Ok so let's see where did I leave off from 3 weeks ago as my work & other things were hectic. I had finished D representing 2022, so now onto 2023 for the letter D is Denny's in Hanover, which was a date. I had been to this Denny's a few times since living in Anne Arundel County the past 5 years. Noteworthy times here: -November 2020: My parents visited around Thanksgiving, and we went here. -A couple of times in 2021-2023, my friend visited town, and he is particular with his breakfast as he is lactose intolerant. One time I said IHOP and named other possibility, and he was dead set on Denny's as he knew that would work. I have a picture of my Denny's food from his visit in July 2023, but I remembered it was the Denny's in Laurel as that is my closest location (Hanover is 2nd closest). I picked him up at BWI the night before, he crashed at my place for 1 night before his conference/hotel he was staying at in downtown Baltimore. The next morning I said we could go to the Laurel Denny's & drop you off at Laurel MARC station right by Denny's. After we ate at Denny's, I realized they only go during rush hour during the week, and it was late morning. So, I had to schlep him up to BWI MARC. If I had known that, I would've just gone to the Hanover location. 3rd date in May 2023: I had met her at games group, and she lived relatively close to this Denny's. We enjoyed good service & food. I think I got an omelette that night. And we enjoyed playing a couple of games in the booth. Every time I've been to this Denny's, it was on point with good service & food. I think their pancakes are superior to IHOP, which the acronym is Pancake, so that's saying something. read more

We like this restaurant. It's quiet, and staff has always treated us nice. I get a burger and fries when I go and my partner gets breakfast. The food is always hot and we never have to wait very long for it. The wait staff are caring and genuine. The restaurant is clean, and parking is easy.This is definitely on my recommendation list if you are a fan of Denny's. Not the greatest meal today at Dennys. We stop hear sometimes when traveling through BWI. Today we were at Arundel Mills and stopped for breakfast. My meal was disappointing with burned toast and cold eggs. I didn't say anything because I needed to get home and didn't want to wait any longer. Both of us had the Berry Waffle Slam and coffees. Decaf was cold, tried twice. Server was nice, but the food delivery was amazingly slow. There were 5 couples on our side of the restaurant and we all waited a really long time. Food was still served cold to lukewarm at best. Bacon and sausage links were not greasy at least. Sausage links are so tiny they look smaller than vienna sausages from the can. Floors and tables are clean. Dining area looks decent. You teally need to serve food hot to the table. read more

No silverware or napkins were left at the table. After asking the waitress told me they were all dirty. Smh. After a while our food came out. My steak was well done when I requested medium cook. My eggs were undercooked. Finally got my utensils and they were plastic. How do you eat a well done steak with plastic utensils. Be for real. I told the waiter I need an actual knife. Went old school the other day with breakfast at Dennys. All I can say is the place looks old on the inside. They need new carpet & seats. The breakfast wasn't all bad, but not like I remember it. The pumpkin pancakes were good. The coffee is really expensive for some reason $3.39 a cup. The service, let's say I only saw Christine twice not counting the time she took my money at the cash register. The average slam is now $10+ read more

