Not many choices for 24hr eats in this town.. Denny's is decent at least. Smothered cheese fries used to be great until they started using Cheese wiz for the cheese. It used to be real cheese. Too bad, that was a great eat. The burger's are decent. Not bad. Better than IHOP & Harbor house.. The french toast is decent. Small portion, but quite OK.. The bacon is pretty crappy. downhill here too. Shakes are OK. The grilled shrimp was surprisingly good as well. Good for late night dining.. 2am-6am.. otherwise there are better places. read more

The host guy was a little unfriendly, but the server was nice! I got the Double Berry fruit pancake plate, which had eggs, hash browns, and two strips of bacon. I asked for "over medium" and it was 100% over easy, looked like there was no effort put into leaving the eggs on for a little longer. That was disappointing, but otherwise the meal was fine. Their new fluffy pancakes are indeed quite fluffy! My wife said that it's all just air in there, but I thought it was tasty! Overall, a little expensive, but not unreasonable. OK, Denny's is not the best food, but they are always reliable for a decent meal at a decent price. This is the BEST Denny's I've ever been to. The entire restaurant is clean, spotless, and not noisy! I stopped by to have a nice quiet dinner by myself since Honeybuns was out on an overnight trip. I like cobb salads, so I wanted that. But Denny's has changed their menu, and no more cobb salads. I asked the lady if they can make me a turkey salad, and she was really nice to make me a turkey cranberry nut salad (after hearing that I was allergic to chicken and gluten). The food was tasty, and all the spring greens were fresh, not one leaf was old and spoiled. The cranberries and nuts were great too. She came by several times and refilled my water. The owner came by to say hello and ask about my food. I'm coming to this Denny's from now on. read more

Denny's...really you ask? Yes, this one I would have to credit hubby for it. It's his favorite place to eat breakfast...I dunno why until we visited this past weekend. If you have not been to Denny's for a while, the current advertised special is BACONALIA....YES, loads and loads of bacon. Bacon pancake for one and they even have a bacon sundae. We tried neither. We did however, ordered the bacon slam special, 6 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, hashbrown and toast. AND we also got the white chocolate chip blueberry hushpuppies (basically fried pancake balls, kinda like fried donut holes). It came out hot with sprinklers of powdered sugar and pancake syrup for dipping. It turned out to be the best thing I ate there. I can't say the same for the breakfast food though. Let's just say I can make better breakfast at home. I give 1 star for the food, edible, not good. I finally figured out why my hubby likes this place for breakfast, they just have a lot of heart clogging choices of food to choose from....like BACONALIA. The service however, is EXCELLENT, staff were all so attentive, friendly and accommodating. They earned 1 extra star for the service and the last star is for their really heart clogging specials like deep fried hushpuppies. read more

The service can forget about you for a bit, but other than that it's cleaner and brighter than the company-owned restaurant nearby (this one is a franchisee), and the food even comes out looking more appealing. Good spot for a cheap, comfort-food brunch. 10:30 on a Sunday presented no problems for seating, etc. There were a few minor hitches with our order, but nothing serious. Everyone at the table had special requests and they were very accommodating with the substitutions. Also, thanks to their handy calorie count menus, I learned that the Grand Slamwich has 1500 calories (with has browns). Holy cow. I confirmed, however, that they can make the Slamwich with the sugary maple butter on the side. At that level of caloric intake, it probably makes no difference. read more

The staff really are welcoming. The food is extremely consistent and the cooks are probably the best Dennys cooks in the area. I love that you can, of course, order dinner at breakfast and breakfast at dinner because I am definitely not a breakfast person. The diner gets full pretty quickly on Saturday and Sunday mornings ... so I would go before church rather than after. Don't forget to ask questions ... The staff are really willing to help and answer anything. And on the couple of occasions I've managed to stump them, they have had no problem going and asking around on my behalf. read more

Oh Dennys, I was actually pleasantly surprised with my meal here. We took my uncle to lunch for his 55th bday because he can order off the 55+ menu now!! I wasn't really looking forward to it but I got the scramble that came with tomatoes, turkey bacon, fruit, and I asked them to sub hashbrowns instead of toast to keep it gluten free. It was actually good, better than other breakfast places I've been and at Denny's the price is right. The waiter was also great about it being my Uncle's bday, he made him a special lemonade drink with cucumbers and strawberries in it. Came here at 11pm and didn't get our food until 12:30am. The table next to us ordered about 15 minutes after us but got their food before us so I questioned the waitress who proceeded to say, "oh you ordered chicken that takes longer to cook." Okay, I didn't question it. 10 minutes later our original waiter comes over and says he never put the order in and that it should be ready shortly. At this point I'm pretty upset because it's been an hour and I was lied to. When he finally brought out the food he forgot the extra sauce I ordered, and was completely defensive about his actions when I just asked a question about why our order wasn't placed initially. Yes I went to Denny's....... After leaving Church BF and I wanted breakfast. Every place was crowded with a wait so we stopped here. And I'm glad we did. I had the Eggs over my hammy omelet. Funny name but good flavor. Hash browns were moist and tasty, omelet was too big to finish and filled with chopped ham. I would have put bigger slices of ham as the chopped pieces kept falling off the fork. BF had a specialty omelet and was equally as pleased. Our server was tired and not so pleasant. She mentioned something about being on a 12 hour shift and it really showed. Girl needed to go home and sleep. Usually I reserve Dennys for long drives and late night stops. I have been a regular here and most of the time take the bar stool because the service is slightly better there. For a change i got a table today and after 10 min's I had to go and talk to the manager to get somebody get me coffee and the struggle didn't end there. No one took our order for the next 15 mins, again manager had to be called, no refills on coffee....it was an absolute nightmare to get anyone to serve us. I even thought we were invisible. ... and can get away without anyone noticing us.... ...so stay with the bar stools if you can. The experience here is always fun and friendly, and the employees are all professional. You can tell when you walk into a restaurant if the employees are happy. Yah I'm giving this Denny's location a 5-star! This is the cleanest, friendliest, and best service Denny's I've ever been to! I've even sat in my booth inspecting the base boards to try to find a chink in the clean appearence--but couldn't find any nastiness. I love the fact the entire wait staff works as a team. I'm still shaking my head that I'm giving a Denny's a 5-star rating...but my experiences at this location has blown away some of the experiences I've had at 5-Star restaurants. I never expect much when I walk into a Denny's but the service at this Denny's was surprisingly amazing. My server, Maricela, was so attentive and kind- and gave great service given the fact that it was 2 in the morning, and my friends and I stayed for over two hours. She never failed to keep my coffee cup filled and brought out our food very quickly. Very positive energy. The host was also very sweet and kept checking up on us throughout the night. The food was good, better than other Denny's I've been to. Didn't make me feel queasy like the others. Came here after my roommate and I got left behind after seeing a show at Verizon. We WALKED here. After seeing a rock concert..... The place was dead and my feet hurt. I've been here for lunch many times before since this location is close to work. However last 1/19/18, a co worker and I had lunch here. We were first greeted by a very friendly staff member. He even remembered my co-worker. He took our 2 dine in orders & a to go order for another co-worker. A different server served us our lunch but my friend's order was wrong. We didn't complain since we were on a lunch break. As we were ready to check out a that second server gave us our bill & as he was handling this over, he knocked over a glass of water on my friend's plate. He said sorry but did not even offer to cleanup. Then as we were walking over to the cashier counter, this same server grabs our to go order & says he gave us the wrong order. Then as we were paying, we just happen to mention that the other dine in order we had was incorrect but this server didn't seem to care at all.
