One of the friends in our group made our reservation for the steakhouse dinner and we chose to go to Delmonico's again. I know I had them before but decided to update my review once more. Perusing the menu, I opted for the same choice, since I felt it was the best deal for what you get. I got the chateaubriand, which is to be shared between two people and includes asparagus, potatoes au gratin, béchamel sauce and a red wine reduction sauce. Chateaubriand: This was absolutely tender and delicious. I got it medium again due to some health issues I have that recommends not to eat too much red meat. Still, the steak was superb and I truly enjoyed it. My party ordered a varying amount of sides, from fries to bacilli to Mac and cheese and creamed spinach. Overall, a delicious steak, but even better with the company we had. I feel it is almost tradition we go to a steakhouse every year. And I always look forward to coming back here again. read more

A high end steakhouse in the Venetian food row, this is Emeril L's signature restaurant. The decor is beautiful. The vibe is great. Their bread service is pop overs, which were ok but not my preference. We had filets and they were very good! Cooked to temperature with a very nice outer crust. We also had asparagus, which were good but on the thin side. We also had the steak fries which were very good add well. They have a large wine selection but mainly by the bottle. We got a couple glasses of red which were good. Dessert was the star of the show. We had their signature banana cream pie which was awesome! We also got a slice of the special key like pie which was very good too. Overall, this is a very good steak house choice in Las Vegas. There are many good options to choose from and many just in the Venetian alone but this is a solid pick. Delmonico delivered one of my favorite meals in Vegas. The lobster bisque was so flavorful, and the filet mignon with sautéed garlic mushrooms as a side made my day like Clint Eastwood. The 2021 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon was an excellent pairing. Don't be afraid to ask your server for wine and food recommendations; they know the menu well. Finish with the banana cream pie. Our group of 3 arrived on time for our reservation, were seated right away and everything here from the service to the food, was on point all night. We each started with a cocktail, everyone in our group ordered a steak, and we requested au gratin potatoes and broccoli for the table. We also shared a bottle of wine that was suggested by our server, and finished with the bananas foster, flambeed tableside by the wait staff. Everything we ordered was excellent, and all the staff were outgoing, helpful with wine suggestions and very personable, if not maybe a little too chatty at times; Twice when they stopped by to check on our table, that became a 5 minute conversation with our waiter, while we were trying to eat and talk business. We've been twice now, once for dinner and once for lunch. This is a reliable place with good options. We particularly like that they offer a lunch special (prix fixe) for $50. It's a handsome room. You sink into the chairs. Tables are roomy. I especially appreciate that, unlike most restaurants these days, they aren't trying to shove people on top of each other in tightly spaced tables or banquettes. This place is comfortable. We've had the lobster bisque (delicious), the barbecued shrimp (you need to really like barbecue sauce as these are loaded with it), the caviar deviled eggs (good), and the tenderloin sandwich (great) for lunch. The potatoes were honestly the highlight--perfectly done and full of flavor. The steak, however, didn't wow me the way I expected, especially given the reputation. I also tried the Wagyu dessert, which was unique but not something I'd order again. The banana cream pie was just okay. It's always a little disappointing when a place you're excited about doesn't fully deliver, but I still admire Emeril and what he's built. I recently dined at Delmonico Steakhouse inside The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas for my brother-in-law's birthday celebration, and while I walked in with high expectations--as I always do for steakhouses--this experience fell well short of what I'd hoped for, especially at these prices. The restaurant itself looks stunning as you enter: very elegant and high-end, with an impressive wine cooler right up front that really sets a luxurious tone. The ambiance is polished and upscale, and if you avoid the restrooms, you'd never guess there were issues elsewhere. Our server, Carlos, was outstanding--attentive, professional, and genuinely trying his best to make things right despite the problems. The manager (the guy in the suit who checks on tables) was also great and handled our concerns well. Service from the front-of-house team was a highlight. Unfortunately, the food was where things went wrong. We spent close to $1,000, and the steak--nearly $100 itself--was mediocre at best. It arrived completely undercooked (way off from what we ordered), had to be sent back to be re-cooked, and even then came out wrong again. We also received the incorrect sides, and the drinks were underwhelming and not up to par. The only standout was the mashed potatoes--they came out perfectly and tasted really good, which was a small bright spot. For a place of this caliber (from Emeril Lagasse, no less), there seemed to be a real lack of quality control and expediting in the kitchen. Orders were inaccurate, and execution was inconsistent. One more downside: the hallway to the restrooms had a strong sewage smell, and there was something on the floor covered by a napkin (hoping it was just a spill, but the odor was unmistakable). The restrooms themselves could use some attention too. We were celebrating a special occasion, and while the staff did their best to salvage it, the food issues made it disappointing overall. I hate to say it, but I'm not sure I'd recommend Delmonico right now--you're taking a chance. If the kitchen can get its act together, it has the potential to be great, but this visit didn't live up to the hype or the price tag. Good luck if you decide to go. read more

