A classic Las Vegas steakhouse, but for me the standout was the octopus appetizer. The octopus was extremely tender and the bean salad that accompanied it was a great compliment to the dish. I also really enjoyed the snow pea side.

Good steak and appetizers to combine with the potato pureee which was banger. Good service too

Amazing experience at Craftsteak! Everything was phenomenal, from the food to the service. The skirt steak is a must-try, and the desserts were incredible. We celebrated my husband's birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable night. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and provided exceptional service. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend. The food was delicious and the staff was warm. My wife and I had the summer special which included a drink, salad, entree, and side with a $10 dessert if so desired. We enjoyed a filet, corn, pure potatoes, asparagus, monkey bread and crème brûlée. All of it was so good. The restaurant had a modern yet simple feel and tucked away from the main path.

Man, what a beautiful dining experience we had with the folks at Craftsteak. It hammered home the point that the company you keep can change an entire experience. We had a six top to celebrate my brothers wedding and it was a calm Sunday evening in the dining room. The decor is dark and has that old world vibe. We probably should have done a craft cut tasting experience because sharing all the different steaks would have been an excellent experience. Blue, our waiter, did such a great job of explaining the menu so we could make solid decisions without ordering way too much food. His style allows for the dining experience to unfold organically, rather than a forced and rushed meal. Lobster bisque --- wow! Really deep lobster flavors, succulent Maine lobster meat and the bisque was exceptionally seasoned. It truly shows when a chef and the team can hammer out a really difficult soup that just bangs with flavor. Caesar salad with pickled anchovies --- I've been in an anchovy kinda mood and this was such an exceptional dish. Pickled, fresh anchovies, with a very lemon forward profile, and freshly prepared fillets. I absolutely loved the preparation of this dish. 18 oz Prime Ribeye --- Star of the show indeed and nothing short of perfection. The cook on this meat was nicely medium, well rested, aggressively seasoned and tender, delicious, fatty ribeye. Melt in your mouth goodness with such a wonderful garlicky, herbaceous sauce. Stunning portions to share. 32 oz Porterhouse --- Massive hunk of cow and cooked to perfection. Rendered fatty goodness followed by that absolutely delicious medium rare interior. Seasoned very well, slightly Smokey finish and just an absolutely massive hunk of meat. Halibut --- Perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and such a nice tangy, caper/lemon/butter/herb sauce that compliments the flavors very well. Easily could eat this entire portion to myself. Diver Scallops --- Not my favorite dish, considering I always love to order scallops. I feel like the sear was not there, the cook was fine, but it just lacked the flavors that the other items delivered. Not a bad dish, just not my favorite. It was expensive, but, that's not news if you are into fine dining in Sin City! Shoutout to the entire Craftsteak team for making this such an amazing event. We had such a great dinner and the vibes were strong.

Obviously drawn in by the name since I'm a Top Chef fan. Visited for an anniversary dinner. Went early and was seated quickly but in the bar area. Very attentive, friendly staff. Nice ambiance, clear that it's a fine dining location. Boyfriend ordered the filet mignon and I got the scallops. Sides are large and meant to be shared so we went with the Maui onions and potato puree. We were both full after the meal. Everything was good, but not great. Total with tip was about $275 so I was expecting great, but still glad we checked it out. A one-time visit, though.

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and it was super delicious, everything is à la carte but super delicious I devoured my salmon plate that had this yuzu sauce. The service was nice it just seemed like they want you to buy dessert instead of saying happy birthday but someone other than our server decided to bring us a little dessert to sing happy birthday bless his soul. Other than that it's super nice inside super dark and intimate.

Just so happens you're at the MGM and you're looking for steak. Here's where you'd most likely end up. My entire meal consisted of Caesar salad, 16oz bone in NY Strip (medium rare) and Broccoli di ciccio. Everything was really good, but for sure all of it was too much for me. The Caesar salad had the option of adding anchovies which I did. It was really good especially with the Parmesan chips that it comes with. The NY strip was really good as they basted it with garlic and thyme (which wasn't over powering). I could have been fine without the broccoli as I was overly stuffed. But going back between the two flavors was a really good balanced that complemented very well. This restaurant is very dimly lit and is pretty crowded. Suggestion would be for sure to get a reservation if possible, but I have been able to get in here as long as you're not with too many people. If you're really hungry and you're ordering a steak, my suggestion is to get some type first course (appetizer) as you may be waiting a while for your steak to be cooked.

