Everything was ok and was not up to Denny's equality of food, I got the blueberry pancakes- now I've been to many different Denny's and this was one of the worst, what I had was very blan and it didn't have enough blueberries, I was about to go Casino on them.Anyway someone on table got the skillet which was VERY VERY oily- no joke. Came to Denny's after a long study session with my buddy. First of all when we came in, nobody greeted us, nobody told us if we were suppose to seat ourselves, several employees walked past and didn't acknowledge that we were there. Finally after about 3 minutes we finally were told to seat ourselves. As we sat down, we ordered and we began to eat. Service was very good at first! I happen to order food that needed some Heinz ketchup, when I reached for the ketchup it had filthy dried ketchup around the rim of the bottle. There's nothing like great service, great food - at DENNY's of all places - our server was Luiz, super-friendly - was a "mind reader" with the coffee refills - my coffee was never cold, nor was the cup ever close to empty - we got the "Bomb" deal of a MODIFIED slam ... dunno if they say that on the TV ads, but our server was clear, in fact he could tell we didn't "get it" that the June Grand Slam special for 3.99 is for only 1 sausage and 1 bacon, but the bacon was perfect the pancakes were perfect. This Denny's on a Sunday seems to always be short staff of waiters and possibly cooks. There is a lot of people seated but not enough waiters to service all. So my boyfriend and I went to have a late dinner at this location... let me start off by saying that I am a server... I've been told that I'm "tough" on servers... yet, I hold them to the standard I hold myself as a server. She walks over to my table takes my food and comes back with hot food... my boyfriends toast was cold ... so we deny it back... only to have it come back burnt.... SMFH!! Seriously?? Complete disappointment. I was sat a visibly dirty table with empty creamer and crayons. It took 30 minutes to make the food which was fine because I was with my husband having a good time. My pancakes came out burnt, like black. They mixed up our order and when I asked for it to be fixed my server gave me the worst attitude. I asked another server for water because ours was no where to been seen, she was very kind and she got the manager. The manager took off only the pancakes when we didn't eat the whole breakfast, I took one bite of the bacon which tasted like rubber. I didn't touch the eggs being they looked like they were made hours ago. He said "well you only asked for the pancakes to be taken off not the whole thing!" with such an attitude, I was so upset because we always have a good experience here. Normally we go to ihop but decided not go as they had a promotion. We decided to come here instead which is a beautiful establishment but I can't say the same for the service. First we noticed that some of the utensils had pieces of dried food and were not cleaned properly. Then we waited about 25 minutes for our food and when we got our food it was cold. Then our server Francisco never stopped by our table to see if we needed anything else. I had to get up from my table while I'm eating to look for Francisco to get a new set of utensils. Then he stopped by a table next to us and checked in on them and gave them a refill and Us that we're only a few inches away did not bother to check in on us. I finally got fed up and spoke to the restaurant manager Khaleed and voiced my dissatisfaction. Out of all the Denny's by far this spot is the best one. Pancakes are tasty and delicious. Food is well served. Customer service is okay, it was busy and our waiter Sandra was great. The wait was short for a Saturday afternoon, waited 15 minutes for the waiter, another 30 min food to arrive. My lumberjack breakfast was ok but I was starving so I just dug in. Unfortunately for my boyfriend his French toast was cold and burn on one side. They discounted the French toast as they should. My poor fiancé was hungry too, but he ate most of it not knowing that the it was burn on the bottom. Typical for the Denny's. We went there out of convenience but it was more like an inconvenience. She walked away with an attitude when asked if she could bring a cup of water. Not once were any of us 6 guest rude or mean to her considering her attitude. So this is my experience here....... Walked in around 945 and was immediately seated. So that there tells me it isn't a chaotic scene and seating is readily available. What was sad was I walked to the restroom in the back and over half the tables were just staring at the menus and there was plates of food stacked on top of each other waiting to be picked up and delivered. Idk what was going on but this was definitely one of those experiences where you would never ever want to return.