Delmonico has quickly become one of my favorite places to dine when my husband and I are at the Venetian. As Las Vegas locals, we see a lot of shows at Sphere and the theaters at Venetian and Palazzo. Delmonico is centrally located within restaurant row, so it's very convenient to make a reservation any time we go. It's just a short walk from either parking garage and then a small walk to the shows. The staff is always attentive and the process of ordering, getting the food, and making sure we are taken care of runs like a well-oiled machine. The ambience is so nice - a mix of modern and old-school dining that is upscale but not portentous. The seats are comfortable and the atmosphere is inviting. There are plenty of tables to seat larger parties and even more that can accommodate smaller parties like mine. They are spaced nicely apart so you don't feel like you are involved with the people dining next to you and angled smartly for privacy. We have dined here several times (for lunch and dinner) and each time has been better than the last. The food is incredibly flavorful, cooked perfectly, and always prepared the way it's requested. We try to make a point to try something new each time we dine, and we have not been disappointed in any of the menu items we've ordered. In fact, it's made it difficult just to order a few items because we want to order everything again. That's a good problem to have. We will definitely be back again (as I look through my calendar to see when our next show will be so I can make a reservation)! read more

We hosted a Christmas birthday dinner for my dad here with a group of 10, and the experience was excellent. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, the service was incredibly attentive, polished, and unhurried. Courses arrived promptly and, impressively, everyone at the table was served at the same time, no awkward waits or staggered plates. Additionally, we enjoyed the pomp of the Ceaser salad and one steak being prepared table side. The food was consistently well executed across the board, classic steakhouse cooking done right. If there's one minor critique, it's that the side dishes, while tasty and well made, skewed a bit heavy, and a little more variety or lighter options would have been welcome. I'd been wanting to go to Delmonico for years and it was nice to finally experience it. I had the Prime Boneless New York Strip, along with Freshly Baked Bread, Potato Au Gratin and Charred Brussel Sprouts. The steak was good - I could tell that this was a quality piece...it was perfectly cooked medium and was very tender. I will say, however, it was a bit under seasoned and really just needed a bit more salt...at their price point, I expected it to be just a bit better. The bread, potatoes and brussel sprouts were all delicious - very rich and full of flavor. For dessert, we shared a slice of a special Chocolate Cake that was very moist and chocolatey - it was a perfect way to end the meal. The service was very interesting...throughout the evening we had completely different servers to assist us with the different foods/offerings: the wine, person who took our order for the food, person who delivered the food, person who took our order for dessert, and person who delivered dessert were all completely different people - I don't think I'd ever experienced that before...the good thing was everyone was very pleasant and attentive. The ambiance is amazing - it's an enormous restaurant and we sat near the center of the space and it really felt like a special place. The decor is a bit contemporary-minimalist, so it was really the people and vibe within the space that create the atmosphere. This restaurant is definitely a high-end experience, so it's perfect for special occasions. Our last nite in Vegas and we had not made any reservations. Since our trip was last minute, I didn't even try to make a reservation at some of the other steak houses. This one was in our hotel and it was an amazing choice. We sat at the bar for a couple of drinks then moved into the restaurant for a full dinner. Since it was super early, the need for a reservation didn't exist. At first, I thought our server was a bit stuffy but he relaxed a bit. I had read about their table side Caesar salad. Man, that demonstrate took our salad to another level. I honestly don't know if I could eat another restaurant Caesar unless it was tossed tableside. It was so fresh, with just hints of anchovies. