I got the Reuben with corned beef and a side of mustard green ($15). It came out in about 15 minutes. Reuben was quite good, the corned beef was loaded quite well, it was salty but could've been a tad more moist. My favorite part was the side, I love the amount of vinegar and tartness the greens had! It was sour and spicy and I absolutely shocked that I enjoyed that more over the sandwich. The hospitality of the staff were super phenomenal, very friendly and genuine. Overall a pretty nice pit stop for food and amazing service! Food(50%): 7.2 Staff/service(25%): 9.5 Value(25%): 7.5 Overall: 7.9/10

Nice find for a casual lunch. Rustic feel of the Deep South bbq shacks in a quiet neighborhood. Friendly owner and flavors were on point. "Dragon" spice made from the dehydrated mash of their hot sauce was very flavorful and low in sodium level. While not as smoky as this bama boy likes things, but it was a nice change from the oven baked stuff many try to pass as Q around here. Brunswick stew was the best I've had outside of Georgia/Alabama. Definitely will be back, especially since they have a great set up in a greenhouse for large group.

    Best BBQ!

Definitely giving this place a shout out! We happened to be in the area camping and wanted to hit a place for lunch. We checked on yelp and found this amazing and unique place! What we found was a great place with great owners. We pulled up and the owner came to the fence to tell us they were closed due to a 400 person order they were catering. The disappointment started to come over us. Then he said he could still feed us just on a limited menu. We jumped on it. Let me tell you that bbq was amazing! He even showed us his smokers and gave us the story on his cooking clean. We even got to eat in a green house. We will definitely be back! Don't miss out you need to try this place!

Delicious Bar-be-que here. All meats are smoked on site, sauces and seasonings made in house as well. Not a traditional restaurant- feels almost more like someone's home. But the food and service are top tier,

Came on my yearly summer food road trip from Pittsburgh. Staff was super friendly and descriptive when I asked questions about the menu. Nice space between a barn like ordering counter outdoor patio. Ordered the BBQ version of a Cubano sandwich which nearly had: Pulled pork, chicken, provolone, spicy pickles, pickled peppers and onions, alabama white bbq sauce, and spicy mustard with a side of smoked Mac n cheese. The pork was cooked nicely and the blend of white bbq with mustard was a nice combination. Mac was just fine but nothing memorable. The sandwich in terms of uniqueness and quality was a home run!

WOW! We were looking for a place for lunch today, 4 of us and a big dog. So happy we found Bristol Gardens and Grill. Food - excellent, service - over the top, and ambiance - perfect. Terrific experience, we'll be back!

    Perfect hot sauce

Must stop in for a meal. So friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was so charming. Salad was fresh, meat was super tasty. Got the brisket and chicken salad to go along with some hot sauce and bbq sauce. Will make it a regular stop on our travels!

This place was a gem! In the heart of the town on the corner of two streets, this place was perfect. The owner greeted us, took our orders and they promptly brought it out to us. The coolest part is the rubs and sauces are made with items grown on the property! Oh! And if your a fan of sauces, you can try them out with your meal before making the purchase of a sauce. Great little gem in Bristol!

Stopped by on our way to Gatlinburg because we remembered how good it was 4 years ago! The service is friendly and the food is yummy! They only have seating outside or in the green house., but we enjoyed the covered screened in porch. I really liked my BBQ and felt like the portions were very generous. The macaroni and cheese is really good and I liked the green beans. My kids all raved about their entrees as well. My littlest did not enjoy her potato salad, but that's because she is used to a more mayonnaise based version. We will be back on our next trip through!

    Thank you, Matt!

Awesome hospitality and even better food. They even took extra care to work with my food sensitivities. Would recommend to anyone.

Real fresh food. Yum! Everyone was happy with our lunches: Reuben, Smokehouse Sandwich and Brisket... all with fresh salad. Very laid back.

A quick and easy detour off I-81, for amazing sandwiches. The Cuban and Veggie Grilled Cheese were stellar. Really friendly owner also.

It's a funky dive with dollar bills pasted everywhere and old Formica tables. It's said to be one of the last places Hank Williams was seen alive. Lots of history here. We ordered one maple syrup and cheddar burger and one Ruben and an order of onion rings to share. Maple syrup on a burger? Why didn't I think of that? It works. Man does it work. It gets splashed on while the beef is browning on the grill so it caramelizes. Then they add cheddar cheese. Dear Lord. The Ruben was greasy and decadent. Too rich to finish but too yummy to leave behind. A very serious problem, indeed. The onion rings were perfect- dropped in hot oil dating back to The Carter Administration. Golden. Loaded with flavor. Deadly fresh and crispy. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Really friendly and confident in what they know is going to blow your mind. Wear elastic waist pants. See your pastor/priest and settle your affairs before you go. You're going to love it.

I went with the Caesar salad, which was fresh and superb. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich with onion rings, and both were excellent. Everything came out hot and in a reasonable amount of time. Our waitress was fantastic -- attentive, friendly, and very flexible when we had a couple of special requests. Prices for the entrées seemed on the higher side for a small town, but there are plenty of soups, sandwiches, and other more affordable choices on the menu. Portions are generous and the quality is solid, so it feels like a fair value, especially if you're treating yourself for a special occasion. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily return.

I suppose proximity to the Va Creeper Trail encouraged this as I could see folk holding up a table whilst waiting would be a potential issue. We were seated promptly and given menus and served water and sodas. The rock music was pretty loud for the restaurant, which has some smaller rooms that are serviceable but cramped and a bit echoey and dark. By 12:35 our order was in and by 12:51 on our table. The table has a nice individual light, and a bottle of water on the table. Unlike some other local restaurants, soda refills are free and a pitcher was brought by the table to serve refills of diet coke. What was not good was the large beer poster of the St Paulie Girl with her nipples hanging out. I realize these are beer posters and I realize they are German and things are different there. But this was a prominently placed poster. I just wouldn't think a place where a lot of families dine would put this in such a prominent spot, or any spot really. I'm not a super prude, I just raised three sons. So the sandwich though, was very good.
