This is nothing like any other location we visited ever before... It has been like this on every visit to the Evansville location. They always want to keep most sections closed at lunch and expect people sit in those stupid 'high chairs'... "this is all that is open right now" as we look around the restaurant and see lots of empty tables (normal tables). We left last time because of that... I don't know anyone who wants to sit up high like that to have a meal. We want normal tables and chairs. It doesn't really matter with the current prices.... they are outrageous... It wasn't that long ago that we dined at another location and the prices were significantly lower than Evansville's prices. For my meal, it is about $8 more in Evansville than two other locations we visited this year.

I pick sourdough toast. It was just OK. I really wish I would've picked a blueberry muffin or everything muffin but I told him that and they're going to bring me a complementary blueberry muffin the wait staff is really phenomenal. It was busy but we were seated immediately and our orders were taken. I chose the two eggs scrambled with hash browns and a pancake. Everything was yummy and the serving was not so large that I had to leave anything. The server was attentive and service was fast. The prices are reasonable, but the atmosphere is a bit worn. I found the women's restaurant needed a bit of attention. But all and all, it was a good breakfast, and would recommend it. Just remember this is not a fancy place.