The service was ABSOLUTELY AWEFUL. I came here at 330 am there was only one other man in the entire restaurant. The waitress gave the WORST service for an empty restaurant I have ever seen (like only a 50 cent tip bad) it took her 15 minutes just to get our drink order. The food was amazing. However when the food came out she said she was going to get us napkins and just never came back. I sat with an empty drink for almlst 10 minutes actually had to get up and ASK for a refill. Same with my Togo box and check. I had to physically leave my seat and ask for it after waiting another 15 mins after my food was finished. Time to pay I got up to the counter "I am closing out the day so waiting on the system" WHY would you you close out the day when it's obvious that we are about to pay. Long story shot it took us an hour and 45 mins from the time we pulled up to the tome we left at 330am being the only people in the restaurant I feel this is absolutely ridiculous. Stayed next door and walked over for dinner. Place was empty but clean. Service was excellent. I ordered sirloin and eggs, was one of the best meals I have ever had, everything was cooked perfect and awsome flavor. I would of put that steak up against any steak chain. Upon entering your NOT greeted. There were only two waitresses on duty that day. When I got up to the desk I was greeted. After sitting down in a booth. I could easily tell the booth had heavy wear and tear due to the springs being shot in the seat. The waitress gave me a menu and I ordered water. Upon getting the water. It definitely didn't tasted filtered. Tasted like straight tap water to which I found out later on the receipt. Upon ordering the food. The waitress was friendly but never smiled really so it started to feel very depressing in the place. Definitely didn't have a diner feeling. After ordering I noticed the waitresses don't wear their mask probably when in the kitchen. **SEE PICS** Also while waiting for the food. You could easily tell something was wrong. One of the waitresses was yelling to the cook "Listen I need you to cook the food throughly this time" the food can't be like the undercooked wings yesterday. Five mins go by and someone complains and once again more yelling to the cook "This food isn't fully cooked. Put it back on the grill". After that my food comes and I could easily tell it was a rip-off due to the small omelette size as well as the lack of even a decent portion size of meat inside the omelette. After tasting the food. The meat was barely warm and the overall omelette tasted like total crap. Discarded most of it. Ordered French fries and got home fries. Even though it was a simple order. The order was still wrong. The employees are somewhat friendly. Definitely not professional though. Also the overall environment is a complete mess. Dim lighting with a mildew smell in the place which was the smell of vomit in the mens room. **SEE PICS** , The vomit looked like it had been there since yesterday and was making the entire place smell after a while. The overall place as well as the silverware was nowhere near clean **SEE PICS** The noise level was normal except for the constant complaints from the waitresses to the cook. Lastly. This place lacks proper ventilation really. After a few minutes. It started becoming very humid and the vomit smell was overtaking the place. Overall. This place is a MAJOR DUMP. I came to Denny's with a large group late and night, and we were some of the only people on the restaurant. The servers were so kind and accommodating, even with our large group! I think it was a bit difficult to manage though, because they mixed up our orders quite a bit and forgot items. The wait was also incredibly long to get our food, but that was to be expected with a group our size (12 people). The food itself was okay. I got the chicken strips with fries and garlic bread. The chicken strips were what you would expect, but the garlic bread looked really sad and tasted very dry. I didn't have very high expectations coming to dennys, but the servers were very kind which made up for the mid tier food and long wait! read more

I have made the mistake of going to this Dennys on Melon road because it's close to where I live, but the manager Rachel never disappoints and provides horrible service and a nasty attitude. She often refused to take phone orders at night and told me that even though the restaurant was COMPLETY empty, she couldn't seat us for at least 25 minutes because the cook just got an order for 25 sandwiches. She was also very nasty. I don't care how hungry I am never going to this Dennys again. They need to get rid of her!! read more

I am a regular Denny's customer in 3 locations. This is the ONLY bad experience I have ever had. "Cray" the manager was awful when I complained about a missing item (BOGO Grand Slam offer), which I noticed after I left today. On the phone with me, Cray blamed the online telephone service (which I had to use to get the BOGO offer since the mobile order system wasn't taking the offer code), he was not helpful, and he simply said it was not his fault, basically saying too bad. Cray's communications and customer service were poor and he hung up on me. What a horrible representative he is for Denny's, especially as a manager. Such a shame because my family loves Denny's food and this is the closest to my house. read more

Terrible service. Our waitress took our order & then went on break. We had to flag down the hostess and tell her 2 tables had been served who were seated after us & it had been 40 minutes since our orders were taken. Our waitress finally appeared from the back, went to the heat lamp where my skillet was languishing & had to have them rush my husband's order which had been served to another table. By the time we got our meals, my potatoes were soggy & the rest overcooked. My husband's sausages were cold, and our waitress never once checked on us after serving us. I ordered from The Meltdown, which is a sandwich section that Denny's offer now, and the food I got was unbelievable. To test the place out I ordered a grilled cheese, being it the most basic thing to make. However, they just handed me what was almost just bread and literally cold cheese -- with extremely dull fries. When ordering a grilled cheese I've never received cold, straight out the fridge cheese from anywhere. It's a grilled cheese. I just don't know how anyone could mess that up. The table wasn't clean, they gave me an extremely dirty cup for my water. The waitress had very poor service, she wasn't the least bit nice. I had to ask for things more than one time. I asked her for an omelette and instead of the sides I just wanted sausage gravy. She told me she would have to charge me extra for it. I couldn't even eat it. First of all, it wasn't even sausage gravy. It was white gravy that they just added sausage too and the biscuits were so disgusting that I couldn't even eat them. My omelette, the Swiss cheese tasted like it went bad so I could barely eat any of my omelette. At that point, I just asked for a manager because I could barely eat any of my food, the manager never came. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Denny's and I will never go back to the Denny's ever again in life. read more
