The car wash is a good, mostly touchless experience which is good for the car's finish. Gas has an excellent price especially if you take all the discounts (pay with Delta Sonic card from your checking.) Major complaint is wash lines get VERY long and move very slowly. Don't even bother on the first nice day after a wintry stretch. read more

Quick and convenient. The monthly plan is not too expensive. However, I wish they use a professional towels to dry out the little water on the car after a wash. I do tip well and I appreciate those young men and women who work there but not impressed with how they dry the water using rough/unsoft towels. read more

I get my gas almost exclusively from Delta Sonic, my car washes exclusively from there, and I almost always visit the Penfield location. That being said, this place is a bit of a hot mess. It's nice, yes, but such a struggle to navigate that it negates the niceness. There are (many) free vacuums and the card reader knows when you enter your Delta Sonic card so you don't have to enter it twice. The cars waiting for a car wash block the gas pumps, there are people walking all over the place asking for money (this is a challenge in terms of safely finding a pump), and the worst part to me is if you go for a car wash you can't get gas after! This basically requires you to buy a wash at the pump because otherwise it's three left turns to get back in the lot (and deal with the aforementioned issues a second time). I try to avoid this location, but it's near my work so I tend to tolerate it more frequently than I would like. read more

Delta Sonic is arguably most popular carwash chain in town. Expect long lines (especially after several consecutive days of bad weather). The good news is that the lines are constantly moving. Delta Sonic will almost always try and upsell you on some promotion or package. I typically decline because the quality of the wash seems to be the same regardless of how much you pay. Additionally, on times when my truck wasn't spotless, I immediately circle around for second wash. The best addition to this location is the free vacuum station. I use this all the time! Love it! It helps keep my car tidy in between detailing appointments. read more

The gas area is a nightmare as it is always packed and people simply do not look when they pull away after getting gas. It is like East Ave Wegman's sister parking lot. If you are female and getting gas here, you are almost definitely going to get checked out in great detail and/or talked to whether you want to or not. I hate this and try to stick to just getting my car washed. The car wash is no different than the Delta Sonic in Henrietta but the people doing the wipe down are not as friendly. Some of them will act like you are annoying them by making them do their job. I always tip but it doesn't matter. It is close to my apt which is the only reason I get car washes here. read more

This place damaged my brand new car. Their unprofessional employees denied it! The truck in front of me left the track early, my car wheel turned far both ways then I heard a bang on the front left. Brand new car now with a gouged mag wheel. It's the center of the wheel and the manager said maybe a tire spray brush but then denied it in writing. They wrote me a letter said I was a liar. Really? a brand new car with no marks on it..... insulting. I have gone back once to another one and I see now it was the tire brushes at the end that did this. I feel the need to express how genuinely satisfied I am with the experience I had at the East Main Street, Rochester Delta Sonic location today. My vehicle (who I've named Archie) was purchased used and when I received him he hadn't been properly detailed. I needed to have him washed but I held off through a summer of camping trips and long drives. Finally my boyfriend convinced me it was time. So off we went and got in line to give Archie the wash he needed. The express line was having trouble and our line attendant happily went to assist that customer and then promptly took care of the customer in front of us. Then he cheerfully introduced himself to us and got us right on our way. We went through the wash and got to the hand dry station. The manager Scott immediately came over and apologized because he felt we needed to go through the wash again. He walked us back to the line and instructed special washing for Archie. We went through again and came back to the hand dry station. He gave us another look over and said we would still need work. For our trouble he offered us whatever add-ons we'd like for free. Then the hand-dryers Ramon and Diamond took terrific care of us. Archie not only got the spa day he needed but we got fantastic service. It is a really tricky spot to get in and out of because of the layout. The car wash entrance is basically the exit for the gas station and people who get their car washed are in a race against time to get back to the entrance. So watch out so you don't get killed. It is very busy around the time people go to/from work so that can be a headache. But the prices are great so if I can't make it out to Henrietta I always stop here. read more

They accidentally charged my card an extra $16, when I called the woman on the phone was rude and told me I had to go down there. When I did go back they made me wait quite awhile for the manager who did refund the money but offered me nothing for the trouble or even apologized. read more

I just had my interior cleaned. Everything looked great until I checked the trunk. It was not touched. When I called to ask about the oversight I was told you have to request the trunk to be cleaned. The locations themselves are great :) Professional, kind and everything else one would really like in an employee/experience who takes care of customers. BUT if you end up having to make a claim for damages incurred to your vehicle, from my experience anyway, you're screwed!! I had to initiate the contact to corporate (never an email..as I was promised, phone call, nothing) to find out what was happening and gave them 4 business days to contact me. This claim was filed on the 19th of June!! Since then I contacted corporate 3-4 times to check on the progress and then contacted a local D.S. where the part (just a small, piece of a door strip) and was and again lied to in relation to someone "calling me back." I was always lied to about that and it just happened again today. So here it's the 9th of July and I'm waiting to hear back (just called, guy not available at that time) so consequently I must say that will all my dealing over the years with customer service scenarios, this is right up there with the worst of them....unprofessional, lie after lie and ridiculous. And to clarify, I've been dealing a lot lately with customer service related issues and stores on account of the work which I do. Hopefully I'll never have to file a claim again and would imagine my experience couldn't possibly be any worse than this one....may not even be possible! read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I bought the unlimited pass and never saw or was able to use any sort of express lane. I went through the wash a few times and still had salt on my car when I left. I went there just a few days ago and they were "closed due to extreme weather" even though other car washes were still open. I tried multiple times to get the attendant to come and answer a couple of my questions but he just continued to walk away from me and yell at me to go inside. I parked my car and went inside to cancel my account. They told me that they couldn't do it and to go back outside. I told them I just got sent inside. Instead of helping me they decided to go back and forth about who sent me inside and why they were so stupid. Long story short the 10+ employees who were scheduled could not help me with my simple request and instead they gave me an 800 number to call. I called the number the next day at 4:55pm and waited on hold for a few minutes. At 5pm sharp they cut the phones off and my call on hold just went to dead air. I called the next day during their "operating hours" and explained all the trouble I went through just to cancel my plan. They didnt even address my complaints, just ignored them and cancelled my plan. Worst customer service ever!!!!!!!!!! read more
