When you're in the mood for brunch in Waltham, everyone definitely thinks of In A Pickle. I must say, their staff are undoubtedly some of the nicest staff around! They're always so sociable & kind. In terms of food, their menu is vast to say the least. They have a ton of options from basic items like eggs & toast to oreo loaded pancakes. In A Pickle's portions are also VERY generous. Honestly, I think their greatest strength is definitely their pancakes. Those were some of the fluffiest & most perfect bluberry pancakes ever! We were definitely surprised by the standard breakfast plate because they didn't nail the basics. The breakfast potatoes were soggy and the sausages were so bland. The sourdough didn't even taste of sourdough tbh. I'd probably skip the basics next time but those pancakes are a definite yes.

We stopped by for brunch on Easter and the wait wasn't too bad! Their menu was bigger than I expected, but we decided to go with something sweet. The cookie dough pancakes were good and the berry French toast was delicious!

From the outside, it seems like a very cool concept. Kind of a fun brunch place that might have alot of pickle themed items. It's not really even that. Unfortunately not even the pickle I received with my wrap was good. One bite of the mooshy pickle was enough to put it down for good. Let's start with the pros... service! The waitstaff is awesome. Hands down some of the best service ever. It was 3 women working and they were all on point. 5 stars for service. Beyond that, it reminded of when Friendlys (the chain restaurant) was heading in the wrong direction. The food seems very generic like it was ordered from the supplier and just prepared as is without any flare or personal touch. From the outside it seems like it might be some trendy brunch spot with creative menu items and lots of pickle influences. Don't get me wrong, the prices are very good. That's a huge plus. Ordered the southwest chicken wrap because it had a green square which seemed to be the indication for the recommended favorites. Fries were not fresh and i left the plate of them. The wrap itself was one I might get from a cafeteria style place. The coleslaw was superb though. 5 stars for the slaw. They serve the breakfast menu even at night which is a big plus. And as I said, the prices are very good. I fully expected to see something like spicy fried pickle chips on the menu, but no dice. The dinner menu is mainly sandwich based with some burgers and salad options. I wanted to give the 5 stars because the staff was so awesome. The food just isn't something I would return for at night when I want dinner. Breakfast seems to be highlight here. It might earn 5 stars if I came for brunch or breakfast and did the usually fare.

In a pickle restaurant is a fine establishment. I have been there a few times now. Now I can say with reasonable confidence that you should go there too. In this post I will focus on their breakfast specials where the price for two special breakfasts is ~$11! This is a steal in this economy! You will have to get there before 9 am on weekends though. They have the same specials on the weekdays too. The breakfasts we had had rye toast, three eggs done your style, home fries, and a protein of your choice (bacon, sausages, ham). The home fries were well seasoned and had a good amount of crispy bits in them. We had an extra side of pancakes. They were hefty and fluffy and the same time. The service was good and the ambiance was family friendly. All in all, I enjoyed going there and will return. PS: Their chicken and waffles are also great!

A great find in Waltham. The menu is so vast the hardest part is choosing what to eat! I was rushing the family to get out of the hotel on a Saturday morning and get here before it got too busy. I checked the waitlist and it said no waiting so we were able to get a table quickly. Jenna did a great job of taking care of us. The coffee is nice and strong. I enjoyed the Moody omelette. It was fresh without being too filling. Great roasted potatoes and I have cinnamon raisin toast for the first time in many years. My wife and daughter split the Ringer. So much food! The pancakes are huge. Definitely big enough to split. A lot of young folks working here with smiles on their faces. A really good experience.

I love In A Pickle! Love love their hot honey and buttercream chicken and waffles and their loaded berries french toast. Portions are huge! Weekends can have a wait but you can get on a waitlist ahead! They now have brunch for dinner as well as their weekly specials. The loaded chili hotdog was amazing. A lot of indoor seatings as well as outdoor seating in the summer.

Ok ok I been seeing a lot of hype about these pancakes for a minute so I had to go try them and this is my true opinion..... They wer ok the pancake it self was little hard and not soft or fluffy definitely need some work The Oreo stuff inside was amazing and delicious definitely worth it worth it and a bang for your buck. The service was good quick and fast The place it self is nice and clean and welcoming! A nice spot.

I absolutely do NOT like leaving negative reviews about anywhere that serves food, but when you TREAT ME AND MY WIFE LIKE WE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BELONG IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT, then I have a problem. The food was good, but when you make me feel like I'm second class, the taste of the food isn't the same. My wife and I came from Los Angeles and read about this location from a Guy Fieri review, we thought, "oh let's go here". Instead, your hostess looked at us awkwardly, wanted to sit us at the end of a table that at the other end, you have four men giving us dirty looks, and you're waiter, Flynn S, also makes us feel unwelcomed and decides to constantly look around to see if he HAS to help us. We're more than happy to spend, but regret going if this is what service was going to be like. For my first visit, it definitely will be my last.

In A Pickle does know how to make someone's day, even when it's hot! We walked past the place and they were handing out free chocolate and vanilla ice cream for both their customers and those just passing through. Very friendly staff & made our day :) Been here before, but definitely make us want to go back for more.

We were seated in a high top across from the bar. Our server, Hannah, was pleasant and cordial. My wife ordered the southwestern salad and I ordered a burger with a $2 upgrade to make the tater tots "garlic". Her salad comes and is much smaller than expected for $18. My burger came and I ordered it medium rare and it was well done. I sent it back to be refired to the proper temp and while I waited I ate the tater tots. I expected a $2 upcharge to be at least fresh garlic but it was garlic powder. On top of that, when I finished the tots(before the second burger) there was a pool of oil at the bottom of the basket plus 2 pools that leaked onto the table. The refired burger came back via a food runner, not a manager, and this burger was also not medium rare but I was hungry so I ate it. When we let Hannah know about the out l oil she explained that they regularly are cleaning up oil and not to worry about it. I'll be going to the Muffin House down the road from now on. Cazuela de Coliflor Asada (9/10): Insanely good dish. The cauliflower has perfect texture, complemented by the pistachios. The sauce is SO good. The cauliflower soaks it up so well. Chicharrones (9/10): Melt in your mouth pork belly. The pork skin crust was perfect. The sauces really make most of the dishes here. This dish is no different - I loved the sauce. Our server was happy to return it to the kitchen and it came out after not too much time had elapsed, the way she'd ordered it. I'm always skeptical that ribs will be fall-off-the-bone but these were close. Unfortunately, they seemed a little off; I still can't decide if they were on the dry side, lacking in flavor, or both.
