Thanks for replying about my review. I loved this place but lately everything we order is messed up. I am allergic to eggs and when i say no mayo I really have to have no mayo. I ask for oil and vinegar and you give me a dry sandwich. I will try again maybe in a few weeks but its become a hassle to call back and complain and wait 30 min for a new sandwich. The girl who takes my orders Friday nights is sometimes rude and seems to not care about what we say either. Customer service is key. read more

Beware - the delivery driver charged more than the order total. Upon calling them they advised that the delivery driver would be back to refund the overcharge. That didn't happen. The delivery drivers scam their customers and management doesn't seem to care. read more

This pizza place will get 4 stars because they use real chicken for their Parmesan Heros and dishes. I hate going into to some of these other pizzerias in town and receiving a frozen processed breaded chicken patty covered in sauce and cheese. read more

Used to have the best pizza in the area. They are either cutting costs and putting less sauce on the pies or a different person is making them. In order to receive a pie comparable to what they used to be, you must ask for extra sauce. I will no longer order a pie without that bc I'm not willing to jeopardize getting a piece of dough with cheese and a speckling of sauce. It is great dough/ crust, but still, c'mon guys! This place has about the best pizza in the Dover or Rockaway area. The slices of pizza are 99 cents and they taste great. Ate lunch there recently and the spaghetti and meat sauce entree with garlic bread. You will not find a better deal anywhere. With drink I was out the door for less than $10 and I took half of the spaghetti home with me. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Love the pizza. Best ever. Just the right amount of saltiness from the cheese and perfect amount of sauce. Best pizza in the area. They have dollar slices which is great for the kids. I have to give it to them, they truly care about the customer. I placed an order with specific toppings & when I arrived to pick it up, it was wrong. There had been a miscommunication between their pizza makers. My family is hungry, I tell them don't worry, I'll take it after they repeatedly asked me if they could make a brand new pie to my liking, the way I ordered it but I refused because I didn't want to wait and give them more work. Unfortunately my family wasn't too happy so I said , "fine, I'll keep this one & order a new plain pie" I go back inside order a plain pie. They immediately ask me again to exchange my old pizza but I refused. I was willing to pay for an extra pie, no problem. Well with out me knowing they generously just brought it to me & refused payment & let me keep the last pie. It was such a great representation of quality customer service. I'm not one to typically submit reviews unless utterly awesome or terrible so I read reviews before making my decision on this one. It was the overcharge on delivery review that caught my attention. I've been a customer of Delizia's since they've been in Dover. The last several deliveries had me thinking what I paid was too much $$ for what had been ordered. I finally questioned the driver with my newest order. The handwritten receipt had the amount on it yet after the driver called the restaurant I found I was overcharged about $5. While I never verbally questioned previous orders, this one being off leads me to believe the others were also inflated. I dont think most people question a dollar here or three bucks there ... so if a company is inflating it's not noticeable to individuals. However add up the small dollar amounts across the month and it becomes a nice plus for them. Food more recently has been hit or miss but didnt keep me away. The $$ issue makes it a miss though. read more

First time i tried this place over a year ago service was really bad. Tried it again today. Thought it would have change after a year and it got worse. Not even a greet. I stood there and even thou i tried getting their attention no one seemed to care. Walked out. I am not a regular customer. Like i said last time i went in it was over a year ago and even then i wasn't a regular. Very disappointed won't give this place a 3rd chance. Delivery is excellent. They repeat your order and it is delivered hot and on time. We ordered lasagna that was very good and it came with a large side salad (or soup) and a loaf of bread. We also ordered a sub and pizza slices. Well worth the price. Service is friendly and helpful read more

This is my 3rd time ordering from here..I usually order from Anna Marie's in Wharton.. But Anna Marie's is now closed on Mondays so I had to resort to here.. I took a chance and ordered a ham&cheese sandwich here& it was delicious..First 2 times I ordered here were great but today I decided to order something new& whoever took my order today was very rude.. If I'm placing an order for delivery I want to know how much it's going to cost and how long it's going to take to get here.. Whoever took my order today gave me lip about actually making them work hard.. It's your job to give me info about what kind of drinks you have and it's YOUR JOB to tell me the delivery time and cost... Step your customer service game up!!! DO YOUR JOB!! read more

At .99 cents a slice, you get what you pay for. I"ve also seen them raise the price to over $2.00 a slice on fireworks night when it is packed with people. To me, that is a poor business tactic to generate more funds from people just because of fireworks night. I tried their pizza and will not go back. Very bland. The other Delizia in the Ledgwood mall is also not the greatest, their pizza was too salty as well as their other food. Want great pizza, go to M&S right down the street. They've got the very best sandwiches, calzones and everything and all the cooks are Italians. M&S has the very best pizza in town! They use the highest quality cheeses on their pies, so they are not able to charge .99 cents a slice. Expect to pay over $1.50 a slice but it is well worth it! I've eatin at M&S hundreds of times at an 18 minute drive everyday. That goes to show you how great their food is! Don't go to M&S 2. It's the Original M&S. And you also have to order one of their famous Eggplant Parm Sandwiches! If you're not into Eggplant, go for a Chicken Parm! Remember..you always get what you pay for!....I've eaten at M&S over 300 times and was only disappointed once out of 300 times and that was only because I got their when they were closing one day, and the old man told me that they were so busy all day that they ran out of bread, and I was dying for one of their famous eggplant parm sandwiches!
