Just finished visiting this location with my family and the Server Aramis Torres was EXCELLENT!! He was very very attentive, super polite, recommended menu items that better catered to our cravings & was just hands down IMPRESSIVE! Went to eat breakfast with my family at the Denny's on 19313 SO Dixie Hwy. We were immediately greeted by our server Soany. She sat us and didn't hesitate to ask us what we would like to drink and if we wanted an appetizer. She took our order and brought us our food in a very timely fashion. She remembered us from the last time we went there, which feels very nice. I definitely suggest her and this Denny's if you are looking to have friendl service with good food!!! read more

This place has changed. There are still 2 great waitresses there at night. But best of luck during the day. It seems to have new management, as it is now always dirty & the staff is usually jabbering away to each other while the guests wait. Today was the last straw. My burger was fantastic, as usual. However...... We ordered a side of onion rings. 25 minutes later, we received 6 small (1.5" diameter) onion rings for $3.59. The manager brought them out to us. My wife & I had the same look of "what is this?" The manager proudly stated something like "we have 6 rings in our order!" Not going back. Been going there every week or 2 for about 4 years. Let me start by saying it was a Sunday morning so naturally it was very busy. Our server was working her butt off to keep up with the tables and doing a decent job. But the wait for the drink and food order was ridiculous. Another table with a different server had two in their party leave because of the lengthy wait. We easily waited 15 minutes to be greeted by our server. She did make eye contact early on to let us know she knew we were there, which was good. And then there were the flies. They weren't flying around, just many big flies hanging out on the back wall. They were also dead on the floor next to our table at the back door. Then a man came out twice and was mopping around another table, around people's feet. I don't know what was going on with that but I was annoyed for them. The food was good, nothing special. My order was just bacon and toast. The coffee was good. This Denny's needs to do better. I gave it 3 stars instead of 2 because of our server. You need to hire an additional cook and someone to take care of just drink orders. And clean your walls!! read more

I give it 5 stars.... And it's not cuz this place just got remodeled, and it's not because of the food. They all taste the same. It's the service that's top notch here. And if you want the best service you have to sit down with RANDY!!! I've been going here for years and I don't eat there unless he's there, he makes the place worth going to over and over again!!! We were seated in less than 10 minutes on a Sunday, which is pretty good. However we sat there for nearly an hour without a waiter. I'm a very patient person but they didn't offer us water at the very least. The family sitting next to us had already been then for longer than us and we could see them getting frustrated. read more

I spent a fair amount of time during my high school and college years sitting in a booth at Denny's. As did Boyfriend. Often at the same table. Denny's is classic. Not this Denny's. This Denny's sullies the good Denny's name. Boyfriend and I walked into the not crowded Denny's. And waited to be seated. It was a reasonable wait. It was the last reasonable wait we would have. We were seated and handed our menus. And then we waited and waited for our orders to be taken. Eventually they were. And then we waited and waited and waited. Finally our food came with an apology that things were backed up in the kitchen. And then our waiter fell off a cliff! Well, I can only assume that's what happened. We didn't see him again for 45 minutes. I am not joking. We ate. Nobody came by to check on us or to fill the drinks. 30 minutes after we finished eating, Boyfriend announced that it had been 30 minute and stood up. During the 30 minutes, he had tried several times to flag down a member of the waitstaff. So, he was pretty pissed. He stood up, right in the middle of the walkway, credit card in hand. This stopped nobody, nor caught anyone's attention. A couple times a staff member pushed past him, with a grumbled, "excuse me." After ten minutes of standing there, someone finally asked if they could help. Boyfriend asked for the check and our server soon showed up after his harrowing experience with our check in hand. We took it to the front to pay, where we waited. We waited for people to be seated. We waited while someone went to get the key for the register. We waited while more people were seated. Finally, we were allowed to pay and leave. And that's what we did. If you have a few hours to spare, you could eat here. Or you could eat some place better and faster an then go to the beach. read more

I was not feeling good but went in to order food for my husband and she chatted with me, made me a really good shake and was just a sweetheart. I go in for breakfast and already issues I never get my drink I don't order anything crazy a water never showed up my food was subpar I ordered eggs bacon sausage and pancakes I get a single egg one piece of bacon that's cold and a single sausage. The cooks were more interested in getting into arguments with the servers and one of the two servers is complaining about how much he can't wait to leave and how he's not going to do anything else cuz he leaves in 20 mins yo it's 6 am it's to early to have all the negativity bless the female server she's the only who actually tried also got charged for something I didn't order at that point I just left go get a banana or something instead of going to Denny's seriously do ur self a favor and do something else. read more

