It was a busy morning at Danny's. My family and I were greeted by Giselle and the rest of the staff. Giselle became our server, and she got our drinks and our food order at a timely manner. She would check up on my family and I to make sure everything we needed was there, so her customer service was outstanding. The food was delicious, no issues with that. Everything cooked the way we requested it to be cooked. Even though it was a busy morning, but the place was peaceful and relaxed. I love coming to this Denny's because the hosts and servers are so attentive and kind. This past time I went my server Giselle was absolutely a gem. Her breakfast recommendation ended up being one of my favorite dishes here! I noticed that the el segundo location has really great pancakes too. Thanksgiving Failure- Military We ordered $900 in thanksgiving meals for military members working on shift. Today we came to pick those meals up showing the receipt of the order. Nothing is ready. We were also told that "we are not doing turkey today". So currently we are waiting for any undetermined period of time to see if things will be resolved. I'd give this restaurant's customer service a 0 if I could. I came here alone for a quick meal on a Friday night. I was met by an employee who did not really greet me, and because of that I asked do I set myself. And because of a language barrier he told me where the restroom was. SMH....But that's not my issue with the restaurant. My issue is that I sat for more than 20 minutes and no one even asked me what I wanted to drink. No one came to my table at all. No one, not the man the met me on my way in who I saw delivering food to the two other occupied tables in the restaurant. Nor the lady who looked right at me, and was doing nothing. So I left. We were very unimpressed at this location. The staff seemed friendly, and we were seated quickly, but the food was on the lowest end of being warm when it was brought to us, and was mostly cold by halfway thru the meal. Not really safe good practices! The Denny's portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller, with prices going up and up. You can get larger portions for the same price at other restaurants. We asked for the pancakes to be brought out later, but they were delivered at the beginning of the meal, so we had them cold. read more

We've been coming to this location for a while and truly appreciate his joyful energy, upbeat personality and energy. There's nothing like being greeted with a smile and a super polite person, which is GREATLY missing these days. Most workers nowadays act like you're an annoyance to them and it feels like they hate being at work. This amazing man has been working here for 22 years and is happy, pleasant, competent and you can see it and experience it firsthand. Bravo to him and his company for having hired such a great guy. Went to this location with my mom. She is healing from surgery and really wanted a good hot breakfast. The wait time was literally 10 seconds. We were almost instantly greeted by Jose R. with a smile and great energy. After he took our order the food came 10 minutes later. Great wait time when you're super hungry. All the specifics that we asked him for we got. I.E. substitutions and extra crispy bacon. Kudos to the chef because the food came out fresh and hot. (Ordered the New CALI Skillet). We came Saturday morning around 9a. He checked on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed.
