Finally decided to try out Del's after years of driving by. I have to start by saying that the pizza itself was really good, BUT whoever prepared it needs to work on their quantity control. I ordered the XL Works pizza and I swear there were more olives than any other topping on it, which was pretty disappointing. Also, I felt the other toppings were a bit scarce as there were less than 10 small strips of peppers and onion. So yes, i would definitely recommend this place but would probably be sure to ask for less olives than any other topping. Also staff was really friendly and that's always a plus :) read more

Okay it's been a long time since I've had a good pizza. Last night that all changed! Ohmyword, this pie was the good old fashioned type of pizza with my favorite toppings too! AND they got everything right!!! I ordered the XL half California Veggie and half The Works with red sauce on the entire pizza instead of white. Lemme just say, when my son brought it home it withstood the soggy, flimsy picture worthy complaint test! That pie had so many FRESH toppings and it was perfect! They had our order ready on time, no wait involved, plusss it was nice and hot! Super friendly and courteous service according to my son and when they took my order the girl was very friendly and professional! Ding, Ding, Ding!!! We got a winner and keeper! Del's has been consistently excellent, our family loves their pizza. We just tried their salad bar last time we dined in and it was great! All of the ingredients were extremely fresh and well chilled. I especially loved the fresh mushrooms, sliced hard boiled eggs, kidney beans, carrots, cucumbers, and tomatoes. I've ordered delivery here plenty of times, my neighbor actually suggested them I live under the 4 miles and today the delivery kid (sooo nice and respectful, cool dude) said they told him to tell me that they can't deliver to me. But they took my address and order. And asked for the cross street. We share the same cross street at im at the corner of it!! How unprofessional is that? "They told me to tell you" excuse me? And I called back after placing my order 25 mins later because I forgot to tell them the gate code. They could of told me then too. He even goes to say I don't know why they told me that, it's under the 4 miles and I got here faster then the GPS said, mind you it's STORMING outside on top of that and he still got here. Low key...unimpressed. Been wanting to try this place since it's close to the house and a small business I wanted to support! So I order a medium half pepp/half combo and garlic cheese bread. So long story short my garlic bread was literally burnt around the edges but whatevs I ate it anyways. (I'm not sure why you would give a customer something that is burnt but okay) The garlic bread was kind of bland not much flavor to it and a bit dry. It could have used a sauce for the side..(and no not ranch..tried that but wasn't doing it for me) and the pizza! Oh lemme tell you...it was very mediocre tasting too. And the pizza was literally soaked in grease it wasn't even enjoyable and the pizza eventually became so mushy we just ended up throwing away the last few slices. The ranch was probably the best tasting out of this whole meal. No complaints with the customer service though! Sadly won't be back..but best of luck to them! read more

I have been to Del's Pizza on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The ingredients are fresh and they don't skimp. The people that work there are very friendly and courteous. The prices are in the mid range as far as pizza goes. But well worth it. I got the works which consists of pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, black olives, red onions, green peppers, Italian sausage, and linguica ... I was able to substitute pineapple for the red onions. Parking has never been an issue for they are located in a strip mall on the corner of Madison and Fair Oaks blvd. I definitely recommend this place for some tasty good pizza. read more

They are not stingy with the toppings, the dough is perfect and the sauce to bread ratio is superb! Here's an update for Del's Pizza, now after several visits I'm proud to say they have my very own special pizza on the menu! It's called the Big Al Pizza! It has their own Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Red Onions, Black Olives, and chopped Garlic. Ask Rich to add some sliced Green Onions too if you wish, that's what we did tonight, and it added another layer of flavor to the pizza. Rich added my creation to his menu after he saw how delicious it looked when it came out of the oven! Delicious is how it tastes too, give it a try when you come to Del's Pizza. We got to Del's at roughly 8:25pm on Saturday night. They close at 9pm, which seems a bit early for a prime weekend night. We ordered a small pizza, wings and spaghetti w/meat sauce. The pizza was ok, but the chicken on it was super dry and tasted chalky. The spaghetti was good, but wasn't very saucey. The wings tasted like they were from a bag in the grocery aisle.
