We were there 9:30pm, hungry and cold. Five of us sat down comfortably. Dinning room may be 50% full. We ordered our food. Waited for 30 minutes, no food . Server came and apologized. 45 minutes, no food. Server came and apologized. One hour later, no food, manager came and apologized. We saw food brought to other tables and customers left. Manager Reilly came to apologized and said that because computer showed that our food already "out". It took one hour and 40 minutes to have for our food! I gave them one star just to draw their attention. But they have done a good job on "service recovery " and the manager Reilly gave us a good discount on the bill. (We gave a good tips too). The food was Danny's food. Nothing particularly good. They could have done better when the first 30 minutes to check what's the problem. As a person who visits this location often, the service has been really on and off. A week ago I went in for my late night Denny's and my party's server, Kevin, was the absolute best. He was quick, witty, and professional. The service was prompt and all of our needs were met. However Kevin is what constitutes any stars given to this establishment. Tonight I have been waiting one hour for someone to take our drink order. There are two servers on the floor and they are clearly arguing with each other. There is a lack of professionalism due to this private issue between the servers. Costumers are NOT a priority, and the very public argument and complaining privately to customers is out of control. Our drink orders were forgotten and our drinks have been incorrectly made (the tea tasts like water.) Other tables orders have been incorrect. These stars are for Kevin and nobody else. This is one of the dirtiest establishments I have been in in a very long time. There was food crumbs all over the filthy carpet and when I went into the restroom after dinner to wash my hands, the sink looked like someone had washed a car engine in it. They NEED to actually train their servers. They take forever to seat, greet, take orders, and almost never give a check unless you're a constant regular it seems. And when they screw up, they don't seem to care. After today's experience, don't think we'll ever be back. Horrible! It was Saturday before Easter. I understand that they were very busy (it was about 2 pm). But it's not my fault! We were waiting for the order to be taken for about 20 minutes. I ordered just a desert, as we were in a hurry. But we had to wait for half hour more to get our meal! The service was terrible. I would not recommend Denny's to anyone. I haven't been in for a while, but expected it to be okay, otherwise I would have went somewhere else! But we went to Denny's anyways. I am not going back to denny's now. They got my daughters order wrong, and had to remake it, but then brought me her order, which was still wrong. The wait was very long, just for all of our orders to have something wrong with them. Wrong kind of cheese on my food, and lack of one ingredient, and randomly added unwanted mushrooms on my boyfriends meal. We let them know as we left, and they didn't charge us for the meal. Truth is I wouldn't give it one star. Tonight my boyfriend and I went to the Denny's over by the Dollar Tree. We got there at 9:40ish. Was a 15 minute wait to order our drinks. 45 to order our food. (We ordered a Salad and a Skillet) We waited in till 11 o'clock to finally get up and leave. And pay for our drinks. (2 cokes and 2 coffees) When we went to the cashier to pay we saw our food sitting there. Super slow service even when restaurant had less than 4 people total. Ordered food and that came with burnt seasoned fries. Waitress goes - if u want I can get it less done. Second plate came in with seasoned fries. Had to call the waitress to show her this is how seasoned fries should look like. Accepted and got a replacement. Moreover the bread also came in burnt. Went in on a rainy Sunday around 11 a.m. and waited more than 15 minutes for a table despite 3 tables clean/ready to go. I had to finally ask the manager if anyone was ever going to seat people, and after about 5 minutes she sat one party, the couple ahead of me finally left, and I was finally seated after she took care of a party that had water leaking from the ceiling on their table. While waiting for the rest of my group to arrive, I was completely ignored, not even asked if I wanted a drink - in food service, that broke a HUGE rule - greet and get drink orders within 90 seconds of seating. While the service was LESS than satisfactory, once the food arrived it was pretty good (even though they messed up my order and I was left without food while everyone else enjoyed their meals). My waiter then left my food sitting in the window while chatting with other customers, and I finally had to ask him to get my food before it got cold. I RARELY gripe about a place, but a) I really like Denny's and b) I spent more than 20 years as a server. I don't recommend this Denny's if you're hungry and want decent service. It's probably great if you're really drunk at 2 a.m. The wait alone will give you time to sober up! read more

We think people should give this Denny's another chance. We go regularly for breakfast. You can't beat the $2-$4-$6-$8 menu. I like the French toast- really good, comes with 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns ( we always ask for the country potatoes , they are really tasty...soft on the inside and crispy on the outside :) Included are coffee and a good sized juice of your choice!...all for eight dollars...you can't beat that, and it's tasty. If you're lucky enough to get Chris as your server, you won't be disappointed. He's a gentleman, and always keeps our coffee cups filled :) Thanks Chris! read more

