Surprisingly this Dennys rocks! Best hash browns I have had in a longgg time! I am usually not one to review chains but felt I should do this one since I am sort of on vacation. Our waitress was friendly and quick with our food. I had the Moons over my Hammy which tastes great like any other Dennys except the hash browns were soooooo much better here. My husband had the Grand Slam. The only complaint was the eggs were not completely cooked like he wanted. Sausage and bacon were really good too. The staff is all friendly and the patrons are mellow and friendly. read more

I always have horrible service here. I have found shrimp shells left on my table and have waited over a hour for food.

July 25, 2015 12am... We waited more than 10 mins to be seated but both servers never sat us. One of the servers came to the front to ring up the couple who was leaving then he just left the counter without saying "I will be right with you". We realize they are understaffed but they could have at least said something. Poor customer service. The upper management must do something about this unless they do not care. I wonder how many customers leave every night because they are being ignored by the servers. We left and the other customers behind us left as well. read more

A Denny's is a Denny's. Usually. You go into one and it is the same as the last even if it was a thousand miles away. You would not go there for a special occasion but it serves not terrible food at a decent price. Talk about faint praise. One thing I had always expected of a Denny's, though, was a decent cup of coffee. Not brilliant, just decent. This restaurant does not even deliver that. You know how a bad coffee can be described as tasting like dish water? Well, I have never submitted myself to tasting that but the best I can say of the coffee here is that it did not taste of soap. STOP! Do not come here. The service is beyond bad and the silverware was dirty, as well as the drink glasses. It took 20 plus minutes to even take our orders. That was 5 minutes after the 15 minute wait for our drinks. The wait staff should be fired or rather needs to be, as well as the dishwasher. I don't know what is so hard about cooking some easy-over eggs but Denny's is consistent with most other breakfast spots in Jackson. The egg has been seared, just so to hold the runny whites. (Order eggs at your risk. ) Order comes. Familiar look. Punctured the whites which ran over the cold toast, sent it back. It comes back again.....overcooked. It appears to be a new order but its a washout. Yolks overcooked, whites have crusty brown ring. Toast still cold. Can't figure out why cooks can't get it right /reduce the heat. Tried poached eggs - usually overcooked. The waitress, to her credit offered to send it back again. That's why I'm giving this a two star . She was the best experience this time. Last couple of times me and my husband have been here, the food has been pretty good. Quick service and semi-fresh tasting food. Their mozzarella cheese sticks are awesome. Burgers are good. We where staying at the Best Western Amador Inn and we decided to go have dinner. The table was sticky, the seats where sticky, the menus where dirty and the floors where gross. When we got our salads there was rotten pieces in it. We where not happy with the service and we will not go back to that Denny's or the Best Western. read more

There were only two servers who actually knew how to serve on the night shift..Kristen and Gary-Michael........then the tweeker freaks they put on ruined nite for me. Also Tara was awesome, but this Denny's seems to chase the good servers away------ food is good tho. read more

Had to give this a one star, Slow service ordered a dinner item, Didn't come with a soup or salad like all the other Dennys offers, I even asked the waitress she said if I had wanted a soup or salad I needed to ask for one, Never heard of such a thing, My friend ordered the pot roast few min later waitress tells him there out of pot roast its only 3 in the afternoon and already out of pot roast gentlemen next to me ordered breakfast the waitress brings out his pancakes all burnt she was going to serve them to him he said NO, My dinner was cold,get my bill and the waitress charges me for the pot roast that they were out of One of the other waitress was sick coughing so much while trying to take an order, Really don't waste your time stopping here you will be highly disappointed read more

The food is so much better than it has been in the past!! But the service totally sucks!!! Today was the last straw, and we will not be back. We have let one of the assistant managers know that the service is not acceptable, waiting 8+ minutes for someone take a drink order or even come to your table is totally unacceptable - I myself was a waitress for over 20 years and know how to take care of customers and be very rewarded for my service!!!! We have been eating at this Denny's for a long time. It has gone way down hill over the last year. It seem to be getting run down. The downgrade in service is really noticeable. We have got "MiMi" a few times now. She is very nice but the consistently worst server I have ever had. Poor looking salads. No drink refills unless we ask. Way too long to get the check. Maybe she is overworked but it did not seem like it. We have given this place several chances but I am officially done with all Denny's. Too bad because I really used to like it. read more

I gotta say, keeping in mind that Denny's tends to be the recipient of more than a little universal ribbing, that THIS Denny's does not fit the typical mold. It's good! They care about the menu in the way the food is presented. The ambience is very laid back. Yeah right ...go to Denny's to chillax. Whaaaat? A regular stop when we're hungry and just want something to eat that we can all agree on. A far as Dennys goes this is a better one. Always fast and courteous service. Very attentive and the food is decent, it's Dennys remember. For me service is a big part of the experience and this Denny's is up there. read more

Should have read the reviews before eating here. Wait time at the counter was way too long and service was abysmal. Coffee was burnt. Had to ask two separate "servers" for a place setting after food had been delivered. Disappointing. read more