The hands down best restaurant I have ever been to. I have ate all of this country and high end fine dining establishment and this Craft steak at this point my 33 years takes the cake. The Wagyu Skirt steak is unlike any cut and is by far exceeds any steak to this point. Perfect Mash Potatoes and the dessert was unique while being on point for nostalgia and taste. It was a deconstructed snore with their own take. Last Marvin gave the best service and the bartenders lemonade was simply to perfection!

Came for a dinner with some business partners & coworkers. Decided to do one of the experiences. Included multiple salads/apps, different steak preparations, sides and desserts. Having the meal served family style was a great suggestion especially with 9 people. Speaking of 9 people, we all appreciated the noise seemed a little muted somehow. We were able to have conversations withour yelling down the table. Overall, really great experience. Only half of the desserts pictured.

We came to the MGM Grand and dined at Tom Colicchio's Craftsteak for a surprise birthday dinner from my girlfriend. We arrived a little before 7:30 which was the time of our reservations, and waited out front for a minute or two, and then our hostess escorted us to our table in the back. What a beautiful room to diner in, and we sat ro the far back wall where a nice wall sized a abstract painting sat behind us. Craftsman have two slightly different vibes, where you habe the vide of the bar area, and then the vibe of the main area where it more intimate. The nights order: Cocktails: Mexican Mule 19th on Fab Wine: Pinot Noir Sharables: Lobster Bisque Prosciutto & Burrata Sides: Nantes Carrots Purée Main: Diver Sea Scallops 21-day dry-aged 18 oz bone in Ribeye Once our food arrived and was sat at our table, the couple seated next to us literally said "WOW...we should've ordered that!" Lol The Lobster Bisque was delicious, and was the best Lobster Bisque I've had. And the dry aged Ribeye was literally the best steak I've even had, and I love steakhouse and dined at countless across the country. Everything was done perfectly. Note: The only kicker for my girlfriend was that when making reservations; which were a birthday surprise to me. The restaurant asked if we'd be dining for a special occasion to which she noted we were celebrating my birthday. But the restaurant didn't do anything for my birthday which she was really bummed about. I wasnt even aware until after dinner when she told me. Other than that I thought the evening was wonderful, and the food was amazing. She just was confused about asking if you're dining for a special occasion, if you're not going to do anything special. The staff was also great, amd made for a wonderful night.

Holy cow. This was a life changing meal. We were not disappointed. From the beautiful decor and classy ambiance, to the impeccable service by Francisco and Marcela. Every bite was perfection. This was one of the best meals of my life! The seafood was so fresh. The Negroni perfectly balanced. The steak was perfection. We loved the potato puree and the bread service. All the vegetables were cooked to perfection. My kids enjoyed the warm cookies. My only critique is I didn't love the crème brûlée, which is one of my favorite desserts. 9.9/10 highly recommend.

My husband and I love a good steakhouse so we decided to try MGM Grand's onsite steakhouse. We made reservations on Open Table and was quickly seated when we arrived. Beautiful and elegant restaurant, felt upscale. Our waiter promptly took our drink and food orders. My husband and I split the Fillet and Salmon and had mushrooms and asparagus as sides. Dinner was good, no complaints but it didn't have as much flavor as we had hoped for. Overall nice dinner out.

Do they charge for rolls? I can't find them on the menu

I'm pretty sure they don't. I remember we got rolls and almost positive we didn't order or pay for them.

Is it easy to get bar seating during the week?

    Yes

Do they do takeout or dine in only?

    Both

    Does this restaurant allow dogs?

I don't recall seeing a sign but I would assume no, unless it is a service dog.

    Any poultry options?

Yes, they had at least 1 chicken entree last night when I dined

I notice you had a Happy Hour in 2006, 14 years back. Has that been discontinued? I can find no other mention of it.

We no longer feature a happy hour. Thank-you for your interest.

    Can kids eat here?

    Yes, of course.

We are visiting Vegas in December for my husband's birthday. All he wants is to try the Japanese Wagyu beef. I am prepared to pay the steep price but want a really good experience. Does this restaurant have the A5 rated Wagyu beef cuts?

Hi Cristya, Yes, we do. We carry filet mignon, NY Strip and short rib. Please come and give them a…

Is it possible to share a main course? Have been there once years ago and ate 1/3 of my main course and not living locally, was unable to take leftovers home? Also corkage fee?

Yes. My wife and I always split the steak. If you ask they will slice it and put it in the center of the table. This allows us to make room for tbe excellent Monkey bread!

Do they have a corkage fee?

    $50 per bottle

    What is the dress code?

