I highly recommend Della Honda. The service and communication was unlike any other dealership I've ever worked with. They were prompt answering questions and were always professional and friendly and never pressured me. I found a great deal on a used Ridgeline , but I live 2.5 hours away in NH which always makes it tricky when buying a used car. They went the extra mile to make sure everything was in order before I made the trip. Oh boy was it worth it. I drove away with my ideal vehicle in great condition without a single hitch. The icing on the cake was that they let my double coat Bohemian Shepard wait inside where it was cool while I signed documents. Not thrilled with this particular experience. My wife brought our 2018 CRV in for some recall work and to have a noise checked that was coming from the front right tire of the vehicle. The recall work went fine, but the inspection of the noise led to the brakes. There was noted "uneven" wear on the front right brake. They noted that the pad used was an aftermarket pad, and then recommended a complete replacement of ALL pads and rotors, and even told my wife and I (on two occasions no less, once in person and once on the phone) that the vehicle wasn't necessarily safe to drive. The job was quoted at bit over $1000. We decided to seek out a second opinion and went with a long established mechanic in our town. He inspected all brakes - pads, rotors, calipers - and noted that nothing was wrong with anything, other than maybe needing a clean and lube job. He informed us that the brakes had a good year of life left in all of them. I've gotta say, that's some sketchy stuff on Della Honda's part. Aside from factory recall work, they will NOT be receiving any business from us going forward. Even then, we will likely seek out another dealership, first. 100% DO NOT recommend this service. Recommending an unnecessary $1000 job?! Seriously?! The Della Bellas need to do better! read more

Honda offers 2 free services within the first 2 years of ownership. I bought the vehicle new on Jan 10, 2023. I made a service appointment for Jan 8, 2024. However, the service department called me just before to tell me they wouldn't perform the complimentary oil change because the service required light wasn't lit. I told her the vehicle was more than 1 year old (was in transit since 12/23 2022) but she said they don't care about the age of the oil. Only that the light is lit. The car's manual says the oil must be changed every year at most and the oil manufacturers all say within a year but apparently Della doesn't care. I guess a new way of saving money and not taking care of their customers. I finally changed the oil myself today 2/1/24 with 7700 miles and the oil still said 30% to go. No service light was lit. So much for required services are complimentary in the first 2 years! It was one of the reasons I bought the Ridgeline. Hate that they didn't keep their promises. I recently brought my Honda to Della to have it inspected and an oil change since it is still under the warranty I bought for it four years ago and because I have had good service there in the past. I was told that my front brakes were at 15% and so should be fixed for over $350.00. When I informed the service person that I would have my mechanic look at the brakes first, she told me that my mechanic would just cob up the job and wouldn't be able to do it correctly. I informed her that my mechanic is actually a Honda certified mechanic and that I totally trusted him. At that point, she backed off trying to sell me a service that wasn't needed at that time. While paying for the service done on my car, the woman at the register told me how she had totaled her car because it had bad brakes and she hydroplaned on the highway. Even I know the brakes aren't why she hydroplaned and totaled her car. Today I brought my Honda to my mechanic to check the brakes and he told me they are at 25% and will be good for many months more to come. He didn't charge me so he saved me $350.00! I will not be going back to Della Honda for service anymore since I can no longer trust what they tell me - especially since it was a woman trying to take advantage of me - a woman! read more

I brought my Honda Fit in to get my brake light fixed. They claimed this couldn't be done without lifting the hatch door, which is seized shut, and that I would need to replace that first. They told me it'd cost me $800 for this, which I rejected. When I tried to pick up the car, they charged me $80 for labor, which I paid. I took the car to a mom&pop repair. They removed the tail light panel from the inside and fixed the light for $10. Summary: Della Honda tried to rob me of $800. They successfully robbed me of $80. Do NOT use these people. They're untrustworthy. I'd go so far as to say they're criminal. read more

Had an offer of $24,000 for my car, when I got there I had to stand around for two hours. Never offered a seat. When the manager finally took the 10 minutes, he was rude and dismissive. His offer was also $10,000 below the initial offer. Claimed there is no market for the Accord sport, even though there are several on the lot with much higher milage, and not in as good condition. The cars they have are over priced and have more that 50,000 miles on them. Will never do business with any Della dealerships. read more

Friendly staff, but extremely over priced and their service is questionable. Oil change, tire rotation, brake inspection, tire pressure check, and new wiper blades totaled $144 with $90 just in labor. They charged $9 to install new wiper blades... Come on! If I knew that, I would have put them on, myself! Sat in the waiting room for two hours. All of these services including the wiper blades costs a total of $20 at Monro Tire. At Monro you watch them service your vehicle through a glass window too, so you know they're doing things correctly. Much faster, as well! You wait no more than 30 mins! Moral of the story, don't go to Della Honda. Even if you've purchased your vehicle through them. read more

