I came here for dinner with my colleagues, and we had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and the restroom was absolutely spotless, which I always appreciate. I ordered the filet mignon with a baked potato, and it was easily one of the best steaks I've had. The variety of steak sauces was a great touch. My coworkers also loved the salmon and the sautéed spinach. The only items we probably wouldn't order again were the mac and cheese, which felt a little too firm, and the crab cake, which was a bit too salty for our taste. If you're dining with a group, definitely share the sides because they're large enough for two to three people. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the steak and the overall experience made it worth it.

I enjoyed coming here for my birthday. The atmosphere was great and the staff was so friendly. The food was decent for the price, but the Mac and cheese left something to be desired as it was like a pancake. We were accidentally charged for 2 mashed potatoes, but the server rectified it immediately.

The food the service the ambiance, all 5 stars here at Prime. But obviously you can't get a table outdoors with the view of the Eiffel Tower then I would would another day until I can sit outside. Nonetheless the food was excellent here.

Bartender Jamie & waiter Jessie omg! The best. From the hostess to the bar to the food & drinks & view! 5/5 Bread & Butter soft & lovely! Tasted like my moms! 5/5 Beet Carpaccio lovely combination! 5/5 NY Strip cooked to perfection & flavorful. One of the Top 3 I've ever had! 5/5 Potato Dauphinois like wow! Best Potato Au Gratin ever! Creamy & perfectly baked. I couldn't ordered two! I must find a recipe similar to duplicate. 5/5 Presentation Our bartender recommended the Hawk & Horse Cab that paired well w/ our entrees. GM Lawrence was also fantastic. We sat at the bar overlooking the fountains. Romantic & magnificent!

Came to Prime for dinner and had a pleasant experience overall. We were seated promptly, and our waiter was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the evening. The staff who kept our water glasses filled were also outstanding--our glasses were never empty. The food was good, though not quite as memorable as I expected. One standout was the bread and butter, which were absolutely delicious. We ordered the ribeye, and it was huge! I shared it with my cousin, and the staff kindly split it onto two plates for us, which was a nice touch. The steak itself was tender, flavorful, and cooked very well. We were celebrating my cousin's divorce that night and had requested an outdoor table. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get one. It seems you need to arrive right when the restaurant opens to secure outdoor seating since the patio is shared with the restaurant next door. That was a little disappointing, but not a deal-breaker. The pricing was reasonable, especially for a restaurant on the Strip. While I'm glad I had the opportunity to try Prime, the overall experience wasn't quite impactful enough to make me eager to return. Still, it was a solid dining experience, and I'm happy I checked it out.

Came for a casual weeknight dinner during a conference. Not too bad securing a reservation, and was able to be seated early (they pay attention to requests). We shared a NY Peppercorn Strip with some creamed spinach. It was a bit chewy, so they graciously replaced it and the replacement was perfect. Great service, too.

Phenomenal evening with some friends! Hostess were very welcoming! The mocktails are great for the non alcoholic drinkers! And the wine/ champagne list is great as well! Very warming tidy atmosphere! Highly recommend the Japanese steaks! Especially F1 Filet mignon! The New York strip is excellent as well. Cooked Medium & perfect! The steak sauces are impeccable! Our servers name was Jesus! From NY He was amazing! Great suggestions, pairing & professionalism! The crème brûlée is amazing with the raspberry sorbet! The surprise key lime pie cheesecake was amazing, the presentation! Would repeat in near future.

My husband and I had the most amazing experience at Prime! From the hostess, Mayra who made us feel like family, to our waiter Rob, who dazzled us with his expertise and prompt service, to the manager Robert who went above and beyond to make our night special. Not to mention the food-- NY strip, mashed potatoes and broccoli. If you have one stop in Vegas, this should be it. Best service, food and atmosphere!! We will be back!!

