What a treat to have dinner here for a family member's 80th birthday! Given the size of our party it was perfect to be able to take advantage of their wine room which allowed us a separate area to be in a more cozy space. The wine was delicious as well as the Expresso martini which was one of the best I've ever had. We started with a margarita pizza and calamari. Very good! For my main course I got the veal picatta which came with a side of pasta. It was so flavorful. I appreciated the pass the meals was served and the service was top notch. For desert I got the Torta di Cioccolato. So yummy! Valley was $10 but you may get lucky with metered parking.

Super friendly staff and delicious food. They were open for Christmas Eve and we had a reservation for 7 and were seated in the back part of the restaurant. They had cool movie themed art work like the godfather and Casablanca. Had a hot green tea to drink and tried the chicken parm. Took some bites of my families food. The short rib pasta was good too. The bread was more like a biscuit than bread. Only negative is limited parking in the area. Worth a try I'll be back

Dropped by this place for a later night bite, definitely very pleasant fine dining-ish feeling with lighting and music, so good place for special events like Valentine's Day etc. or casual dinners alike The food is good and tasty, fried calamari is very fresh and warm when served but the chicken in pasta is a little dry and overcooked, but overall decent tasting The bread for pre-dish is good appetizers too, the oil is very rich though do be careful not to get that on you Their soda is glass bottle small version of the normal coke, cute but very small portion It's in the middle of Hollywood, so parking maybe a challenge during the day also but think they have valet parking Service is on point, though they did not really check in during dinner, have to flag them to get some more bread, water etc., but friendly for sure Overall, good place to drop by for dinner and meeting, comfortable place to gather in Hollywood!

Love love love. If you are a pizza or pasta fan, check this place out. And do it on a Monday. Come before 6pm and you'll be able to take advantage of the Happy Hour specials (50% off pizzas - 50%!) and then place a pasta order after 6pm and the servers are nice enough to offer the $16 pasta night specials. We had the Margherita pizza that came out so fresh and warm that the cheese just keeps stretching with every bite. Funghi pizza was so good and the campana if you are a fan of burrata (but could've used more basil). Not everything off the pasta menu, but enough that you will not be disappointed. They had a limone pasta with capers (think chicken piccata without the chicken), pomodoro for simpler palates, spinach fettucine with veggies for those that prefer a primavera dish. Wish we could've tried the cacio e pepe and the bucatini with prosciutto. Next time! Also, Open Table for the win! Allows you to make a reservation, and there are plenty of metered/street parking in the nearby areas. A short walk from the Grove as well. Cozy interior seating with a couple tv's and alcohol wall, exterior area that seems outdoors but is covered and enclosed. They also have some seating in the outside along the side of the restaurant.

I was shocked to see I haven't officially Yelped them yet because I always rave about this place. We were looking for pet friendly restaurants and found this place a few years back. I've come here for my dog's birthdays and on random afternoons and evenings over the years. The best part about bringing your furry kids here is that there is an outdoor outdoor section outside the restaurant but their actual "outdoor" patio almost seems indoor. The ambiance and not sitting out right next to traffic makes this place one of my top places to have a nice time out with my babies. I was here most recently last Monday with my roommate and my two dogs. We LOVE Mondays because it's $16 Pasta Mondays. We usually like to come by a little earlier for Happy Hour which is 3pm-6pm on weekdays and includes half off pizzas and (I think) a couple bucks off on some alcoholic beverages including wine. The pasta prices start at 6pm and they're the noodles are freshly made in house with great portions which is an absolute steal. Last Monday, just showed up for dinner and were greeted by the most wonderful server, Patricia. We've been served by her numerous times before and she's always extremely knowledgeable about the menu, attentive and friendly. Between her and Gregorio (Greggy), they are an absolute dream and you're guaranteed to have an amazing meal experience. The food is very reasonably priced (and cheap if you're there for happy hour) and delicious. You can tell they make things fresh and from scratch----down to their Caesar dressing that I'm obsessed with! Last week, we got some calamari and fries for the table. I ordered myself a Limone Pasta and ordered my dog's a side of medium rare steak. Everything came out piping hot and, I cannot stress enough how delicious the food is here.

Tried this place for a work event and the food was great. Place seemed clean and the service was good. Only complaint would be the limited parking as it was a challenge to find street parking.

    Calamari & Meatballs

This was one of the few opened restaurants on Christmas Day. So I booked an Open Table reservation and drove down to this restaurant. Parking in this part of town can ver very difficult. They do offer valet parking for $10 cash. Luckily, since it was a holiday, I found street parking and the meter was free. We opted for indoor seating and the hostess walked us through a maze to get to our table. This place is deceiving and bigger than I'd imagine. We were seated in the last room of the restaurant with a bigger party that was just finishing up. Once they left, it was definitely lonely. We ordered the calamari and meatballs to start. The wife ordered a cocktail and I ordered a Diet Coke that was $4 for a small bottle. It's non-refillable. Our mains were the Limone & Linguanica. While waiting for our food, they brought out 2 biscuits that looked like they were from Pillsbury and cold butter. Not what I was expecting from a restaurant like this or any restaurant that was not called Lucille's. Would have been nice if the butter was served at room temperature instead of straight out from the fridge. We were not able to spread it without the biscuits crumbling. The calamari with the marinara was pretty good. The batter was light and crispy and seasoned well. The marinara tasted fresh with a slight sweetness. The meatballs app came with 4 small balls drenched in a garlic marinara sauce. The sauce was good, but the meatballs lacked seasoning and a little dry. The mains came out and they added a spoonful of parmesan cheese on top. I wish I would have tasted my Linguanica first before adding the cheese as I found my dish to be a bit salty. But not too salty where it's inedible. The Limone pasta was actually pretty good. Would have like ti to have had some kind of protein on it, but it was still good as it. Overall, the restaurant has great potential and I would consider returning. But make sure you make reservations as this place can definitely fill up.