They could have killed me... go somewhere else! I had an absolutely terrible experience at Della Honda after being a loyal customer for multiple years, the previous owner of my vehicle was my father who only ever brought it to Della as well. I swore by them for a long time until this happened. I was headed across country to Florida from New York and I decided it was a good idea to have my Ridgeline inspected before I left to ensure my safety, as it is an older vehicle '07 with higher mileage 150k+. After working on some minor problems with the brakes and a "full 50 point inspection" I left with peace of mind for my big trip. After a few hours of driving I noticed a screeching coming from one of my wheels so I pulled off the highway and into the nearest mechanic shop. After 5-7 hours of sitting in the shop because of the last minute appointment, the mechanic came out and said my brake calipers were never even bolted back together... which caused the calipers to fall apart inside my wheel and it was scraping against the wheel well. The mechanic was FURIOUS when I told him I had JUST came from the dealership before leaving on my trip. He told me that if the caliper had caught the wheel and had I not pulled over I would have been off the road and rolling into the ditch! (And yes he and I have documentation to back it all up) I could have easily died or been seriously injured or injured/killed others along the busy highway. I'm so glad I was alone and did not have family on board. I was going highway speeds keeping up with traffic the entirety of the trip, luckily I was able to get off the road in time before my life could have abruptly ended... Let me repeat that AGAIN! They let me drive away without even bolting my brakes back together...! Not even a drop of Loctite on the bolts either. Not only did they almost cost me my life but also lots of time and money spent in the next shop that stayed late to correct Della's mistakes and get me on the road for my trip, as well as an unneeded night spent in a close by hotel! My 24 hour drive turned into a 40 hour shit show, costing me a lot of money, inconvenience, and almost my life. I literally would have been better off not even going in at all for a "safety check" which made my truck a ticking time bomb. Now I understand that people make mistakes but that's just unacceptable in my book, as brakes are one of the most important things on a vehicle for safety! They are supposed to double check things like that and they didn't even do it once... I get it people forget things, I do it all the time so I was pretty understanding for the magnitude of the situation. After calling Della to tell them what happened, they were NOT willing AT ALL to help offset my unnecessary shop and rooming expenses due to their utter negligence! They WERE on the other hand willing to give me back my money for "providing a service" which they never even did in the first place. They did not fix my vehicle at all, in fact they made it worse and did not even look it over after with their famous "50 point inspection" which I was specifically looking for to ensure my safety on such a long trip. I chose them because I trusted them and that sure was a mistake. I get that freak things happen and not everyone can be perfect. I wasn't looking to get into any legal war or sue them which I probably could have, I just wanted them to make it right by me after being such an avid customer. I went there for everything from oil changes to tire rotations and everything in between and they had no respect for a loyal customer. It's really not even about the dollar amount or the time and stress I endured, but more the principal of not righting their wrong, which was a HUGE slap in the face! I'm for obvious reasons never going back there again and I will forever steer anyone that I know or even talk to in passing clear of Della Honda. Please don't go there because your life just might depend on it and they don't give a flying f*ck! END RANT. P.S. Della... I don't wanna even hear a word from you now about your apologies. DO NOT BUY FROM DELLA! Let me explain... I went to Della on a Monday with a vehicle picked out. I showed up to the dealership, checkbook and title for trade-in in hand. I was the eager buyer you're not supposed to be. For a trade-in which Kelly Blue Book valued at $10,000, I was offered $7200. I fully understand that rarely, if ever, are you going to get what KBB rates your vehicle. I attempted to negotiate but the manager, Terry, refused to budge, only upping is offer to $7500, which was insulting. I caught Terry in a couple lies: (1) He said they wouldn't be able to sell my vehicle because of the high mileage (85,000), when in fact he has similar vehicles on the lot with significantly higher mileage (100,000+), and (2) He said my car would not go for much more than $7500 at auction but could not produce one single piece of evidence to support that claim. Because the salesman Mike was actually kind and helpful, I phoned back the next day and worked out a tentative deal for a different vehicle. I showed up to inspect the vehicle and was surprised to find it had what I considered flaws: (1) Dents and scratches to front bumper and rear bumper (2) interior upholstery stairs (3) Corroded / rusted sliding door (4) Interior defects to cup holder , and (5) and significant tire wear (6/32) in rear tires. This vehicle was price higher than the KBB average and I asked for some play in the price. Mark and Terry bother refused to budge on the sales price by a single penny, but magically were able to offer $8500 for my trade. They refused to throw in all weather matts instead or even rear ties. Nothing. No negotiating in good faith. Only no's. I am a foster parent and because my family is expecting another baby in our family from foster care, we needed a van immediately; Terry and Mark knew this and exploited my situation, no doubt. Della Honda is the only Honda dealership within hours, and because of the lack of competition, they're able to squeeze their customers and not negotiate in good faith. I have purchased multiple cars, mainly Subaru's, and have never left with a new vehicle feeling so disgusted If there was any way I could have waited I would have but again, desperate for van to hold my growing family, I was forced to make a preposterously bad deal. I will never return to this dealership for anything. Not only will I not recommend it to anyone, I am going it make an effort to post this negative review on as many sites as possible and spread the word about their shady business practices. My son goes to SUNY and drives an older Honda Civic. It had a major repair last year done at Della which finally resolved a long ongoing problem that a Honda dealer in the Albany area couldn't diagnose. Safety was at risk and Della caught it. There service earned my trust and I've had my son return for other services. They just replaced the airbag on the passenger side under a recall. They noticed one rear brake caliper was frozen and they repaired that. I've noticed that in general dealership service is more expensive but if you have a good experience and trust them it's worth the $. read more

