Came in on a Tues. Couper was my server. Very attentive...food came fast ordered the grilled chicken Cobb salad...the food was eh nothing to rave about. I'm giving 1 star for service. Couper informed me that another server was taking his station at 1:45 pm. I still had half of my salad left so I was expecting the new server to come by and introduce himself. My glass was empty at 2pm.. Didn't even come to my table. Tea glass completely empty and not even a glance for 20 min Manager came out to let another table know they can't substitute grits for toast...they got in trouble blah blah blah and even she didn't check on me. Paid my bill and let her know...so she blames Couper for not introducing me ...last I heard if someone is in your section you introduce yourself! Management is pretty lame too.. I won't be back... I'll go next door to Red Robin better food and killer service! read more

Ordered to go tonight and was ignored as hostess just passed over me and it took forever to get order in. Then the manager took my order and didn't tell the cook it was to go so it sat in the window and I'm still waiting. No apology from the manager and I wonder if I will come here again. read more

Horrible service!!! Waitress took forever, only came to my table one time to refill our coffee (in a rush) never brought my water, forgot our sauce my husband didn't even touch his food, when we got up to pay our bill the young man (who was the only nice person there) asked "how was your meal", my husband told him "to be honest it was terrible" the guy told him to hold on he will get the manager, this lady (manager) had the nerve to walk up to my husband as if he did something wrong, she had the worst attitude and basically made it seem as if we were in the wrong because we never called her to fix the issue I'm sorry ma'am but why do we have to go out of our way to fix something that should of never happened I'm not going to get out of my seat and play "where's Waldo" trying to look for you! Customer service should always be 100% Managers are suppose to FIX the issue not make it worse! We will NEVER be back again! read more

This was decent. We waited for a few minutes to be seated since they were busy (Sunday morning at around 11:10). Waitress was kind and checked on us a few times, food didn't take forever but I asked no tomato on my burger and there were 2 slices on it, but it was good. read more

Absolutely awful service. Our waitress barely understood a word of English, and did not really understand what we were ordering. We waited for almost 55 MINUTES for our food, and this waitress just kept nodding and smiling at us while rushing orders to people who had come in AFTER us. My mom had to go INTO THE KITCHEN to get their attention, and it turned out all our food was just sitting there, getting cold. Some stupid woman who I guess worked their comes up to us and asks us if there is a problem, we explain, she nods and goes back to taping up paper decorations. The stupid manager brings out our plates herself ( all cold) and Lo! two orders were wrong, Back they went into the kitchen, the right orders were rushed and brought to us. By this time, we have waited OVER AN HOUR for our food. The waitress just clocks out and wanders away with a stupid look on her face ( she actually waved to us on her way out) We are then promised coupons galore for the inconvenience which we NEVER received. The manager was a total idiot. The woman who did NOTHING but tape up paper decorations had an attitude, like if we didn't have our food yet,well, it's our stupid fault. Never, EVER, will we come here again. I hope it burns down, and what with the stupidity we witnessed, that would not come as a surprise. read more

I have eaten here twice this week because I didn't want fast food. First meal was a breakfast skillet which should have had sausage but instead they included chunks of beef on a skewer. Tasted good and I didn't bother asking the waitress to exchange it. I figured the steak was a little better for me and the extra protein was appreciated. I was a little disappointed on how much extra oil was in the bottom of the iron skillet. I ate at the counter and the service was excellent. I noticed they had a Wild Alaskan Salmon plate with vegetables so I decided to return for dinner and try their Wild Alaskan Salmon hoping it would be healthier than my breakfast. The Salmon plate is pretty low in calories but I eat Wild Alaskan Salmon at least twice a week and what they served was either Steelhead or farmed salmon but no was was it Wild Alaskan. It still tasted good so I finished it and besides I had already set my heart on a salmon dinner. While eating my dinner I read their nutritional guide they have at each table. I was flabbergasted to find out that while my dinner was only 740 calories it contained 1460 mg of sodium. Holy crap that's ridiculous. I try to keep my daily sodium intake below 1000mg and I think my 2 meals at Denny's probably raised my blood pressure by 20 points. First time I have eaten in a Denny's in 20 years and it will be the last time. But the place was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly so it wasn't all that bad as long as you don't mind eating food that is high in fat, sodium and sugar. read more

I haven't been in a Denny's restaurant for a very long time. The staff here were very accommodating, warm, and friendly. The manager seemed to genuinely care about the customers. The food was tasty and pleasing. We plan to come back here again. read more

My parents and I have been coming to this Denny's for 3 years and now they don't accept 10% off any items on their everyday slam or anything off that menu. We aren't big eaters so getting a smaller portion and a discount was a win for us. read more

The food is always good here. The service is always great! The waiters seem to help each other out no matter which table they are working on. I never have an empty cup. As soon as they see your cup is nearly empty someone will get you another one before you have to ask. I really recommend this place. I been to several other Denny's and no other one is like this one! read more

Horrible Horrible place We waited 20 minutes for water anther 45 for our food and when it came it was all wrong The waitress could not speak English and the manager was a complete idiot When we told her what happened she did nothing about it The food was OK not great and it was all cold Very bad service It took us 2 plus hours to eat and get out! Will never never go back My family and I hated the whole experience It was the worst we had ever had with any restaurant I called their corporate office and was told I would get some free coupons and got nothing ! Just want to let everyone on here know that I went to the Dennys in Apple Valley (the one by the Cinemark theater) and when my plate was served, there were ants on my plate. They re made my sandwich for me and when it was returned I felt uncomfortable eating my sandwich because I had to tear it apart to be sure there were no ants in it... I did eat half of the sandwich but then I decided I didn't want to eat any more of it. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and at first he said they did not have an ant problem, then he changed his story to yes they did have an ant problem. When I received my bill I was appalled when I looked at it. I did not mind having to pay for my friends sandwich and the 2 drinks that we got, BUT they also made me pay for my sandwich. I let the manager on duty know that I felt I should not have to pay for my sandwich...and he just looked at me. That evening I sent their corporate office a complaint. I hadn't heard anything back from them so today I phoned Dennys in Apple Valley and spoke to the General Manager Cynthia,,,who refused to help me and she was very very rude and she gave me the phone number to the owner.... He (Lutfi) alsio refused to refund my money for my sandwich because I filed a complaint with their corporate office instead of letting them know I was upset. I asked him why I was not offered the phone number to call him when I let the manager on duty know that I was upset and he said it was my responsibility to ask for it. I felt making a complaint to their corporate office was a way for them to get the message. Anyways....the owner and the Manager on duty both admitted to them having an ant problem, but they refused to refund me my money for the sandwich. Just for the record, it is not about the money, I just wanted everyone on this sight to know what terrible customer service I received from this brand new restaurant. I work in management with the public(I am a movie theater manager) and we do everything we can to make our customers happy. It was only $10 for my sandwich, but I am going to let everyone know what bad customer service I received and how rude the General Manager(Cynthia) and the owner(Lutfi) are.