I have been to Denny's in Klamath Falls I think...4 times. Each time with husband and kids or I would have never stopped. I'm looking at the other reviews just shaking my head. I can't believe they actually got a 5 star! They take FOREVVVVVVVVVVVVER to serve you. How do you screw up toast? I ordered sourdough toast with no butter. I got one piece of white toast and one piece of sourdough. Well...I can't eat white bread. It's like they thought...oh serve it, she'll never know. You could tell by looking at it it was not sourdough. And both pieces were buttered. So much for toast. The two eggs were over medium and they were perfect. For that I was most thankful. I realize sometimes they are busy, it's Dennys... but holy cow...totally unacceptable. The 2nd time there was so busy we sat at the counter. No biggie. I understand. Not one person even greeted us. We sat and sat and sat and sat and 30 minutes later our orders were taken. And my husband goes there all the time. They know him. Order in..how long can the $4 breakfasts take? Now the kicker..... I hear..."just the toast? are you kidding? Stick it in the microwave." And that's exactly what they did. I said out loud...."Did he just stick my food in the microwave? Did he really do that?" 45 minutes later and a huge apology, we get our orders. Mine...2 eggs, 2 pieces of NON BUTTERED toast that were buttered. So...she took back the toast and there I sat with eggs on my plate. Another 20 minutes later, they were done eating and there I sat waiting on toast. I did, however, have an opportunity to look closely around the serving area. It was nasty. Grease, oil, butter on the counter top, dropping spoons and knives with food on them on the counter, picking them up and using a DRY cloth to wipe it up. Like that got the germs up. It was gross. On a side note, the wait staff is very nice. I ONLY go there when I am with the husband and kids. However, I think I'm done eating there. I will stick with water and lemon...can that be screwed up? Well if I could rate it a zero I would. I have eaten at a lot of Denny's as I travel a lot. This is the worst Denny's I have ever been in and tried to eat at. I waited to be seated for an excessive time as it was not busy. I almost walked out as the place looked really dirty. But gave it a shot. Once seated took as long again to place my order. Simple breakfast eggs over easy nothing to hard. While waiting the flies were really bad inside plus lots of tables not cleaned off plus I noticed I was filthy behind the counter and wayer was leaking and running across floor behind counter. Would be a safety hazard where I work. Food came and I could not believe how bad it was the eggs were fried hard as a rock as well as everything else was burnt past wanting to eat it I tried but left most of it. The waiter did come by and ask aboutmy food I said it was terrible and not the way I ordered it. He seemed not to really care. I went to counter to pay and again I was asked how was everything. This time it was a gal and I told her this was the worst food and service I have had that I can remember. She did say sorry and she would talk to cook plus she tore my meal ticket up. I said even yhouhh she was nice and did yhat I would never ever eat there again and would tell everyone I work with and know not to go there. We went for a breakfast the morning after Christmas. My food was okay, but my husband was not happy with his. All he wanted was a normal breakfast with real sausage patties and got a sausage instead. This is a one star review only because 0 is not an option. We ate here a few weeks ago at about 10:30 in the morning during the week. There were a whole 2 other tables seated and our service was SO slow. Food was decent, but getting the food took multiple explanations and a LONG wait - there was nothing special, straight from the menu. So tonight, it's like the only place open at 11pm. We decide to take our chances. When we had to wait 5 mins just to be seated I should have known it would be more of the same. There were roughly 6 tables seated at this time, 3 of which already had food. Once seated, we sat there for a good 15-20 mins with no water, no waitress to offer to order drinks much less food. Once we decide to leave, I see the lady who seated us digging in a vehicle. I'm pretty sure she was smoking, but can't e 100%. I mean, I know People need breaks at work, but aren't waiters supposed to help each other out, cover each other's tables? There is absolutely NO reason for customers to sit at a table for 20 mins with absolutely nothing when a restaurant is less than half full. This place is poorly managed and needs to either get it together or shut down. The only reason this place has customers is Bc it's the only place open 24 hours. read more

I had no appetite to eat my food I've never been more embarrassed in front of a stranger or embarrassed in front of my kids buy another human being in such way I will never eat at Denny's ever again customer service was crappy oh and guess what we still pay for a whole entire meal cuz all the manager on duty could do was say oh I'm so sorry guys I'm so sorry guys sorry doesn't cut it and this day in age when people come to enjoy something and experience great customer service and a great customer connection this Denny's in fact does not have it. read more

Went there last night, got mozzarella sticks and it came with no marinara(when I know it should) and was told I would have to pay extra. That was whatever. What irked me was the fact that they took my dirty glass, dumped it out and immediately gave it to another customer with my lipstick stains still on it. Gross. read more
