tl;dr Dispatch was great, crew was horrible…read more I want to be fair. Dispatch was professional, helpful, and the price was reasonable, especially for short notice. I wasn't pushed to give more of a tip, although I did tip more than recommended. I was initially really satisfied, but have since discovered they deliberately damaged a 6-level stacked metal card cabinet. When I included it in the inventory, I wasn't aware there were still items in the drawers. Our move was extremely chaotic, and the moving service that we used prior, checked all drawers to make sure they were empty, before moving items. People make mistakes, especially in stressful circumstances. Nonetheless, I accept that the responsibility of checking was still ultimately mine. However, if I had been made aware there were still items inside, I would have apologized, and either offered to pay more, or moved the drawers myself. After arriving at the new location, my son heard clinking sounds, as one of the movers walked past him smirking, while shaking and swinging the drawers, one in each hand. He then threw the drawers on their sides, onto one of my metal bookcases, which was apparently repeated for all 6 stacks. Between the throwing and shaking, the outer surfaces of the drawers and top of the bookcase were scratched and scuffed. The individual drawers were so badly dented that I had trouble putting several back in once removed, to retrieve the items that had been flung into the very back, past the drawers. They could have refused to take the cabinet, like they did with several boxes I had pointed out at the beginning of the move as needing to be prioritized. I had to beg and offer them more money to get those boxes onto the truck, because they said they'd already taken enough items. It wasn't until they called dispatch that they were told I had preemptively paid more the day before, because I didn't want to risk undercounting the boxes and other items. Dispatch said I didn't owe anything more, and told them to take the boxes. I was trying to understand why this crew didn't simply decline to move the cabinet, like with the boxes. They would have been well within their rights, because it violated their company's policy. Given the smirking and throwing, the only conclusion I can make is that this crew found messing with customers and damaging their items, fun.

It was so gross that the staff didn't even want to go in there... I did and it was awful. I moved to another unit but lost the expense rug since it could not be repaired... made matters worse my renters insurance didn't cover it since they looked at it as negligence on the part of CS and so upsetting... CS Managment did do anything either so I was just out on many fronts... To top it all off, as many have already said, they increase their costs too damn often it's insane... sure understand things increase but this is ridiculous... such price increases don't even make sense except just price gouging and feeling like they are holding us hostage in a way! I'm still using them but as others have mentioned, I'm not happy with their price increases either... 42% increases are to damn much!

I feel it is also secure. Cons: They constantly raise their rates usually around 16 to 24%. On the unit I have, they just raised the rates (again). From last February 2024 to this February 2025, my rate has gone up 42%. When I first moved in, they had seven carts to help you move your items. Four have gone missing and have never been replaced. Now when I go there, I sometimes have to wait awhile for a cart, or leave and come back. And last, of the two elevators, one seems to go out of service every so often. I can deal with the elevators and the carts, but the steady increase in rates is too much for me.

Most of my belongings were saturated and ruined and I had to throw them out. Storage Post offered no compensation and even insisted on full payment of rent due til I gave up the unit at the end of the billing period in mid Sept. I was told by a mover that the building also flooded during Sandy. I would not recommend this facility, even on the higher floor, as i assume mold is present throughout the building due to the ground floor damage.

They kept the doors open for my transfer from one unit to another and opened the gate each and every time I needed it. The place is clean and easy to get to. They all you a few days before payment is due so you don't pay fees either. Price is a bit high but I think storage is expensive. I think is is a cool spot if you need a place to drop off some stuff. At the last minute, to have their employee Abi tell me that her colleague was incorrect in telling me the date of a late fee, and that I was going to have to pay $25 anyway notwithstanding my reliance on her colleague's advice, and then to have their totally unsatisfactory staff Inari unilaterally change their longstanding grace period policy and charge me some $50 to access my unit, even though I was within the 10 day grace period, is unconscionable and outrageous.
