The restaurant was empty and spotless. The cashier was patient and pleasant. I placed my order: Western Bacon Burger combo. My order came out hot but poorly assembled. You figure since there weren't any other patrons the employees would have a bit more pride in their work. The bbq sauce and bacon were slapped on and the onion rings were slime. The fry's were ok. Service was friendly and quick through the drive thru even though there were quite a few people inside. The restrooms were clean at this location. I ordered a western bacon cheeseburger combo with fried zucchini and the burger was put together very well. The onion rings were cooked perfectly and the sauce ratio was perfect so I didn't need to add more sauce. The fried zucchini were crispy and delicious! Don forget the ranch! read more

My 2nd time here in the month of February. It's not super busy so the bathroom is easy to access, lots of parking, and a clean comfortable Store. As for the food, ordered a Cali XL, and Lemonade on both visits. Walked in moments after ordering via the mobile application and my order was ready and bagged. In my opinion this is not a good thing, because in both visits the lettuce was not edible so I'm guessing it was cooked ages ago, and or the lettuce stocked is of horrible quality. I love Carl's Jr, but the service here is pretty bad, the front lady there is not friendly and ignores your existence. We ordered a burger online and were waiting there for a while. We saw an order ready and left on the ready shelf for about 5-10 minutes while standing in-front of her, but the lady only picked up new orders until we asked her and she said, "oh yeah, here." No smile & no apology given. If we didn't ask, not sure if she is ever going to announce the order. It wasn't busy in the store at all. While we were leaving, I heard the someone asked her 2 times, "did you say the order is ready?" Then we left. As soon as we ordered our food and sat down our food was hot and ready quickly. Everything from our hot fries to the burgers and chicken tenders were perfectly made and very delicious. With a car full of hungry people we appreciated this fast friendly service so we could get back on the road quickly. We had medium fry's and drink. The total bill was $39.88. Ridiculous. The same meal in Arizona is less than $28.00. The beyond famous star - meatless burger was $9.29 just for the burger alone. 2 burgers came to $21 lol In comparison, we've had the impossible whopper before and it's about $6.99 for the burger and it's honestly a lot better than this beyond famous star. It wasn't really bad, but it wasn't great. It was ok. I think it would be better with sliced pickles instead of relish and seasoning on the patty. Visited this location at approximately 10:30 pm. Could not hear the person working the drive thru. Either the person needs to speak louder or they need to work on the drive thru speaker system. Couldn't understand the employee due to either their soft voice or the speaker system when they repeated my order or to tell me my total. Please look into this matter. A properly maintained drive thru speaker system or am employee speaking a little bit louder makes a world a difference. My wife and I stopped here while traveling down 5 to share an original Angus burger combo. I've always been a fan of Carl's Jr. and this is the worst fast food taste experience ever. The meat tasted old; the fries were somewhat soggy. Only the drink, a coffee, was ok. I literally had a terrible taste in my mouth from the burger all afternoon. As for the restaurant it was filthy: the toilets, the outdoor tables where we sat. (The restroom was borderline disgusting.) It wasn't an restaurant with acceptable hygiene. My husband and I stopped here on May 9th on our drive North on Interstate 5 to Oregon and I was so excited to try Carl Jrs. I haven't been there for years and was terribly disappointed. Needing to pitstop on the way back to the bay, we pulled into this Carl's Jr because the parking lot was packed and it seemed a good place to grab a "light" bite. When we crossed through the dog-friendly patio, we immediately noticed that this place was absolutely filthy but as they say, we were already pot committed. I ordered a Big Carl sandwich to tide me over and it was the first time I've ever had a burnt fast food burger. For something with quality so heavily controlled, it's amazing that the screwed this up so bad. Definitely won't be back here again. There was even spoiled greens in my friend's salad. This Carls competes directly with McD's and Burger King on West Dorris Avenue. It's a quick stop for most travelers to feed the cars and the people. The Super Charburger Combo ($8.39) is incredible. First of all, it's a monstrosity of a burger with two thick beef patties and lettuce, tomato and onion as well. The meat was nicely seasoned, and the other ingredients within the buns were nice and fresh. Basically, a great burger. A massive burger ! It also had a mayo-type condiment applied which was a nice touch. The fries were OK, but had been languishing under the heat lamp a little too long. But the star of the show is the Super Charburger.