Excellent, high end restaurant. It is extremely welcoming yet beautiful decor. The service is above par. Food was delicious and all well prepared. Wine list is extensive whether you wish a bottle or glass of wine. My family and I were celebrating a first time in LV. We didn't miss any course. We started with beef tartare and French onion soup. Following the appetizers with prime rib, strip steak and salmon. Desserts included chocolate soufflé which takes a delicious 15 mins. The other dessert was strawberry rhubarb crisp. The portions of dessert are really large enough to share. Don't miss this place. A little pricey but good for a special occasion!

Some years ago we had a disappointing first experience at the bar: two of us came in quietly to have a glass of wine and we were puzzlingly treated with condescension and dismissal. We ordered what would otherwise have been an impressive glass of Nebbiolo $49/glass by Greg Linn, not typically on the menu we were told. Thankfully the rest of dinner improved. Fast forward and we decided to return again to celebrate an important birthday. The seafood appetizer was fresh and delicious. Elderly parents have a smaller appetite so they wanted to share a steak. We ordered medium well...but it arrived fully cooked through as photo shows. Maybe because it was butterflied to make sharing easier? Even so one doesn't expect hard cooked through steak (part because it was my dad has dentures). That was disappointing, but the saving Grace was a different excellent and attentive server who made sure everything was cut up very bite-size for my dad, and with subtle wisdom he pointed out the various virtues of the numerous sauces that came along for the ride. Salmon was ideal in tenderness and flavor. My mom loved the way it was cooked. Ordered a glass of Veuve and some fries to go with it. The interior is beautiful. The cool blue elegant velvet drapes, the well-placed glass chandeliers, the Art Deco design basins in the bathrooms, and the view of the Bellagio fountains with the water show that my mom appreciated on her last visit inspired her to request returning this time. Ambiance covers a multitude of disappointments.

Opened in '98 and still not an easy reservation to get. That alone says a lot in a city where restaurants turn over faster than slot machines eat twenties. PRIME is romantic, the food is executed brilliantly, the service is top-tier, and the fountain views are always a highlight for me. I've been twice, once for a work dinner and once for my birthday, and both times felt special. The menu, crafted by an award-winning chef, delivers dishes that aren't just delicious but genuinely beautiful, the kind of plates that make detail lovers pause for a moment of appreciation. The dining room itself is drenched in deep chocolate tones and pops of delicate Tiffany blue, with a 1930s speakeasy elegance. It's perfect for special occasions, and yes, the prices are very high. But the overall experience is pretty fabulous, and dinner here stays with you for a long time. Is it worth waiting a little longer for a table outside when the weather isn't hell on earth, or at least by a window? One thousand times YES. Steaks melt in your mouth. Salads are works of art. Sides are delicious and generously sized for sharing. Cocktails arrive in properly chilled glasses. And the atmosphere is dramatic without even trying. It's a splurge, but a really, really good one.

    Tiffany Z.

Wooooooow! The view of the fountain is spectacular! The service is royalty level, the food is delicate, rich, flavorful, once in a lifetime experience. Great wine and champagne selection. We were a large group of 12 and with 5 bottles of wine, cocktails, coffee, entrees (no starters or dessert), it was about $4k so just be prepared. But sooooooo worth it and I hope to do it again (maybe with a smaller group next time)

Do the prime selection for two entree dishes have an option to be ordered as half/ for one person or is the selection for two one size only?

When we went no option to split those into an order for one.

Can you sit on the patio in this heat!?

They don't have fans or mist. I would imagine they close the patio during extreme weather conditions

Do you need reservations or can you walk in?

Highly recommend making reservations but we do accept walk-ins based upon availability!

Is it too cold outside to sit? reservation in November

No! Even if it is too cold outside, they have heaters outside and it is comfortable all year long. It's beautiful to sit outside on the outside patio.

What gluten free options side and/or bread options do you serve?