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. I ordered the bone in ribeye. To be perfectly honestly, I only eat the ends of a ribeye, it's the most marbled and tendered, loaded with lots of that yummy fat. I am so grateful that my dining partner is willing to chow down on my leftovers. The portion was huge and I had no space left for the potatoe sides. Service team was good. I chose to eat at Delmonico Steakhouse for Thanksgiving dinner during a solo trip to Vegas primarily because of its proximity to The Sphere, where I was seeing The Wizard of Oz immediately before. Unfortunately I had a hard time finding it (Google Maps said it was in the Grand Canal Shoppes, which it is not) and walked all over the Venetian before having to call and ask for directions--although all they could tell me was that it was in "Restaurant Row," but not how to actually find where that was. (Hot tip: it's right by where the Sphere walkway leads into the main Venetian hotel/casino.) Once I got there, I realized it's not the best place for a solo diner--most of the tables (at least on Thanksgiving night) were for large parties of more than 4 people. Normally in this case I would just sit at the bar, but the bar was small and already full. Fortunately they sat me at a 4-person table with two chairs at it and it didn't seem too weird for me to sit there all alone. I started with the Winter Swell cocktail which is kind of a riff on a tiki drink, and it was literally one of the best cocktails I've ever had in my life. (I ended up drinking two.) The food menu, however, was more of a challenge for me because I'm gluten-free and nothing was marked. I actually chose a restaurant like this where I wouldn't be obligated to get a turkey dinner since that is generally not celiac-friendly, but my server said there weren't really any accommodations they could make for me. (The steak tartare, for instance, comes with bread--and when I asked for something else, even cucumber slices, he said all they could give me was tomato.) My server did advise that all the steaks would be gluten-free, but it was a little too much food and too much money for what I was looking for that night. So, I patched together a meal out of Emeril's deviled eggs with remoulade sauce and the beef carpaccio, both of which were excellent. I appreciated that my other server was cognizant of my celiac issue when he asked about dessert, offering me sorbet (and not tempting me with all the things I can't eat). I decided to skip dessert and just move along, since I didn't feel terribly comfortable there on my own surrounded by families. read more

I had that experience twice at Delmonico Steakhouse sitting at the bar during lunch hour with Matt as our bartender. Bartenders range in skillset and the alchemists tend to be my favorite. These are the bartenders who long have left the recipes behind and now explore flavor profiles on their own experimenting with liqueurs and bitters like a chemist with compound solutions. Matt is such a bartender. The first time we went in just for drinks while the second we went in for lunch. Both were amazing. I ordered the burger which was utterly fantastic cheesy goodness! I think reading the Yelp reviews and first impressions my expectations were high than what was received. Long day of being lost in the Venetian! We were hungry and wanted something to just satisfy the hunger. We were seated right away with no reservations. Immediately provided water and the complimentary bread/popover. Just a basic cut and basic cook in my opinion Seabass- 5/5 cooked perfectly with a decent sear: i wasn't a fan of the cauliflower it accompanied being it tasted more like too much onion Brussels- 3/5 not bad but not something i would order again. We had dinner reservations at Emeril Lagasse Delmonico Steakhouse before going to the Chicago Concert at the Venetian. We were seated in a comfortable round table that seated 4 people. Great location in the center near the front of of the room. Delmonico has been there about 26 years. They get a lot of convention business being located on Restaurant Row. Good Filet Mignon but not great as Michaels. One of our steaks was medium rare and the other well done. They should have been served at the same time instead of separately. I decided to try Delmonico Steakhouse because I was specifically craving a tableside Caesar salad. Before coming in, I even called the restaurant to confirm they offered it, and the staff had to put me on hold to verify whether they still served the tableside Caesar. The ambience of the restaurant was bright and simple. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad itself was underwhelming and not impressive at all, especially for the price. I felt that $42 for a Caesar salad was excessively overpriced for what was served. I was considering ordering the seafood pasta entrée for dinner, but I actually appreciated the waiter's honesty when he admitted that he personally did not like the dish. Combined with the long wait time just to place our food order, the overall experience became disappointing enough that we decided to leave rather than continue with dinner. While I appreciate good service and honesty from the staff, the food quality, pricing, and slow service did not justify the experience for me. It is situated on the restaurant row located between the Venetian and Palazzo resorts. On this occasion, I ordered the prime boneless ribeye ($73.00) and an Idaho baked potato ($15.00). A Bombay Sapphire G&T ($14.00) and tax of $8.54 brought my ticket to $110.54 before gratuity. I am fortunate to have been able to dine in many nice Las Vegas restaurants. The steak here is very good; but I cannot say that it exceeded that of any other premium steakhouse. The interior décor is very