We ordered two reds- one Napoli and one Capricciosa. For the Capricciosa, I don't eat pork so we asked for it removed. Server was very kind and offered to swap it with bresola, (they said they also don't eat pork and substitutions could be easily done). Everything was delicious, I need to go back ASAP. Fair warning this is a very small space, it gets LOUD and could be uncomfortable for some. We asked to move to the quieter window seat which was in a little nook. A personal pizza is enough for one person, so I ordered the marinara and my husband ordered the four cheese. Min was hot, fresh and delicious. This is our very favorite local pizza place! This thin-crust pizza is always made fresh, slightly charred on the edges in the wood-fired oven, and the toppings are generous and delicious. Our favorite meal starts with their avocado salad (with oranges, red onion, spinach, cherry tomatoes in a luscious lemon vinaigrette) and the salsiccia (sausage & mushroom) pizza. We usually get wine (they have a number of wines available by the glass) but they have added some specialty cocktails, including a Royale (a Kir Royale with blackberry!) and a bourbon hot apple cider - both amazing! For dessert, have their cannolis - a trio of mini cannolis that are a perfect ending to a meal there. (You can't go wrong with a cappuccino either!) We ordered several pizzas for takeout from Dellarocco's to bring with us and it definitely did not disappoint. When we walked in around 3:30ish there were to place our takeout order, and they told us it would be around 20 minutes. When we went to pick up, there were definitely more tables filled! And I can definitely see why, the pizza here is good! We ordered an array of pizzas, Margherita (which is always a kid favorite!), Arrabiata (which my hubby loved, as they had shredded pepperoni so the flavor of pepperoni was in every bite!), Capricciosa, and the Dellarocco pizzas. And we also got the Calzone Classico, which came recommended! And so glad we got this, as the tomato sauce it came with was also so delicious! We also got a few sides such as meatballs and wood grilled veggies. The Margherita pizza was a huge kid favorite, if you are debating what pizzas to get for kids, this is the best one! And also the Calzone Classico was also a huge favorite! Overall, definitely recommend Dellarocca, the pizza is delicious and light on the dough, which I always appreciate. We came without a reservation for an informal Mother's Day lunch and we loved it! The outdoor seating was glorious under the beautiful bright sunshine and the tables were not on top of one another like so many outdoor seating arrangements which we appreciated. We ordered a margarita pizza with mushrooms which we loved ! We also got a calzone with Italian sweet sausage and spinach which was super tasty - gigantic and perfectly cooked ! We've been here twice now and have not had any issues grabbing a table for two outside. The inside also seems really spacious. Our favorite pizza here must be the taleggio pizza. The sweet caramelized onions really balance the savory sausage and white cheese. We have gotten this both times we've been here and it was even better than we remembered the second time. We have not found our favorite red pizza yet. We got the Donna amatrice the first time with fried leeks and pancetta. I thought it needed more pancetta and my husband thought there was too much fried leeks. The second time we tried the salsiccia which contained mushrooms and sausages. It was alright. I thought it was a little wet and lacking in dough. Overall, we would come back again to get the taleggio and hopefully find a second pizza that we enjoy as much. read more

Very good pizza! My mom was in town visiting recently and we went to check this place out. We especially chose this place because she has a gluten sensitivity and they have gluten free pizza there. The pizza was delicious. Hot, fresh, and flavorful. We were seated outside and enjoyed pizza and drinks al fresco. Our server was also amazing. Dellarocco's deserved a review update - I order pizza from here at least every couple months and TBH I love it. My favorite pizza is the Monnalizza, n'duja, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and hot honey. It's a perfect combo - Smokey and spicy from the n'duja and sweet from the hot honey. When I order delivery it always comes within 30min. I pop it in the toaster for a few minutes and it's perfect! If I'm having a wild night, the Nutella calzone isn't a bad way to end! read more

