Three veggie omelette with side of wheat toast and home fries

Ordered to go! Classic breakfast/brunch spot. Wish I could stay and eat but was in a rush. A cute spot that's warm and inviting! Ambiance Very cozy inside, cute decor and a small seating area with about 6 tables available Food Personally thought portion size was very generous, I had half an omelette still unfinished and toast. The potatoes unfortunately were not flavorful alone but pairs well with ketchup! The chai latte could be hotter in the coffee cup but tasted beautifully Service To go order was prepared very quickly, from ordering to receiving took maybe 10 minutes. A true family run local restauarant. Very kind staff/owners and courteous to customers Tip Pay in cash! As expected any small business family run shop prefers cash - or you'll get a 3% fee for credit card processing!

This is a very cozy cafe with good food for an unbeatable price. My order: latte, French toast breakfast (home fries with choice of bacon, ham, or sausage- I chose bacon) The latte was one-of-a kind. It arrived and the layers of espresso and milk and foam looked like they were dancing. The French toast was good. Thin slices of what I'm assuming was baguette. I would have liked to see stronger seasoning in the batter or a thicker slice of bread - but no complaints here. The home fries were good, again, I would have liked to see maybe a crispier fry, with a little bit of a spicy kick. Bacon was very thin, but you got three pieces. There was also a nice small bonus of fresh fruit ( just a couple of pieces of cantaloupe, honey-dew melon, and a couple slices of a strawberry. A nice touch! All in all, with tax and tip, this was $15 per person, and you can't go wrong with this. The staff was also lovely, and there is plenty of free parking. I'd go here again!

Spot cafe is a small, family run diner with tea pots as the central theme of the cafe. The front is adorned with a teapot collection for sale. While it's very small, they still manage to be understaffed. We didn't get our order taken till at least 15 mins later. Home fries was a miss. Maybe it was just our batch but they were dull, dry, and flavorless. While dishes like their french toast may be instagram worthy, the overall flavors of everything we ordered didn't leave a lasting impression to come again.

Breakfast Omelet Sandwich. DOUBLE THE EGGS MEAT AND CHEESE! Taste great just a little too small.

I used to eat at the New Yorker Dinner when in Watertown visiting my uncle. I always enjoyed it as it was full of firemen and cops and had a boston feel. They've been closed due to the current state of affairs so I stumbled upon this place. Run by an Egyptian Family, the staff is amazingly friendly including the 7 year old helping out as a waiter. The omelet sandwich was the most appealing but my parents asked what the owners favorite item was. We were between breakfast and lunch so we decided to go each way. I got the omelet sandwich on a croissant and was very pleased. Tasted great but just wasn't quite big enough to fill me up for breakfast, my only knock. I assume it's a two egg omelet if I went back I'd ask them to double the eggs. I had half of my mother's chicken and rice dish and it had amazing flavor and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Now, if you were going for lunch, and knew the chicken was there GET THE CHICKEN AND RICE. If you're showing up for breakfast and in the mood the omelet sandwich is a good choice. Very friendly staff will be back.

I found my new brunch place! We arrived on a rainy Saturday morning, expecting the wait to be over an hour long (like other brunch places), but were pleasantly surprised when we were seated in just under 10 minutes. The cafe is small, with less than 12 seats in the entire area, but the restaurant exuded so much warmth and coziness. Service was so friendly. We especially loved the older lady at the counter, who was our main server. She was very sweet and attentive. My fiance and I ordered Erin's Waffle Breakfast and Two Eggs Your Style, while our friend ordered Luba's Omelet. We also got hot chocolate and a chai latte. The waffle was very delicious. I don't know what batter they used or how long they cooked it for, but the waffle was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Both the eggs and the omelet were also cooked well. The bacon was crispy, but small, and I especially enjoyed the home fries. This place is a little gem and I cannot wait to go back! There's even a small parking lot.

    Great breakfast! Omelette and parfait!

Stopped in for breakfast the weekend after Thanksgiving and found now wait which was a pleasant surprise. Had a fruit parfait with super fresh fruit, some granola, and yogurt and it came with a side of bread ( I up-charged for a baguette/but I should have went for the sourdough). My friend had an omelette with home fries and toast. We both had iced-teas which were very good. On the pricier side at $30 for two breakfasts and iced tea but worth it!

The perfectly preserved railcar diner (even down to the original refrigerator and clock on the wall) is only one of a few dozen still operating as a diner out of the hundreds that built by the Worcester Lunch Car Co. in the 1940s and 1950s. Maria Kitidis Mackay and her father George bought the diner in January 2020 and one or both of them are usually working the griddle daily.. as they were when I recently visited. I recently stopped in for breakfast two days in a row while visiting friends in Concord and the food was excellent both times. On my first visit, I had the two-egg platter ($8) with a unique Greek loukaniko sausage (+$7). The next day, I had the same platter with traditional pork sausage links (+$3). Both platters came with home fries and toast, and everything was incredibly fresh, hot, and really tasty. My dining companion also thoroughly enjoyed her meals and the classic diner ambiance. She tried the Florentine benedict ($14), which came topped with perfectly sautéed spinach and tomato, and on the next visit went with the spinach and feta omelet ($13). Our servers stopped by a few times to ensure everything was good. The only minor disappointment we experienced was that our servers didn't offer to refill our coffee, but otherwise, it was a fantastic visit. Maybe I should have asked? It is a terrific experience all around. Highly recommend checking this place out if you want great food, unique history, and a classic diner atmosphere! Even taking away a 1/2 star for our coffee snafu, it's still a solid 4.5 stars for the overall experience -- rounded up to 5 stars. PRO TIP: Bring cash. Wilson's does not accept credit cards.

The space is tight for a buffet, and we were glad to just miss being seated right next to where the diners were lining up for the buffet. They seemed to be a bit short-staffed as our server was attending to a section that included two large parties -- one of about 12 and another of 8 -- in addition to the smaller tables including ours. She came as soon as we were seated but only explained we could go up at any time and promised to bring water. We waited for her to return to take our beverage orders but finally grew impatient and got in line for the buffet. The buffet selections were scrumptious--breakfast and lunch options. The chicken and waffles seemed to be the most popular and the tray was empty when I got to it but a new batch arrived momentarily -- thank goodness! Yummy as I expected. I also had scrambled eggs and link sausages. I passed on a few other things like eggs benedict (the last in the tray which is never ideal). In hindsight the ideal time to arrive seemed to be about a half hour after your seating time, as by then the lines to the buffet were minimal (that's when I headed back for seconds). Oh and when I finally got to order my old-fashioned, it was delish. There is an attached parking garage (the red garage) and if you park at the right end of the building you just take the elevator to ground level and the restaurant is a few steps away. I'm not sure I'd return for the special celebration seatings. The price is right but the logistics, seating, slow service and lapse in keeping trays full of hot food would give me pause. On a regular day, however, no contest.

The biscuits and gravy were dry with not a lot of gravy so we ordered extra gravy and that didn't come to the table until the end of our meal. The gravy was crap. Everything needed salt. On top of the food that showed up being gross, the French toast never showed up until after everyone was finished. They took off half of our meal, but I would not recommend.