Great Gluten free options. And yes they have GF bread. They even had GF onion rings before the pandemic. Went just after and they said they didn't have them because they couldn't get food preppers at that time. Hopefully that has changed

Is there a fee to sit outside with the fountain view?

No, you just have to be lucky to score a table out there. You might be able to reserve one but they don't "guarantee" it.

With the summer being 100 degrees at night, are polos and nice shorts allowed?

Polos yes, I don't think shorts but it's Vegas so you do you. I would however tell you to skip this place entirely and go somewhere else. Jean-George's steakhouse in the aria is a thousand times better.

Can solo diners get a table or do they have to eat at the bar?

Yes you can get a solo table out in from of the fountains.. There is no bar seating..

Is this where they bring out the meat and cut the steak in front of you? I haven't been here in a while, I do not remember if its the place I'm looking for.

No, that place is called pampas Brazilian steakhouse located at planet Hollywood

Are we able to bring a bottle of wine? if so, how much is your corkage fee?

Do they give any complimentary mini desserts for birthdays?

    Yes, as of 8/2020

Are we allowed to come with 2 kids: 3 and 8 years?

While I don't know the official answer I did see tables with very young children, 4-5 years old I believe. It was really noisy so I don't think you'd have to worry.

I made an reservation this coming up January. Is it too cold to seat outside of the patio?

It may very well be in the low 30s, but call to see if they have patio heaters

Are dressy jeans acceptable for men?

Yes! Casual no sneakers or hats pretty much

How can you reserve a table outside near the fountains?

Call the number for the Bellagio and choose the option to speak with the department in charge of reservations and ask. Assuming they still have available seating, they will accommodate you. My experience was pleasant and the person who helped me,…

Can I come here for just appetizers and drinks?

Not really a good spot to do that in my opinion but if you enjoy doing that at a steakhouse I'm sure they will accommodate you.

Does the restaurant turn men away who don't wear jackets?

No it's nothing like that . We were 6 men on table last time and all of us are in shirts just one was wearing jacket

Average price per person for dinner?

Our bill was $300ish and we had 1 drink each, an appetizer, 2 entrées, and dessert. Steaks start @ $80. Food is pretty bleh though as of June 2023, not worth it now --if it was once good. Views are incredible tho, so they have that.

How long do we need to plan for dinner on a Tuesday night 5pm for 2 people? We have a show at 7pm, so I just want to be sure we have enough time if we eat here.

Reserve the 5:00 time. Go to the steps 10 minutes before hand. A line might start to form already. Join the line or start it. You'll be one of the first to dine, meaning you'll get a choice of seats. Indoors is more luxurious while outdoor has an…

Can I ask my server's name and spelling? He served my birthday he was more than perfect. I met him this time again and I want to get him next time for my dinner table again. His name is Theiry...? Or similar. The spelling was hard to remember for me.

One of our party said they wanted room temperature water instead of iced, server said they don't normally have that, but he eventually brought some, never brought the hot tea we ordered though. Pretty good selection of vittles. Egg and carb heavy IMHO. We really wanted some fruit, but that never came around until we were almost ready to leave. Almost all the hot items were served almost lukewarm. Probably due to the fact we were at one end of the dining room and the servers came in from the other end and made their rounds. Selection was pretty good , but I was craving either bacon or sausage and I never saw any making its way to our table. It did seem that by the time the servers got to our table, their trays were pretty close to empty. So maybe mixing it up a bit and starting at different corners with each rotation? But the food was good, definitely brunchie . Standouts to me were the egg benedict's (two kinds) . And the yoghurt and fruit and the berry dish. Other diners at the table thought the mini burgers and the grits were good. (The grits were too creamy for me, but that is just a personal preference) Other diners liked the flatbreads and the ubi pancakes. They do have a bottomless beverage option as well, and our server happily had the bartender prepare a couple to go drinks before we left. Final opinion, still a good deal and alternative to the buffet, especially with respect to lines and wait times... We'll be back of course, still need to get my applewood bacon.
