Second time here. Service and food is spot on. Drinks And food arrive in a reasonable time and is temperature appropriate. The portions are extremely generous and full of flavor. Their happy hour is the best around. If you want to get your Greek On definitely come Visit Livermore and stop in at DT you will not be disappointed.

Took a group of 13 people out for lunch to celebrate staff birthdays. We were beyond impressed by the service and meal together. The owner personally made sure we were comfortable. We will be back!

The drinks and food menu looks very good. There is pasta with gyro meat options which is very rare, sandwiches, burgers, kababs so really good selection of food.. The bread they serve before the food is truly awesome. We ordered chicken Souvlaki, Falafel Pita, Mediterranean pasta and it was good.OK. I wish they had lamb only gyro or chicken only but that's ok.

Looking for Greek food? Authentic Greek food? Look no further Demitris has it.. No frills here. Food and service were great. Will be back again when in the area and looking forward in trying other items off their menu.

Great service by Terri! Drinks were good. Food was good. The Greek salad was best I've had in a while.

We used Demitri's Taverna for catering at our son's first birthday party this past weekend and we were blown away. We ordered the Agora Pita Bar with Gyro and Chicken, and every single thing tasted fresh, warm, and perfectly seasoned. Our family kept commenting on how delicious it was and how easy it was to build their own plates. The catering portions were generous and made hosting stress free. If anyone in Livermore is looking for Mediterranean catering for birthdays, holidays, or family gatherings, I can't recommend Demitri's enough.

The staff member was helpful and nice and let us sampled some flavors before we decided on one. The hazelnut was delicious, but we ended up getting a scoop of the almond. The almond flavor was very present, which we liked. There were also little almond bits. The texture of the gelato itself was creamy and smooth. It did melt really quickly though. Even when we were first handed the cup, it was already melting. That's the only thing I wished was different. This was my first time here so I could only speak from this one experience. The ambiance is cute with a small closed off glass area of wine and two seater table inside! Our waitress Dominique was amazing. She was able to give great recommendations for wines and food. She also made us feel taken cared of and was friendly/warm. The food is a mix of mexican/euro/american so there were a lot of different options. Here are the things we got: Appetizers - Parm crusted cauliflower: so good, nice and crunchy but not too heavily breaded. The chipotle mayo was delish - Chicharrones: so light and crispy! They were hot out of the fryer. It had a side of a corn cheese dip that was so good and made it more unique of a dish -- must try if you even kind of eat chicharrones. I don't generally like pork skin but I enjoyed it regardless. - Hamachi ceviche: this is a large sharing portion with chunks of hamachi and avocado. Good but not a must have. Entrees - Enchiladas: very cheesy and overall a good dish but I would skip this. - Shrimp tostadas: large size shrimp and it just comes with two tostadas so I don't think it was worth the price - Barramundi fillet: The fish was tender and juicy. I liked the marinades that came with it. I liked this dish with the rice because it made me feel homey. Good portion of fish. - Agua Chile Ribeye: This is a must have! The ribeye is sous vide so it was soo tender and juicy. The broth was really nice to keep everything moist and flavorful. Unfortunately, the food experience didn't live up to the service. Charging extra for chips and salsa at what is essentially a Mexican restaurant (even if it's branded as "Southwestern") was disappointing, especially when the salsa portion was so small. Chips and salsa are such a staple that it felt out of place to pay extra for them. The biggest issue, though, was the tortillas. They weren't heated, which made them feel dry and mealy and they fell apart while eating the tacos. The steak itself was flavorful, but the tortillas made it difficult to enjoy what could have been a really good dish. I genuinely hope they make a few adjustments because the people there were fantastic, the drinks were excellent, and this place has a lot of potential.

Range Life was one of those discoveries, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I've had in years. I started with the Halibut Crudo, followed by the Sonoma Coast Ling Cod, and finished with the Milk & Honey dessert. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The Halibut Crudo was fresh, delicate, and perfectly balanced. The Ling Cod was cooked flawlessly and paired with ingredients that complemented rather than competed with the fish. Then came the Milk & Honey dessert. Without question, it was the best dessert I've ever had. And that's saying something because I've enjoyed some incredible desserts over the years. The textures, flavors, and creativity came together in a way that was unforgettable. It wasn't just dessert--it was an experience. I don't particularly enjoy dining alone, but the food was so exceptional that it didn't matter. From the first course to the last spoonful, every dish had its own personality. The restaurant was lively and energetic, the service was attentive, and the entire experience felt intentional from start to finish. Some meals fill your stomach. Others create a memory. This one did both. I'll absolutely be back.

They sell a ham & cheese croissant, coffees, teas, lattes, and four flavors of Japanese shaved ice called kakigori, which is the star of the show. The texture of this shaved ice is like fluffy cool softness that melts in your mouth. It is different than the traditional shaved ice and it is far from a snow cone. We ordered mango and kinako (a roasted soybean flour commonly mixed with sugar). These are large desserts! It takes time to make them since there are fresh ingredients inside. The mango was superb with little bits of fresh mango buried inside the ice. Not sickeningly sweet like the syrups most places use. My husband's had little mochi pieces mixed inside. It is common to add kinako to mochi so this was a bonus and a nice surprise. The kinako dessert was sweeter than the mango. Please know that there seems to be no a/c in this little shop but she has fans going. We went in the late afternoon so it was really uncomfortable inside. I had to leave and wait outside until the dessert was ready. It's hard to take these home as it melts fast so we sat inside to enjoy them. It was like heaven in my mouth and it cooled me down instantly. You must be patient as it takes at least 10-15 minutes for her to prepare the desserts but it is worth the wait! There is a small parking lot right in front shared with other businesses. Located right off the freeway behind Burger King.

Yes, I got here on a Saturday with no reservations. I definitely understood having to wait under those circumstances and I was okay with that. I was told it would be 20 minutes. What I want to focus on is that we were the next group to be seated. There was only two of us. Another group with 4 people walked in about 15 min later after us with no reservations but they were seated almost immediately. The hostess did not acknowledge us nor said anything. Awhile after that I counted 3 different groups leaving - a tota of 8 people. We waited patiently and kept waiting thinking we would be seated. 20 minutes slowly pass by, then another 5, then another 5.. I looked over and saw two tables completely empty. I was literally outside the door after about 45inutes and my phone buzzed. Come to find out that they had 3 open tables available the entire time. The decor is tiki themed along with the drinks however the music playing in the background was jazz. Not sure how that fits the theme. Also, the drinks averaged about $20 and small bites and desserts ranged from $13-$20. I'm torn about wanting to return here.