Last week I met a friend for dinner at her favorite Pizza place. She had been raving about it for a long time. The ambiance was inviting but I'm always skeptical about how the gluten free crust will taste. I am always disappointed. OMG!! We came here with the kids before a school event- dreaming of Barboncinos amazing clam pizza I ordered their version which was a bit dissappointing and had a few too many uncooked garlic chunks. I'm also all about proportions and the Brussell salad needed a little more care. Margherita pizza and Eggplant parm were good- but the best thing we ate was the Tartufo ice cream dessert thoughtfully cut into slices sprinkled with powdered sugar. Staff was thoughtful and kind. Dellarocco's is a decent neighborhood place for pizza, but nothing spectacular and on the pricy side. The highlights were the pizza crust, both regular and gluten free, and the tomato sauce. The Margarita with Buffalo mozzarella was the best variety, but I was disappointed by canned mushrooms and rather bland broccoli rabe on the other samplers, and particularly by the canned & pitted olives given the price. Certainly not worth $9! The Negroni cocktail I ordered was rather small given the price of $14 as well and very watered down due to the use of crushed ice. Dellarocco's makes for a quick, affordable, and impressive date night! My husband and I shared a salad, pizza, and dessert tonight for just over $40 tonight. While we didn't leave stuffed, we definitely had enough to eat and the value of food/service/ambiance to price ratio is fantastic! There was no wait on a Sunday night, but there were still other groups having a great time and we saw a couple groups at the bar. The Christmas decor and dim lighting made for a surprisingly romantic combo, and our food came out SO fast. We split the fennel/caper salad which was not bad, but I'd like to try the kale next time. The margarita with buffalo mozzarella pizza was slightly bigger than a personal pizza and was cut into six slices. The crust was super light with a slight chew (all good things to me!) and while the base was a little soggier than I'd like, I would absolutely return, and I feel like that says a lot given the number of restaurants around! We finished dinner off with a light panna cotta with a cherry sauce on top. Our waters were constantly being refilled, and I would highly suggest this for your next cute date night! read more

I got the quatro gusti which was like getting four different mini pies from an upscale pizza place for twenty dollars!! The Sauvignon blanc was tasty and $11! We arrived at Dellarocco's around 8:30pm and was seated on the outdoor patio. Server instantly brought over a bowl of water for the dogs and gave them treats. Super friendly service from start to finish! Tartufo (4/5): I thought the Tartufo was pretty good. It had a ton of truffle-y and cheesy flavor that all came together quite well. The thin crust was also light and airy, which made it less carb-heavy. If I had to nitpick, I did think that pizza was greasy with all the melted gorgonzola and mozzarella cheeses, and drizzle of EVOO. Nice, cozy, neighborhood spot for delicious pizzas. This place has a very welcoming vibe on the outside and the inside is popping but not overly loud. We ordered two pizzas and both of them we delicious. One was the truffle pizza (Tartufo) and the other was the Dellarocco. Both of the pizzas had an amazing balance of flavor and texture including the seemingly well balanced brick oven char on the bottom of the pies. My only gripe is that the Tartufo pie was very very thin...like only 1 millimeter in thickness so there was more pizza that I wished I had in that pie despite it tasting so good. Aside from that, it was a good spot that I would like to try again if I'm in the area...since we ordered two white pizza pies, I would like to try the red pizza pies next time. read more

We shared a few different pies including the Donna Amatrice, the Porcini, and the Taleggio. Airy dough with nice char. Interior was a little flimsy but most of the pie was sturdy; just needed to flip the inside over and I was good to go. Good ingredients across the board. I liked the curation of pies. Service was quick and friendly. Two gender neutral restrooms; one was handicap accessible and enormous. They have indoor seating, outdoor seating, and some seats at their bar. 3.5 stars. Pizza being delivered isn't the same experience when eating onsite. Dellarocca displays a really nice variety of pizza on their menu (also appetizers) categorized by red or white. A recent delivery order included Margarita STG (with Buffalo mozz) and the Siciliana (sautéed cherry tomatoes, smoked mozzarella cheese, shaved Parm and basil). Their style is Neapolitan/Naples. Delivery was quick and the pies were shareable personal sizes. The entire crust/dough was a bit chewy but good. While both pies were pretty good, the STG resembled the standard Margherita. I didn't detect buffalo mozzarella at all. And with regards to the Siciliana, some of the flavors outlined in the ingredients weren't detectable. Again, it is possible that delivering pizza on a somewhat cold winter night affects the integrity of it as compared to eating at the venue. That being said, I'll give it another try but in person. read more

Omgggg this place is a vibe!!!! Let's start out with the building, it's still old school vibe which is exactly what we wanted. Not touristy at all. We didn't want to feel like we were eating at a fast food place or a franchise. We started off with drinks. Aperol spritz and a peroni of course. The meatballs were tender and seasoned perfectly. We had a nepoli pizza which was a solid 3... but the monalisa pizza was a 5 star all the way I wish we would of ordered 2 of them to be honest it was the best pizza I've ever had. We've come here before covid and loved the pizza and service, and now it is our takeout choice for good artisinal pizza. I usually don't care for pizza crust, but I absolutely love Dellarocco's. It's not always a given with delivery, but our pizza arrived warm and ready to eat (not cold and sad). We ordered 2 pizzas - Quattro Gusti - includes 4 different types of pizzas - Margherita STG, Arrabbiata, Zucchini, and Dellarocco. The Arrabbiata (tomato, mozzarella, hot soppressato, spicy EVO) was by far our favorite and we'll probably order an entire pie next time.