Today me and my friend decided to come to one of our favorite places to have some breakfast/lunch. Myself being a waitress, I understand because it is the weekend and that things are hectic & everyone is running around trying to accommodate everyone BUT when you are taking the food out to the customers you ALWAYS look at what is on the plate & ALWAYS question yourself "if this was my meal would I be satisfied" if you have to question yourself or if you don't think what's on the plate is enough or is to much of something DONT bring it to the customer knowingly that the customer might complain or be unhappy. As you can see in the picture, I ordered a grilled cheese and hash browns. The grilled cheese was okay but the hash browns looked as if they were off someone else's plate from a mistake or as if someone had eaten half of them. It did NOT look like a full order of hash browns. I was extremely disappointed. Uncertain if ill be coming back. read more

I always love coming to this Denny's! The service is always fast, and the food is always perfect! I got the Grand Slam Slugger for only 8 dollars and my girlfriend got the Make Your Own Chicken Wrap for 4 dollars. The wraps came with tortilla chips and my grand slam slugger contained two sausages, two eggs, two pancakes, hashbrowns and eggs! The whole meal together was just 13 dollars and it was very filling, we almost couldn't finish our food! No room for desert at all. I highly recommend this restaurant! And if you are low on cash they have a 2,4,6,8 menu ranging from 2 dollar hashbrowns with gravy to the 8 dollar grand slam slugger that I got. read more

Just left after waiting an hour after being told that it was a 30 minute wait. The hostess claims to have called my name multiple times while I was standing there with the rest of my party ( 6 of us in total) and when I went to ask what the wait time was she said she called my name and didn't give me an answer. I walked back to my party to update them and waited a couple more minutes waiting to be called to sit and then I approached her again to ask and she proceeds to tell me that the kitchen is backed up that it is a 30+ minute wait and failed to update me when I asked her for an update. She was adamant that she called my name but my family and I were standing 5 feet away. Super disappointed. She not only needs a megaphone because she speaks too low especially when it's busy but she also needs to be trained on how to properly manage a busy restaurant / upset clients. The attitude was not needed when we just wanted to know what the current wait time. We ended up leaving and didn't get to speak to the manager because he was in the kitchen. Do better. Standards for food in this part of town must be very low. We walked in and the place was dingy and smelled like old mop water but to my surprise it was packed. I guess there where graduations going on in the area and this was the late night spot to go and celebrate. I've ordered Denny's plenty of times in recent years and every time the food seemed somewhat fresh and well prepared, this place didn't get the overhaul memo, stake and eggs barely edible, hash brown was at least a few hours old and reheated, glasses and utensils where dirty, server was dirty in fact all but one young lady looked like meth heads (no trying to insult anyone but that's what I perceived) they were understaffed last night and the customers paid the price. read more

Stopped in at this Denny's on my way back from the Florida Keys. Being a Customer Experience Executive, I was pleasantly surprised at the customer service in this restaurant. The teamwork was excellent and the staff really did everything possible to make the experience a positive one. I would like to point out that Imani, Michelle and Debbie were outstanding based on the level of service and commitment to excellence that exceeded my expectations. I occasionally stop in at Denny's throughout the country and business and personal travel and my experiences are generally mediocre at best. This experience moved the bar up a few notches - great job! read more

I actually like Dennys but not this one. There a specific employee , mary. When she takes our order and me and my friends ask for something that involves her doing work as opposed to the cook like making a milk shake. Once i asked and she said we had no milk to make it... 15 minutes later my friend as for a glass of milk and boom there is a glass out of nowhere. I took my wife here for breakfast on her birthday, there was about a 15 minute wait time, once we were seated they took our order pretty quick but 30 mins later they tell us it'll be about 20 more minutes because the kitchen was backed up. We ended up walking out after 30 more minutes. They couldn't keep up with the Uber eats orders so everyone in the dining room was upset and waiting and walking out. read more

If i can rate this less start i would. Only 2 people working, very rudeeeee staff! My family and I were in great moods until we waited 48 mins for a table and another 34 mins just to order. Waitress came up to us and says "what do you want." And didn't look at us once. There was a family of 4 who came earlier than us and waited even longer than we did to order. There was an old guy who tried to be nice and tell the manager hes willing to wait just to be seated and the manager looked up, stared at him and looked away. Terribly rude.
