Ehh I've had way better pizza, we came because we were in a hurry to get something to eat and they had a sign that advertised pizza by the slice sold here. Been going to this spot for over 10 years and I cannot stress enough how GREAT this place is. Maybe the only place in LA with a reasonable buy-one-get-one pizza deal that has been going on FOREVER! The food is delicious and they're always open to making customizations (adding or removing something from a sandwich, making a pizza crispy or adding extra toppings, etc.). The pizza toppings are top tier- I highly recommend adding jalapeños, mushrooms, and eggplant to the pizza AND asking them to make it CRISPY. Also their ranch is amazing if you're a pizza and ranch person like me. The service is wonderful and the vibes are always great from the team. Look man I don't usually take the time to write reviews about pizza places, especially because there are so many mediocre ones out here in Los Angeles. I love pizza just like the next guy but I love pizza even more when it's made with care, love, fresh ingredients, and amazing customer service. The prices weren't too bad either. I got a meat lovers large pizza, and a supreme large pizza, along with fried mozzarella sticks. I think the total was about 35 bucks, the owner threw in two free Coca-Cola classics. What a guy. Now about the pizza: A nice thin crust not too thin as to be crispy, but not too thick as to be doughy. Perfectly in the middle. There wasn't too much crust meaning the toppings , the sauce and the cheese went all the way as far as it could go while leaving at least a quarter inch of a crust. I find that a lot of pizza places leave an extra large crust so they don't have to put on more tomato sauce and cheese. Which is a travesty in my opinion. Now onto the toppings, absolutely fantastic toppings all the classic meats all the classic veggies, and all the right proportions. This is a pizza that I can stand by 100,000,000%. Next time I need a pizza I'm going to Cicero's on La Cienega. The owners were great, prices were fair and the pizza was absolutely out of this world. do yourself a favor don't fuck this one up.............. go get some pizza!!!!!! read more

I catered from Ciccero Pizza and it was SO great!! The food was delicious, the catering experience was easy, and I had an overall positive experience. In a time like now, I always try to opt shopping and catering local. It was a pleasure doing business here. We ordered Ceasar salad, baked ziti, chicken alfredo, and garlic bread. Ali helped me out and gave generous portions, even giving me a discount with some of the combined orders. He was hospitable and kind, like talking and working with your neighborhood friend. For reference for 80 people, we ordered 3 full pans of salad, 3 full pans of ziti, 2 full pans of chicken alfredo, and 80 garlic bread. There was a lot of leftovers, I think we could have fed 100 people. One downside is that it doesn't come with plates, utensils, and napkins, but requires an additional cost. Poor Service - The phone order taker was very rude (Male). First I would have placed the order online, though their website wasn't working. He didn't care about that, as he proceeded to rush into what I wanted to order. As I was placing my order, he was very pushy and continued to rush me to complete my sizeable order. Of course you want to go over everything to make sure it's right. It was a pretty large one. Once I finished placing the order, he tells me "I'm outside the delivery area, Thank-you, Click". Happy to say they know how to bake a great crust. I liked the mushroom pizza and plain cheese, although the mushroom dough was a bit thin and flimsy in the center. Gluten and dairy-free are available (although this chica needs the real deal). They piled the veggies on top of the dairy free pie. They feature a lot of vegetarian pizzas. A pasta and sandwich comes with soup or salad and a drink. You get garlic bread to soak up your pasta sauce. I would like to try a calzone and hot sandwich next time. Technically, it's well put-together; the ingredients are fresh, it's cooked just right, and they even put effort into giving you a lot of toppings if you order them. But the ingredients are exactly what you get and nothing more, like if you bought them at the grocery store, chopped them up, and put them on top. It doesn't seem like any spice or anything is added. The dough is flavorless and the cheese doesn't have any character to it. It's not bad, but it's not good, either. The pizza just... is. Walking into this establishment might feel a bit discouraging but don't mind the homeless man directing parking, you can't complain for a man trying to make an honest living. It's like walking through a worm hole, you're in Los Angeles one second and the very next you're in a pizzeria in Italy! I placed an order of a large pepperoni which I may add is on special for $11 (pick up only) along with spaghetti. Had to order something safe and basic since it's my first time. if you can't make a pepperoni pie and spaghetti than there's no need to try their special pies. The wait was only a little over 10 minutes, but the ambiance here is very relaxing and soothing so I didn't mind the wait. Plus who can complain when all you smell is pizza pies being made. My observations while waiting was that it's a fav for the locals here. You have many people walking in to order just a slice. The time has came, Armando shouted, "Ya esta la pikza"! This pizza most definitely passes the cheese pull! The moment you sink your teeth in it you feel such an amazing crunch! And it's not a crunch from burnt dough but from a pie baked to perfection! The minimum says 12$ on Yelp, but is actually 20$ FYI. Moving on...the pizzas are a good size for individuals but the cheese tastes worse than government cheese. The garlic bread was burnt and the cheese bread was inedible, disgusting may be a better word. The meatball sauce tasted like just tomato purée out of a can, and you could taste the can. The meatballs are not flavored or good, at all. So, the takeaway is, don't do it. Go elsewhere, have patience to wait for better, whatever, just don't eat here. read more