This was my 3rd time here and and this time was a Charm! Like I said before the Atmosphere is to die for with a bar 30 feet high! The Food is Master Chef Worthy and just as tasty the next day! But what was most Important was Kim, my liaison to the Kitchen. She is kindest most professional and informative woman I've ever seen working in a Restaurant That combined with her natural beauty and Million Dollar Smile, made the Night a Wonderful thing!!! Because of Kim's Outstanding Service I Shall return!

I love it here! Great service, food, and vibes. Today was my second time there and it was even better than the first. I met with some friends for a Christmas lunch/ early dinner and had a blast. We shared the chopped salad, pizza, bolognese, and the penne a la vodka. A couple lychee martinis... & a dirty one. Everything tasted SO good. The staff is so attentive and pleasant, definitely will return. I think I found my new favorite pasta spot!

Made a reservation for 8 at 5pm on a Wednesday. Very easy to get a reservation for a party that big and they didn't even charge a per person rate if someone couldn't show up, as other places do. It's nice and rustic inside with brick walls, classy as well and pretty open with a decent amount of tables. We could hear ourselves talk which was great. Music was good upbeat pop music and not too loud and not too soft. Staff were really nice, they checked on us enough but also gave us plenty of time to chat. We arrived 4:30 and didn't leave until 9. There is no other place that lets you stay that long. It was so chill. Happy hour until 5 was good. $4 off drinks and 50% off pizzas. And then from 6-10 it was 50% off martinis. With the deal the pizzas were about $15 each which was a good price and what it really should be normally. The pizza is crispy with lots of cheese, the dough is buttery and the sauce is sweet. The margarita didn't have that much flavor. My fav was the campana that had the burrata on it. I also like the one with eggplant and broccoli rabe. The calamari app was very good, crispy and not chewy, and not sure how much they charged for it. The desserts were very good and affordable at $10 each. The marscapone cheesecake was super creamy and not too sweet. Also the fruit dessert was good, it was a lot of berries in a bowl that tasted sugar crystallized with lemon and whipped cream on the side. Very light but satisfying. That was probably my favorite dessert. we got the chocolate cake which takes 20 min to make. It was rich and very chocolatey, tasted like a cross between a soufflé and a lava cake. I def recommend this place for groups of friends or coworkers.

Seafood stew - broth was yummy!
    Tia K.

The ambiance is lovely. The staff is kind but spread thin and not super attentive (they are busy handling all the things). I ordered a special house Paloma cocktail which was way too sweet - looked beautiful but yuck. The salad and seafood stew were average. Might try again and focus on pizzas.

    Spaghetti Alle Vongole

Great ambiance- I sat in the corner booth, which was comfortable. The decorations and sky-high wine wall keep the place nice. The private wine room is especially lovely. Service was nice, and checked up frequently. Food was good! First, complimentary endless bread! A definite win for the restaurant in my book, as this is uncommon these days. The tuna tartare appetizer was delicious. The spaghetti alle vongole was alright- it sounded light but ended up being pretty heavy due to the abundance of butter sauce mixed with the thick spaghetti noodles. I would like appreciated it more with linguine, a little less butter, and a touch of parsley. Though the server offered chili flakes, which certainly helped! Despite my description, the meal was tasty, just heavier than I anticipated. Overall recommend for a good meal.

Ask the Community - Della Terra Restaurant

    Do they serve wiskey?

Yes, they have a full bar 🥂

    Is the pasta made in-house?

Yes, all the pastas except for the gluten free options are made on the premises in house.

Is this a good place for New York style deli sandwiches? I don't see them on the menu but hear good things.

Yes, the grinders are the best in town! It's not on the menu (much like the chicken alfredo) and don't you dare call it a "submarine sandwich" they will say that dont have it and move on.

    What is their corkage fee?

I don't think this is a restaurant where you can bring your own bottle of wine. They have a full wine menu. I could be wrong, but you may want to contact the restaurant if you believe you can bring your own bottle.

Do they serve their lunch/dinner menu all day, or is it brunch only midday on the weekends?

    Lunch / Dinner all day.

Is it OK to wear shorts?

    Yes, it's LA.