I was in the North Country on vacation when my CRV had some mechanical issues. Service Depts next available appt was a week away. I called and they were able to fit us in the next morning while we waited. The issue was not super-serious and it was identified and fixed within a couple of hours. The service dept was clean, friendly, and responsive. The price was on the high side but not unreasonable (there is always a premium paid for dealer service) and I was glad to pay it for the great service we received. I first started bringing my Honda to D'ella for services, then repairs, then not at all. Their staff is generally very polite, the site is neat and clean, and they communicate very well. Unfortunately, I have concerns about being overcharged and a lack of thoroughness. Since taking it my car to D'ella, I have noticed certain noises appearing and certain other changes to the driving (more bumpiness, etc.). I have reported these issues to them over the years, but they explained away these things as normal or didn't find things. I remained skeptical. About half a year ago, I first started having coolant issues. My car lost a large amount of coolant, which caused the overheating sensor to trigger. I brought it to D'ella and they told me it was "evaporation" or something like that. I was skeptical and commented that I thought it might've been more like a leak. The coolant ran empty, again, less than a month later. This time, I insisted that it was probably a leak that they should look for. They found one in the radiator, this time. So, I paid for a new radiator and two coolant fills. I expressed my frustration about the first coolant fill charge to the manager, because I believed it didn't make sense. He said that their diagnostic test didn't show a pressure issue that would have indicated a leak. I wonder whether an over reliance on technology prevented them from doing a thorough physical inspection for themselves. Anyways, the coolant issue reoccurred a short drive later (less than 24hours) and my check engine light came on with my car shaking violently. I reluctantly took it back to D'ella (this happened less than a mile from them). They explained the check engine light as water getting in my gas tank. I was skeptical. After several administrations of dry gas and such, the car shook slightly less, but continued to. They told me it was fine, right before this. Moreover, the check engine light came back on. One of the service guys told me that the check engine light would go off by itself after a while; but, I got the distinct feeling that they were being defensive about it still occurring. It never did shut off by itself and the coolant issues continued. Oh, and the radio had been decoded while they had it. I asked the manager about this and he claimed that they didn't have anything to do with it. A mechanic came through the door and contradicted his claim by admitting that they unplugged for safety. My car finally broke down and I had to have it towed to a mechanic (NOT D'ella). The new mechanic found various issues wrong with the car that totaled around $1,400. It did not completely fix the coolant issue, despite their assurances, which I have posted on Yelp. However, they did address several issues related to my car's bumpiness and the odd sounds it makes, which D'ella did not. I will not be bringing my car back to D'ella for repairs. They have overlooked needed repairs, falsely claimed that my car was fixed, overcharged for coolant (perhaps more), and have not been fair and honest about fixing their mistakes. I don't know how common my experience is at D'ella, but I can't help but think that I'd be a fool to return. read more

