We ordered the pepperoni pie for delivery and the size was large and price reasonable. Delivery was super fast (although maybe a little too fast because my one gripe is that the pizza was still a little soupy, I wouldn't mind it more well done, but I can always ask for it like that next time now that I know). We ordered a pie with spinach and mushrooms for delivery and it was very good--better than recent deliveries from other Brooklyn spots near us (PLG). The crust was thin and crispy, the sauce was flavorful, and even with the toppings it wasn't soggy. Had a very disappointing delivery (through Seamless) experience with this restaurant. I am frustrated enough to leave a review because of the way the restaurant responded to me as well as Seamless. I ordered on a Friday night and my food was late. I called the restaurant and they said "well its not here so it must be out for delivery" and hung up. Initially, I was unfazed because it sounded busy and I understand delivery is at an all time high right now. However, my food showed up a few minutes after. The delivery man was at my door, rummaging through all of the orders he was carrying trying to decipher what was mine and another order. I was like okay? And then was asking for all of the items I ordered. He had handed me a bag and then grabbed it back to check for the items. There was a small thing missing. He said he could go back and ask to have it redelivered I said it was fine not to because it was a small order and it wasn't his fault. I brought my food inside - the pizza I ordered was messed up and the rice balls were split open and cold. Knowing the restaurant itself didn't seem helpful, I put in a message to Seamless. My Seamless rep was SO nice and helpful. He called the restaurant for me and was yelled at by the owner. They refused to refund me and Seamless ended up processing a refund on their end because of the issue. No less than 5 minutes go by (literally closed out of the chat with Seamless) when the delivery man is back at my door with my missing items. I thanked him and he said "well you called the boss right?" And I was shocked. I thanked him again and told him to have a nice night. I will NOT be supporting this business further and I am honestly shocked at how they handled the situation. The food itself was fine but not mind blowing anyway. read more

Not an expert but I do know Roman style dough has olive oil in it so it's more like a focaccia consistency and not softer bready (if that's a word) unlike napoletano style dough which is kinda like pita bread feel to it. . Not better JUST DIFFERENT. This was an EXCELLENT "pleasantly surprised" kinda first time order. I grow up in Italy and it is funny when my friends base their knowledge of pizza on what they know vs what's actually out there as a recipe variety. This was awesome.. crunchy and doughy at the same time... like the CRISPY corners of the focaccia in a pan pan hot out of the oven...and good quality toppings .. What I got looked different from all the pictures you see here on Yelp. The crust wasn't over-baked but was still somehow dry and crunchy. The tomato sauce was thin and there wasn't enough cheese. I'll give this place credit for the nice meats they use--that was very tasty, but the crust, cheese and sauce didn't do the toppings justice.