We came here around 1PM on a Sunday and the place was completely empty. The staff up front checked us in, sat us down, and guided us through the menu so we knew what was going on. The menu here has some chicken wings, sides, and other random things, but the unlimited pasta for $13.99 is what we were interested in checking out. Basically, they have a list of different pastas to choose from and if you want things like chicken or meatballs added, it can be for some extra money. Now, I wasn't about to spoil the $13.99 deal so I figured I was about to crush five or six plates of pasta, but come to find out, I was lying. I started off with a plate of the RIgatoni & Marinara and plate came out on literal fire. The pasta was super fresh and actually tasted really, really, really good. After crushing the first place, my confidence was up so I figured I would give the Smokey Chipotle Penne and it was even better then the first dish. The sauce had a little bit of a kick to it, but the flavour was so good I almost ordered it again.....almost. Come to find out, two plates of pasta was the most I was able to finish and I tapped out. Overall, Pasta Amore was a super fun time and definitely a place I could see returning to in the future. The vibes here were solid, the staff was very friendly, and the pasta wasn't just all you can eat, it was actually pretty good.

As we walked in, nothing caught our attention more than the brilliant lively atmosphere. As we took our seats we awaited what would surely be a culinary journey. We ordered the margarita pizza, the calamari, the meatballs, garlic bread, and the pasta pomodoro. Fortunately and unfortunately, our first dish of the night happened to be the garlic bread. The bread locked. It's garlic butter flavor, or that of flavor at all. if it was all we had ordered, Met Him At A Bar would surely be given one star, but thankfully they had more to offer. The meatballs for one held our attention much longer than that of the garlic bread. The flavoring in the meatballs themselves brought us straight back to our childhood straight back to our roots, as the creamy marinara sauce brought the dish to life. A simple yet elegant dish truly. For us, the calamari was simply there. It's maintained everything you want in a calamari yet added nothing new. It stood out to us not in a world of flavor, texture, and culinary experiences. The Margarita Pizza, however it was quite small. What it lacked in size was made up for in flavor. The melted mozzarella mixed with pizza sauce on the pizza to create a pool of flavor, lingering in the middle of the pizza until one slice is picked up and eaten. Lastly, the pasta Pomodoro. The sauce was thin, the pasta was overcooked instead of al dente. In the singular basil leaf stood atop the pasta, not for flavor, but to save the appearance of a disgraceful pomodoro. It's safe to say, Met Him At A bar may or may not be "Meating" us again... Most Sincerely, yours truly: Henry Pollock & Hayden Kalebic

However, after that extra 30 min cushion, you will be charged the normal rates. As mentioned by a previous reviewer / good friend of mine, scan your ticket in order to re-enter the parking garage on the right hand side. Food: My friend and I ordered the Cheese and Truffle tasting menu. I have been eating at various Uovo locations, and this was my first time here at this location. I'm a massive sucker for authentic Italian food after visiting Italy back in 2023. This restaurant chain just hits the spot every time. I love how their noodles are flown in from Italy every day. Just an FYI, all pastas were cooked al dente, which was perfect. My friend and I both ordered a glass of white wine. The Pinot Grigio paired very well with the meal. It was light, crisp, and refreshing with notes of pear, apple, and citrus. To start off with, we received a plate of yellowtail crudo. This is an elegant, Japanese-Italian fusion appetizer featuring thinly sliced delicate and buttery soft raw yellowtail in a vibrant citrus and soy dressing. Next, we received the tagliatelle in truffle sauce. I'm a MASSIVE sucker for all things truffle related. I'm just sad that it wasn't truffle season, so we didn't get any real truffle shavings on this dish. Booooo! Jk. Despite not being in truffle season, this dish was top notch. This is a luxurious, rich, silky, mouth watering, and deeply earthy Italian pasta dish. The sauce combines quality heavy cream, freshly grated Parmesan, and black truffle oil. Hands down my favorite dish here at Uovo. Moreover, we next received our pomodoro dish. The dish is exceptionally delicious, which a bright, high-quality tomato sauce. A classic Italian dish that you can't go wrong with ordering. To add on, we then got the classic carbonara. With crispy pork, a velvety and smooth sauce, and a punch of black pepper, this carbonara pasta was a rich, creamy, and a belly satisfying dish. Lastly, we ended our night sharing a tiramisu. It is served in a glass and featuring silky mascarpone, espresso, and a unique hazelnut twist. The portion is designed to be shared in a single cup. A perfect way to end a 10/10 meal. Staff: Karl and Ronaldo are both very attentive, kind, friendly, and helpful. They accept credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

I absolutely love Uovo! They fly their pasta from Italy overnight, and you can really taste the…read morequality of their pasta and sauces. I came 15 mins to closing with a friend, and they still seated us and got our pastas out super quickly. We got the Amatriciana and the Crema di Parmigiano, both of which were so rich and tasty and unlike any pastas I've had elsewhere. The prices of these dishes were also very reasonable (only around $20), which is sooo much better than a lot of other Italian places around LA that serve much more lackluster food. I also must emphasize that the service at this location is impeccable! The servers and chef were all super kind to seat us so late and still give us such delicious food. They even said they could prep the tasting menu for us, but we didn't want to make them go through a 45-minute service at the end of the night. I had an amazing time here and will be back again for the tasting menu another time! Parking can be found on the side streets and in the back for 2 hours!
