…read moretry De La Nonna, but they were closed for a special event and we didn't know when we showed up. In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!

Food: - Sicilian: THIS was the winner of the evening! The sauce, mozz, ricotta, and pesto all came together to make a really tasty bite. The edges of the crust were nice and crispy, and you can taste the toasted cheese on the edges of the crust. SO good. We both decided that this was the best flavor of the night. I've had this same pizza at several other spots in LA, but Prime Pizza really executed it well here. So well balanced in textures and flavors, and the crust was both nicely crispy on the edges and fluffy in the center! - Spicy Pep: Solid pizza, and we LOVE when pizza places use cuppy pepperoni. It was a bit spicier than expected, so be prepared to *actually* taste the heat when you order this one! It's tasty and the crust for this one was also banger, but (IMO) pales in comparison to the Sicilian. Would gladly come again for the Sicilian!

Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. And, as native New Yorkers, we know our pizza! Strongly recommended! Can't wait to get another Sicilian pie in the near future with some toppings.

The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part. The online ordering process isn't the easiest and the pick up process feels a bit clunky but the service is great. It's not the most relaxed dining experience but that's part of the charm.
