Thin Slice Cheese (special on website carry out only)
    Nai Q.

Slamming slice of thin crust cheese! I'm usually anti-pizza on set. It's easy, yes, but it tends to make the crew sluggish... slow feet, foggy brains, resets become a drag and take forever. Next thing you know we're going into OT.... B-U-T Lenzini's? Plot twist. It was a straight serotonin boost that SUSTAINED! Key word SUSTAINED! Maybe it was the thin crust? Allowing us to keep it light, lifting spirits, energy stayed clean hours after scarfing down pizza, morale went up! Got the dopamine hit required without the energetic crash. Pure magic. Exactly what was needed for a creative and disciplined day at work! The director loves this place and took an extra beat to make sure she was ordering from the right location, because not all Lenzini's hit the same. Who am I to challenge that level of wisdom? I don't e-v-e-r want to deviate from this experience, so it's official:Cheese pizza, thin crust only. Olympic Blvd Lenzini's located in Palms.

Trying to be Dave Portnoy and trying all Culver pizza spots. Got pick up here today and it was a hit/miss experience. Tried the Cheesy Bread and decided to get a slice while in there to try the pizza. Cheesy Bread (and garlic dipping sauce + ranch) was really good. Deep dish style, plenty of cheese, well baked. Pizza slice was disgusting and inedible. It wasn't pizza crust. The "crust" was so soaked through with grease / crappy to begin with, it was legit soggy bread and I couldn't even pick up the slice. I think 7/11 has better pizza. MIGHT come back to try a full pie, maybe their slices are prepared differently? Cheesy bread was an A+.

They seem to always be running behind on pickup orders. Pizza was hot and fresh very good this time. Service is always mid but the food is usually good.

Good dirty grubbing pizza. If you just want a straight forward nothing fancy but straight forward pizza, Lezini is your shop. The only thing I would harp on is the fact that the ingredients aka toppings are not the freshest for example the olives are the type that come from a can...etc

Bumping these guys up to three stars because the owner made a point to reach out to apologize and refund my money. That kind of accountability speaks well of Lenzini's and makes me want to give them another try.

Best and most affordable pizza in the area! Lenzini's is great. I always order delivery so I haven't interacted with the staff or been into the restaurant itself. But regardless, the pizza is always fresh and delicious. I usually get a cheese pizza with pepperoni and pineapple and well done crust.

Tastes great, very cheesy! crust is a little darker than I would prefer. Tiramisu is really good but for $5.50 it should be a bigger piece than a 2.5" square. Will order from Lenzini's again.

This is my go-to neighborhood pizza spot! I discovered this place one night when I was craving some good cheesy sticks. And let me tell you -- they did not disappoint! I usually call in my pickup order via phone and is typically ready in less than 25 minutes (which is insane). I honestly have never had an issue with their level of customer service. The staff here is super friendly and helpful both on the phone and in-person. Again, the cheesy bread here is incredible and is a must-order. It's perfectly crispy around the edges and the cool ranch, marinara sauce, and special garlic sauce elevate this to the next level. I always make sure to stop by before a movie night in or before a party. It is a guaranteed hit and always manages to disappear before I can get a slice.

On Sunday night, I walked into Lenzini's to purchase a carry-out deal offer. The deal was a large one-topping pizza for $12.99. I walked up to the counter and the person behind the register asked if I was picking up an order. I told her that I wanted to place an order for the large one-topping pizza carry out deal. The full total, with taxes, came up to about $14. I paid for the pizza with my credit card and then waited in my car because she said the pizza would be ready in 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, I went back into the restaurant and had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my pizza. As I sat at one of the tables, a male worker handed me my pizza, I thanked him and left. To my shock and surprise, the man who had handed me my pizza was rushing toward my driver door as I was putting on my seat belt and told me that I "didn't pay for the pizza." I immediately told him that I did pay for the pizza with the woman behind the register. He turned away. I then rushed back into the restaurant, trying my best not to make a scene and asked the woman at the register what was going on and how horrifying it was to have a GROWN MAN chase me down because he assumed I didn't pay for the pizza, even though he handed it to me, thanked me and waited approximately three minutes before seeking me out in a dark parking lot. The whole interaction was unnecessary, unprofessional and scary. Even though I love the pizza, the ordeal that I experienced isn't worth it.

This pizza was perfect for picking up for the beach!! The cashier was even so sweet to run out to the parking lot because we didn't grab our Ranch dressing. They also had some yummy sandwiches and wing options!!

Cocktails are slightly limited as it is not a full bar, but they do have options. The frozen Spritz was very flavorful, more fruit forward and would be perfect in a hot day. The Nonna's Medicine had a nice complexity to it with the flavors peeking their heads out at different times through the process. For food we started with the crudo, mussels and grilled oysters. The crudo was very fresh and had a lot going on with it's simplicity. Just a great bite. The mussels were decent but really didn't stand out in any way. The grilled oysters, however, had flavor and texture, with a Parmesan crust on top and the oyster and juice underneath. Very good! For pizza, they are almost like little personal focaccia pizzas, cut into four slices. We tried the mushroom, pepperoni and white pizzas. The mushroom has a garlic cream sauce and herb mix with Parmesan. You definitely get the mushrooms, as they are ample, but they do not over power the pizza. Just a good blend of flavors in each bite. The white comes with Japanese potato, fennel, mozzarella and pesto. Another really great bite with the potatoes not overpowering everything else. Finally, the pepperoni with spicy honey. The spicy honey is more like spicy marinara honey sauce, but it works. Could have used more of that as it came on the side. The pizza itself, with mozzarella and pecorino tasted great. Maybe that focaccia is the move? Overall, De La Nonna did not disappoint. Everything was very nice, and sitting on the patio when the weather is perfect is always a move. I would say to skip the mussels but, everything else, give it a try!

In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food.
