these location is conveniently located close to the I-5 freeway. They have some good values on the menu, such as the 55+ menu. One of the good things about Denny's is that it has plenty of options for everyone. You can order breakfast, sandwiches, hamburgers, salad, steaks, chicken, etc., so it is easy for everyone in a large group to find something on the menu that they like. Our food arrived fairly quickly and service was prompt. The location is a bit old and needs remodeling, however, it was fairly good overall.

Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the food and service at Denny's! We stopped here to charge our car during a long journey and decided to grab a bite while waiting. The service was excellent--our waitress was super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and satisfying, just what we needed for the road ahead. If we're ever passing through Coalinga again, we'll definitely be stopping by this Denny's!

I was pleasantly surprised by my breakfast here. I had a T Bone Steak and Eggs breakfast. It was a thick cut of meat. It had a lot of gristle on the outside, but it was more flavorful than the filet I had the night before! There was no wait to grab a table and the service was very good. Way to go, Denny's!

This is a Chicken Sandwich that has been frying beyond recognition.

Everything was super overfried, onion, rings, Chicken Sandwich, Fish and Chips, overfried

This is for any travelers looking for something to eat, I'd skip this particular Denny's for the Taco Bell if the Starbucks is closed. Most Denny's aren't this bad. The one star is unfortunately the lowest Yelp allows for a rating. We understand we were here on a holiday, we understand that it was busy and they're probably doing the best to get food out. BUT a couple things to notice: 1. Our waitress rushed us into ordering but not in a good way. Again, we understand you're busy but don't make someone order something they are contemplating. 2. We got our cutlery but no napkins. The only way I could get napkins was when we paid at the counter. It wasn't for the lack of asking. 3. The pancakes with the plates did not come with maple syrup. We had to ask multiple times for our syrup. 4. We also needed butter but the butter came with the check and the toast comes dipped in butter. We had to squeeze out the butter from the toast and gave up on the toasts eventually. 5. When asked for the butter, our server was a little snappy. 6. The eggs had fish in them (we had vegetarians in our party). One of the loaded vegetable omelettes had a sausage in them. 7. None of us actually finished our food since each of us had something missing. 8. This stop set us back by 2 hours and we weren't any happier.

But the more you progress through your meal, the more you realize the meat is cooked medium well. Still good though but sort of fell short this time around. I enjoyed the roasted vegetables alotmore this time while pairing it with the mashed potatoes. Was hoping they had Creme Corn and Creme Spinach like Lawry's but guess thats asking too much in the middle of no where Coalinga California Cow Country. Looking forward to my two cuts of rib eyes and tri tip steaks I picked up at their Butcher. Gonna go home and make myself a Michelin Rib eye dinner and some Korean BBQ tri tips. :) Note to server: y'all forgot the raw horseradish I put in a service request for. Cream Horseradish was too un-wasabi-like, I want that nose choke, spicy hit that raw horseradish stimulates you with.

They had plenty of nice outdoor areas to eat at and the food came fast. Of course, this is nowhere as good as the actual Harris restaurant, but if you need food quick, the brisket is a solid option!

If this were anywhere else I would probably give 2 stars, but not bad for the options nearby. The brisket is the better of the meats we tried - chicken and tri-tip were the other two. Brisket is quite dry though without BBQ sauce. Chicken is not bad but also needs sauce. Tri-tip was too chewy. Of the sides, potato salad was good. Cornbread was good. S.O. got the mac and cheese and was disappointed. Ran out of horseradish and regular BBQ sauce while we were there. Or the guy just didn't want to get us the regular BBQ? Anyway, had the spicy BBQ which is not very spicy so that was fine. Ordered online which I strongly recommend. But check your order because they forgot the sauces. We were eating there, so I just went back to ask for them, but without the BBQ sauce, the meats would've been so hard to eat. Next to the Shell gas station, Lots of seating around.

I also had hashbrowns on the side which really tasted like they were homemade, freshly shredded potatoes - they weren't like the frozen kind that you get that's for sure!! This place seems like they do a lot of cooking from scratch which I really appreciate. My friend ordered the Denver omelette which was humongous, and she asked for salsa on the side, which was not a problem and she also had the hash brown potatoes. She ate half her meal and took the rest home. I ate my eggs and left half my sausage and gave the other half to my friend to take home. Nice crispy toast. The eggs were done perfectly fried as well as the sausage which was a little bit crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. It is a Saturday, and I noticed that Saturday special is ground beef enchiladas which I truly do enjoy I might have to go back there the next Saturday for lunch! The price point for the two of us was around $41 with a $10 tip. We did not order drinks that was just for our food, and they do offer a small discount for cash payments. All that eating and writing... I forgot to take a picture of my plate of food! Just trust me it was delicious!
