There didn't seem to be handicap parking. Service was slow. They told our party that they were understaffed. The staff were very friendly. Food was not warm and tested at 125 degrees F which is well below the 165 degrees F mandated by the Ohio Department of Health Food Code Reference Guide greatly compromising the health of immuno repressed individuals of which there were five in our party of eight. Everything was decent but not great, including the service. The garlic knots seemed to be pre-baked then warmed. I think this is the case because our knots were room temp in the middle. This isn't a huge deal but I expected more considering they are charging about 8 bucks for those bits of dough. We ordered: Knots Pepperoni pizza Chicken parmigiana Tiramisu. The bill came to about $50. It seemed pretty steep for the quality. In the future I will probably go to Figlio and spend about the same money at higher quality. read more

This is a wonderful local Italian eatery with a family friendly atmosphere and the friendliest staff in town. I had the Chicken Alfredo and found it to be watery and lacking seasoning. I just arrived to town today for a short visit. Was hungry after a day of travels and am so glad to have found Demnika's! I ate the Eggplant Parmesan with a Greek side salad and it was AMAZING!! The sauce had a perfect homemade consistency, the eggplant was cooked just right and I really enjoyed my conversation with the family that owns the restaurant. Hidden diamonds in the rough like this place are experiences that I look for when visiting new cities. Give it a try! read more

Marketing fail for Demnika's Italiano in Kettering. We saw an ad that they were having anniversary celebration specials today, so...try it out. Suspicious, when waiting to be seated, as they were full, that only a couple tables had food. All others still had menus in front of them. We got a table only when a couple walked out. Gentlemen behind us in line inquired about carry out, was told it would be near 2 hours. He left. After 5 minutes, without even drink order, I asked a family at adjoining table if their order had been taken - no, and they had been seated over 20 minutes. We left... I have been to this restaurant twice. Once for carry out and I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were rather large but excellent taste. The amount of food they gave was enough for two dinners for me. I dined in the second time and had ravioli and it was outstanding. I would definitely recommend. Service staff was very nice and on top of things. They did not have a wide selection of liquor yet. read more

Great service, delicious pizza! This place is newer and off the beaten path but definitely worth a try! We stopped in on a Friday evening for pizza and salad and were not disappointed! No wait for a table at just before 5:30 but things were picking up before we left. The dining room is not huge but ample sized. The pizza crust is great, crispy but not too thin with good sauce, cheese and toppings. We had the deluxe pizza (pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, green pepper and onion) and the toppings were ample without overwhelming the pie. The crust has just enough outer edge for you to be pick it up and the inner crust doesn't droop at all. The salads are nice size with leaf lettuces and Roma tomato slices and come with a garlic knot which were crispy on the outside and soft inside with a delicate garlic butter taste. Two dressing choices, Italian and ranch. Deserts were nice and the cannoli cake was very unique with a pistachio layer and a cream top dusted with chocolate powder. We also tried the limoncello cake which was lemony and creamy. Not sure the deserts are worth the $8-$9+. Everything else was great and pricing was in line with other area pizza places and our waitress never let our drinks go empty! 10/10 will return! read more

Don't be fooled by the unembellished exterior, the food inside is SOO GOOD!!! We stopped in during a drive home to MI and we were greeted by the entire family! They were so nice and welcoming and the food was filling and comforting. The pizza had the perfect sauce to topping ratio and a great light crunch. The garlic knots were made fresh, and the bolognese sauce was extra meaty and delicious. We also enjoyed a warm bowl of the pasta fagioli and the wonderfully crisp eggplant parmesan. My Dad and I stopped for lunch on Saturday around 1130. Nice storefront space nothing too fancy. Young man waited on us was very friendly and efficient. Dad had spaghetti with marinara the lunch portion. It came out hot with a garlic roll. He was very pleased with the flavor. I tried a cheese pizza. It also was top notch but too much for one person.