I received one of those fliers in the mail from Della Honda saying that if you scratch off the number listed inside you get one of the following: an iPad, a 250$ Target gift card, a new Plasma TV, or the grand prize of $5,000. My scratch-off number matched the winning number inside the flier, so I went to the dealership today, 11-28-2011. It took a couple minutes for them to help me, although I could see all of them looking at me from their offices. I guess it's just not profitable enough to help a young girl. Finally, an older, hefty gentleman (later I found out his name was Terry Mack through their website) asked if I needed anything. I told him that I had won one of the prizes from the flier. He quickly pointed to the top of the flier that showed days of the week for the car sales that the dealership was promoting and said that the sweepstakes had ended. He said "Sorry," and left, taking the flier with him. I knew that the fine print (which he was so quick not to let me see) said that the prizes were available until 11-30-2011. I went to my car to call my dad, who looked at his own flier and said that the man was trying to show me the wrong dates for the prizes. I went back inside, waited for another couple of minutes, and a young gentleman (Adam Walton, I later found out) came to help me. I said that Terry took my flier but that my dad had said to check the dates for the sweepstakes. He retrieved the flier, and told me the same story about the sweepstakes ending last week. I pointed out to him the fine print about it ending on 11-30. Adam Walton said that the fine print was talking about the car sales, but it was the section talking about the sweepstakes! What a thug! I asked Adam Walton for the flier back, and he said that I "didn't need it back." I told him that it was addressed to me, and was my property. He still wouldn't give it back. I tried to grab it from him, and he and I tugged on it for a few seconds and he ripped it up. He then said "I'm just a minion." True that!! He then calls for a manager (Terry Mack) to help him out. Terry comes back, brings the part of the flier that Adam Walton ripped from my hands and tries to tell me *again!* the same spiel about it being past the date for the sweepstakes. He said "We've already given out 4,000$ worth of prizes," (but wasn't the grand prize 5,000$ plus an iPad, Plasma TV, and a 250$ gift card?????) He said they were out. Liars! Another man walks in with a flier at this point, saying that he's backing me up. Only at this time does Terry Mack say that he'll get the gift cards (so he was lying!). When he came back with the Target cards, he asked for the fliers. I handed him the shreds of my flier and took the gift card, only noticing too late (at home) that it was for 5$ instead of 250$. Is this really how you're supposed to solve a problem? By being slick and conniving, by not giving me back my property!?! They thought they could bully a young college girl, but no. I didn't fall for their tricks. And while we were arguing a couple that was looking at cars just walked out. Take that Della Honda! I hope I cost you 15K by losing that sale! Send me another flier, I'll be prepared next time! And I'll bring all my friends. Liars, bullies, thugs, and cheats! I hope your kids are nothing like you scum. read more

The way I was treated left me shocked. Worst costumer service I've ever experienced. The two sales men I dealt with were rude, aggressive and just bully's. Making me fell stupid for asking questions about a car, Continuously talking very rudely of other costumers and so much more. I ended up leaving but on my way out the person who I think is the boss didn't hesitate to stop me while he was in the middle of a conversation with another client and make sure I felt even worse about leaving. It sucks to have to drive one hour just to take our vehicle for a service at the dealership. Good thing, there's a lot of positives about this Honda Branch. The place is CLEAN (even their garage is clean!); their LOCATION is easily accessible; the service people are FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL & HELPFUL; and the amenities are family friendly. They have a spacious lounge with lots of material to help pass the time-- magazines, 2 vending machines, tv, desks (for laptop use) and a water dispenser. They also have a neat nook for a playroom (there are toys, puzzles and board games but they do need some updating or replacing). Of course, they have a coffee corner where you can make your own drink. I can only speak for the ladies room but there is a changing table in there. And when you feel like you can't wait too long for your vehicle to be done, they offer a SHUTTLE SERVICE to any place in town (There's a mall with a movie house nearby.) Needless to say, bringing our car to the dealership makes a good excuse for a day trip! Last visit: 3/08 read more

I was having a battery replaced in my vehicle and was asked about having the air bag recall done while i was there which they said would only take about 20 minutes so i chose to wait I was there for an extra hour and a half.I was quoted one price then when I was leaving they gave me a completely different price. I was still under warranty but they claimed with the labor and all it was different.To top it all off after that my car still had issues starting after the battery was replaced. I purchased my CPO Odyssey at Della Honda Glens Falls. I went for my first oil change because that is what the code told me on my maintenace minder is all it needed. I had 43000 mi on the odometer. The guy who checks the vehicles in says to me well in 2000 mi you will be due for a scheduled maintenance of $400.00, you want us to do that today? I said no. When I got home I called another Honda dealer because no where in the manuals does it have what is to be done at certain mileages. I was told there is no such thing as scheduled maintenance, you wait for the Maintenance minder to tell you. I then went out to google maintenace minder to find out that that is exactly true and that you should not do it beforehand because it messes up the computer. We brought our CRV here for the airbag recall, and were given a loaner. It was a Dodge Charger (in winter in the Adirondacks!) but we dealt with that all right. The main issue was that Della let our car sit for two months, and nearly rusted the brake pads to the rotors. They refused to fix the issue, even when I got Honda USA involved. We then moved to Wisconsin, and the first dealership we went to resurfaced the rotors for free, though they were not happy with the fact that they were paying for Della's mistake. read more