nice. I like the fact that the lighting in the dining room is brighter (not as dim) as some other steakhouses. As I was by myself, I dined at the bar. The service provided was good. We enjoyed them very much. The food was absolutely exceptional. Starting with the bread, extremely soft and very tasty and delicious. We started with a salad, which was absolutely tremendous. It came with a fried egg which we've never had any place in our entire life and it was absolutely delicious. My husband and I both had steak and they were very tender cooked perfectly. For dessert they gave us a little compliment dessert, it wasdelicious and we also ordered a cheesecake as well and it was fabulous. My husband had an old-fashioned for his drink and he really enjoyed it very much. However, the other selections on the menu I think need to be revisited. I didn't care for one of my drinks. I took a couple sips and left at the center of the table. It tasted like cough syrup. Our food server noticed that I wasn't drinking it, and he asked me about it and I never really complained, but he automatically knew and he took it off the bill which I thought was very nice. We've been here several times now, but I've never written a review. Went again this week with friends and it was packed due to a huge convention at the hotel. The restaurant can get very loud when packed, but they have been nice and cozy as well when it's not super packed. The menu is your typical steakhouse variety. Definitely get items like the Caesar salad prepared tableside, or the carpaccio both very good. We've had the steak tartare on another visit which was also solid. I'm not a huge meat eater so I'm always happy to share something. The steaks here are fantastic and they really know how to prepare them well. We got the evening's special: a 40oz Porterhouse which we all shared. We couldn't even finish it, it was so big. I enjoyed the banana cream pie too, at the end. It's only been a year since my last review, but I felt the need to come back and add the additional star that Delmonico so rightfully deserves. At this point, my husband and I have tried at least 5 different Las Vegas steakhouses and every time we end up disappointed. You know what has never let us down? Delmonico. We make a reservation to have dinner here every single time. This time, we had a reservation for 8:30. We had an appointment at 5 that we were told to anticipate taking two hours and 8:30 was the closest reservation slot they had. Our appointment finished much earlier than anticipated and by 6:30 we were starving. My husband walked to the front to inquire if we could possible dine earlier. The manager happened to be up front and said no problem, come on in! We noted in the reservation that we were celebrating my birthday. Despite being two hours early, they had a birthday card for me that was ready to go as we were seated! The staff takes incredible care of you. It's unlike anywhere else. My water glass never falls below half full and I always have bread if I want it. This restaurant is gorgeous and has the best ambiance. It's so cozy and intimate. Everyone is always talking and laughing. It's just the total package. Our favorites are still the truffle parmesan potato chips appetizer and the potato croquettes side. The filet mignon and NY strip are perfection. Drinks are always good and strong. Anytime we eat at another steakhouse, we end up comparing it to this one and always have major regret. A few months ago we stopped in at the bar at Delmonico because we heard they had Redbreast 18 year old Irish whisky, which has proven difficult to find. Unfortunately we arrived just as the bar was closing for the afternoon, but the bartender and manager took our drink order since the register had not yet been cashed out. So we took our "roadie" glasses of whisky and had an impromptu tasting in the shopping area connecting the Venetian and Palazzo properties. Where there's a will--or a whisky--there is a way! Fast forward to this visit, when we arrived just as the bar was opening for dinner--this time to try the elusive Redbreast 27 year old Irish whisky. We brought a party of 8 to celebrate my parents 65th wedding anniversary. I truly cannot say enough about the exceptional service we received. Beginning with them allowing me to shatter some blue hydrangea pedals and pictures on the table before they sat my parents. Once we sat the top notch table service began. From the amazing wine list and a friendly and fun sollmlea to our waiter who was so very attentive and gave us the celebratory atmosphere we were looking for. On to the food..absolutely fantastic. Many started with the Caeser salad made table side which was very good. And the Wedge salad which was excellent. Everyone ordered a steak many cooked to perfection. We had one exception which was quickly rectlefied. Our sides we shared were the brussel sprouts, au grautin potatoes and fingerling potatoes,.cream spinach and brissel sprouts. All were excellent. The best is when our lovely waiter brought out the wedding cake we ordered for our parents. He showed such grace as he served us all. Would highly recommend this amazing restaurant. read more

Had the pre fixe lunch and it was a ton of food, but so good! Loved the Jidori chicken - tender and crispy. The grits waffle was really good. But the banana cream pie was amazing. The banana to cream ratio was so good as there were lots of layers of bananas with layers of cream in between. read more
