[[HIGHLIGHT]]A true diner experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the classic breakfast with a stack of pancakes. Service was quick and to the point. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a total local joint and full of regulars, you can just tell.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was happy to make this stop, even though the food was very basic, because of the overall experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a warm spot to start off the day with a cup of coffee and a basic breakfast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Veggie omlet

I had the veggie omelet that had mushrooms, broccoli and onion. It only included two eggs while most places offer a three egg omelet. I knocked down the rating one star for the serving sizes. I had the salad in lieu of hash browns. There seemed like there was sufficient staff to handle the number of people. I did not have any problems with service. The prices were reasonable but the serving size was on the smaller side. I would return if going out for breakfast. It is at a convent location in Watertown.

No frills, old school diner, which is exactly what a diner is supposed to be. Long bar counter seating and good amount of booth seatings. Looks old school but very clean. They have a lot of regulars that come in, where they knew their names and last orders. The servers were quick and attentive. The moment we sat down, our server came by to get our drink orders. Large menu selection of breakfast and lunch items. We got the deluxe egg sandwich (you can choose between a variety of breads or bagels) and hungry man plate (this was a large portion - we chose bagel and pancakes (not shown, ate it then remembered, but you get 2 fairly big pieces). Place normally gets pretty packed but today it was little less than half full probably due to credit cards machine were down, so was cash only for today).

Waffle, hungry person platters, spicy Portuguese pork sausage.

Like this place, the service is quick and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Old school style, but clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There offer quite options. The waffle is made with the same of their pancakes batter, I like it.

I've been here around 4-5 times and I love it. Definitely my #1 breakfast place in the area. Service is always great. Food is well priced. Menu is HUGE. Food is delicious. The sour cream flapjacks are crazy good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]+ it's a train car?!? It is so cute and a lovely place to eat[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love it here! Recommend sooo much!!!

Add this place to your list! This is a classic diner with great food and great service. The portions are huge and the menu has reasonable prices. My go to is the deluxe colossal hungry person special. You get your choice or a short stack of pancakes or French toast, two eggs any style, homefries, toast, a protein, and bottomless coffee for $15. The pancakes and the homefries are my favorite!! They have a ton of seating, but if it's too busy you could always sit at the bar. Regardless it's worth the wait. There is street parking, but that can get hard when it's busy. This is in Watertown so there isn't a train. Love this place! I'd go to this diner so much more if I lived closer.

    Big hungry man breakfast

The girl who took my order didn't really give us a chance to look at the menu, stared, and rushed me when I was speaking which threw me off a bit. They also serve you through a window (looks like a makeshift drive-thru, or "walk-thru") which is cool, but I noticed the same girl was getting easily annoyed when customers weren't quick to receive their order. She also made my coffee in a unique way which really surprised me. They have a giant jug of iced coffee that they keep in the bottom cabinet, instead of having drip or brew. The coffee itself was pretty decent, though. My ham and cheese crepe was okay but there was not enough ham or cheese, it was mostly just egg. My friend's portion was also small but the food was good. I think I would give it another shot.

Ambiance Very cozy inside, cute decor and a small seating area with about 6 tables available Food Personally thought portion size was very generous, I had half an omelette still unfinished and toast. The potatoes unfortunately were not flavorful alone but pairs well with ketchup! The chai latte could be hotter in the coffee cup but tasted beautifully Service To go order was prepared very quickly, from ordering to receiving took maybe 10 minutes. A true family run local restauarant. Very kind staff/owners and courteous to customers Tip Pay in cash! I don't know how they get any traffic with the sign they have. It was cold inside. Time to turn on the heat. The Spot has a counter in back with a few bakery items. There were eight tables in front. The walls were filled with eclectic items. They have a woman that waits on the tables, provides menu and serves. She spends all her time behind the counter rather than waiting on tables. I ordered a Sara's omelette that includes three vegetables and 3 eggs. I chose spinach, mushroom and broccoli. I had fruit cup of melon, pineapple, cantaloupe and strawberries in lieu of toast and hash browns. The omelet was very good with lots of veggies inside. The fruit cup was on the small size but it beats additional carbs. I had to wait for my bill. I think they forgot about me. I finally had to get up and ask for bill. I would have to try again before I would pass judgement.

The perfectly preserved railcar diner (even down to the original refrigerator and clock on the wall) is only one of a few dozen still operating as a diner out of the hundreds that built by the Worcester Lunch Car Co. in the 1940s and 1950s. Maria Kitidis Mackay and her father George bought the diner in January 2020 and one or both of them are usually working the griddle daily.. as they were when I recently visited. I recently stopped in for breakfast two days in a row while visiting friends in Concord and the food was excellent both times. On my first visit, I had the two-egg platter ($8) with a unique Greek loukaniko sausage (+$7). The next day, I had the same platter with traditional pork sausage links (+$3). Both platters came with home fries and toast, and everything was incredibly fresh, hot, and really tasty. My dining companion also thoroughly enjoyed her meals and the classic diner ambiance. She tried the Florentine benedict ($14), which came topped with perfectly sautéed spinach and tomato, and on the next visit went with the spinach and feta omelet ($13). Our servers stopped by a few times to ensure everything was good. The only minor disappointment we experienced was that our servers didn't offer to refill our coffee, but otherwise, it was a fantastic visit. Maybe I should have asked? It is a terrific experience all around. Highly recommend checking this place out if you want great food, unique history, and a classic diner atmosphere! Even taking away a 1/2 star for our coffee snafu, it's still a solid 4.5 stars for the overall experience -- rounded up to 5 stars. PRO TIP: Bring cash. Wilson's does not accept credit cards.

For food we ordered the eggplant sando and the chicken piccata sandwich. While both tasted good, I was surprised at how much more I enjoyed the eggplant one. The chicken sandwich was also good with thin layers of chicken, and flavored well. However I liked the chicken where as for eggplant I felt the sandwich as a whole worked well. I would have loved more of it, because the bites that did get some were absolutely delicious in enhancing flavor with the egg. The sandwich itself is larger than expected, bigger than a typical slider which was a pleasant surprise. I also ordered an incredible Apple Cheddar biscuit on the side.