I went in shorts and sandals, they were happy to have me.

While in Vegas you should definitely get a nice steak dinner and Peter Luger is a great option…read more It's located in Caesars Palace alongside other good restaurants including the buffet. It definitely brings the NYC feel once you step inside. It was dinner time so it was quite busy but I feel like service in Vegas has figured it out - how to deliver fast friendly service. To start naturally we ordered some drinks that fit the vibe, classic strong drinks that went well with steak. While I am usually a filet mignon person, our table selected the steak for 2 which turned out to be a good amount for us. Plus the butter it's smothered in is amazing. For our other sides we selected the Caesar salad (fitting because we were in Caesar's :) and the crab cake (another favorite of mine). Note there are $$$$ signs so do not expect it to be cheap. But for the quality, taste and atmosphere it was worth it and I hope to visit the NYC location sometime as well.

I came into Peter Luger Las Vegas with sky-high expectations. As a legendary Brooklyn institution,…read moreyou expect two things: iconic dry-aged beef and crisp, sharp execution. What we actually got was sluggish, absent service and a steak cooked so poorly it belonged in a mid-tier diner. The Service: Ignored from Start to Finish Rather than the quick, direct, old-school service Luger is famous for, our experience was defined by sluggish neglect. The Wait: We spent entirely too much time trying to catch our server's eye for simple requests--water refills, order updates, and check-ins were practically non-existent. The Flow: Courses dragged, plates sat, and by the time our food reached the table, the energy of the night was already gone. When you're paying top-dollar prices, waiting around while being actively ignored ruins the entire ambiance. The Steak: A Text-Book "Grey Band" Disaster "A $180+ porterhouse should have an edge-to-edge perfect medium-rare with a roaring crust. What landed on our table looked tired and mismanaged." The Cook: The cross-section said it all. The meat had a massive, thick grey ring of overcooked, tough beef wrapping around a tiny patch of pink in the center. It was uneven, poorly rested, or left sitting under a heat lamp while service languished. Where's the Sizzle? The steak arrived dull and dry on top. The iconic Luger presentation--sizzling hot butter aggressively spooned over a glistening platter--was completely absent. The Flavor: Because of the heavy grey gradient, most bites were chewy and dry rather than tender and nutty. The Sides & Verdict The loaded baked potato topped with a mountain of bacon lardons looked great and tasted fine, but no side dish on earth can rescue an evening when the primary steak is ruined. Las Vegas has one of the most competitive steakhouse scenes in the world. With options like Bavette's, SW, and Cut just down the Strip, there is zero excuse for slow service and an amateurish cook on a flagship cut. Skip the hype and save your money. You're paying flagship prices for amateur-level execution.

We came here for a celebratory birthday for a friend and they treated us correct. Everyone had the filet and it melted as soon as we put the knife on it. I hadn't been here in quite a few years and my last experience was nothing to write home about…read more A friend suggested it for dinner and I thought I would just go along since it was a group of 6 of us. This place is......not good. I'm honestly blown away by some of the reviews. The food, the service, the vibe - it was all lacking. I eat at a lot of steakhouses, so I may have higher expectations than the average diner. Service: - Our server was very friendly, but forgot about us the entire back half of our meal (we even skipped ordering dessert because we were completely forgotten about and sat there for so long after finishing dinner). - He was not well versed in handling wine (which IMO in unacceptable for an "award winning steakhouse"). He handled the wine glasses by the bowl instead of the stem and poured extremely large servings, about 4 oversized glasses from a single bottle. Food: - The steak tartare was very thick, large chunks instead of a classic fine mince. It was served with tasteless bread that had heavy black grill marks on it. Would never order again. - The calamari and brussels were both tasty and fine. - My NY strip was so full of tendons that I couldn't even chew through it some of it. I can't remember the last time I actually left a piece of steak on my plate from a dinner. - We were ordered a flight of steak sauces and they were spread all over the table with no explanation of what was what. - As for sides, we ordered mash, mac and cheese, broccolini and cauliflower....all very average. Vibe: - completely lacked ambiance. The lighting was bright, there was no background music, and it felt more like a casual neighborhood diner than a place you'd expect to enjoy a nice steak dinner. Unfortunately, this visit reminded me why it had been years since my last visit. Between the average food, inconsistent service, and lackluster atmosphere, I left genuinely wondering how this restaurant has earned such high ratings. Summerlin has far too many incredible restaurants to justify another visit, and for a steakhouse, I'd choose T-Bones or Harlo every time.
