If I could give less stars I would. This is seriously the worst Denny's ever. The server said his manager had left him there alone, so I was prepared to wait awhile. No big deal. BUT I've never had a server try and take an order with his head phones on full blast. (Richard- try turning your crappy music off when interacting with customers) Then he complained about having hearing issues and we needed to speak up?! WTF? The burger I ordered didn't even resemble a patty. Came in 4 chunks that were pressed so hard they were super thin and crusty on the edges. Also forgot the cheese and grilled onions it was supposed to come with. After waiting well over an hour for food, I wasn't about to stick around for them to fix it. Our food was correct, yummy and fast. What constitutes five stars is Alicia. She came over to our table and entertained my three year old who was fussing pretty badly. I must say that I'm really impressed with my Christmas Dinner . I was alone this year but feeling good and thought I'd try Door Dash . Denny's was the only place delivering due to it being Christmas . I went with the new Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings. Even got the peach crisp with ice cream . Everything was as good as home cooking . Who knew. And door dash was so efficient. I'm addicted . Wish I could give a lower rating. They brought me my breakfast all one 1 plate. Our waitress had some of the worse customer service skills I have ever seen. Drinks were not refilled, had to ask twice for the hot sauce, and the waitress didn't even ask if we needed a to box. Then she told us to hand her our plates, I turned and asked my wife if we should clean the table for her too. Went to Denny's tonight because it was the only place open after 10 pm. I was not optimistic after going here a year ago and seeing the ceiling falling down. Kevin, our server was amazing. He appeared to be the only one serving tables and the restaurant was quite packed. The food did take forever to arrive to our table and one of our guests didn't get her food until everyone else was already done eating. It was clear that there was only 1 chef and one server. The manager appeared to be standing around doing nothing until he finally realized his staff needed help and began assisting. The food was delicious and it was clear they have been doing some remodeling because the ceiling was no longer falling down. All in all it was not a terrible experience but they definitely have work to do. read more

And now the "opportunities for improvement" - 1) cleanliness, many tables needed to be cleared when we arrived 2) attention to guests upon arrival, we waited a couple minutes to be seated, others after us left before being seated 3) attention to guests once seated - we waited ten minutes before a server noticed that the manager had seated us in a corner, and one table of guests in the middle of the room left after tiring of the wait for their orders to be taken 4) attention to guests when their assigned server goes on 30 minute meal break - Chynna was very nice to mention that she was going on her "30 minute" & that the other two servers would be happy to help us, but they didn't come by to check even once. I walked up to the register to flag down someone for dessert. 15 minutes later, I caught that server's eye and she asked if anyone had brought my dessert. Worst Denny's experience ever. They called the dish cowboy BBQ Steak. All it was, was a thin greasy hamburger patty. Which came with Bell peppers, onions, and BBQ sauce. I ordered it with no onions. They sent it with onions So they took it back and since they are not smart enough to separate bell peppers and onions I also had to have no bell peppers. The 2nd one came now with mushrooms on top which was not listed on the menu. And there was no BBQ sauce on it or on the side. The meat was very greasy and had no taste. One of the sides was cold when i got it. Also their employees does not follow the smoking laws, coming from a exit near the kitchen was cigarette smoke which highly set off my asthma, now I am having trouble breathing. And the Oregon Law is 10 feet away from all entrances and exits, yet it traveled from the kitchen to my table which was about 15 feet from the kitchen area. So I am not going back. read more

The food is good, fast and fairly cheap. At some point this location started getting new waitresses. This is both good and bad. One of the waitresses continues to whine. She complains about not liking Klamath Falls, move away! Complains about picky customers, I asked for more coffee, I didn't really see that as a whine worthy offense! A side from dirty, Slow/worst service I have ever experienced. For a second we thought we were on a hidden camera show. 1 hour to get our food and all 4 of us received incorrect orders, but we were so hungry we just ate what we got. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because our server who came in to replace our previous server, was apologetic. The manager didn't even show face. We saw a couple get up and refill their own drinks because the servers completely forgot about them. I am so over trying to give this Denny's location the benifit of the doubt. The service is ALWAYS terrible. No one ever comes back to ask how everything is or if we need anything else, we never get refills on our drinks, we always have to ask for things that are supposed to come with our meals like sour cream with the nachos or the dressing for a salad. We can't even get our check without damn near begging for it. The food never tastes fresh and is cold by the time we can eat it since it comes out barely warm and we have to wait for the server to bring the missing items. We are always here forever...regardless of how busy they are...and are never satisified with anything we've tried. The restaurant is filthy and full of flies...I'm sure due to the disgusting smell and the back door being propped open. If the staff spent time cleaning the restaurant instead of hanging out it wouldn't so gross and smell so bad. In a restaurant that is opened 24/7 I'm sure there is plenty of "downtime" to clean. Actually, I know there is since instead of checking on me and my dining guest...they are always sitting there chatting. We came in after a long late night drive at about 6 am today. Not too many customers but I've worked at a Denny's with that early of a shift ONCE and know how overwhelming it is that early in the morning to serve even a handful of customers. Our waiter did his best to bring us everything we needed and was very kind. We were tired but gave him all our patience left we didn't have for each other. 3/4s of our party liked their meal, I didn't like how the cook cooked our meals so I sent back my food after a bite and it got taken off my bill so we really appreciated that was easily accomplished. I decided not to ask for a replacement because I was sure I wasn't going to like anything else the cook would make with the skills I saw in others meals similar to my rejected plate. My smoothie was late but I took that home. I took off the one star because the cooking was not to my liking at all, but the waiter was doing his best and kind to us so that was the highlight of choosing this Denny's for us. Overall, I had a nice visit to this Denny's, but the food was satisfying to only one in our party and adequate enough to eat some to two others. There have been times that I have eaten here before that the service was not very good. In fact it was downright rude on several occasions. Tonight was different. I travel frequently for my job and am a patron at a lot of 24 hour eateries. The gentleman that was waiting tonight was awesome-- Reilly was his name, I believe. Going into this Denny's late at night isn't very irregular for me. So a friend and I decided to go to Denny's at 1:00 we ordered the chicken fried steak skillet 8.00$ each. We also order boneless wings as a starter. It is now 1:30. We've eaten our wrongly made and falsely advertised meals. Asked for a simple request and couldn't even do that. No green peppers and onions and they couldn't do that. But we are trying to eat our dinner and still without wings. No sight. Other orders after us and no wings. I came in just after 5:30 we were greeted seated and served by a polite gentleman named Andy!!! everything about him said professional. prompt drinks right to our table very knowledgeable of the menu and helped us find the right dinner choice we were looking for. My salad was made and sitting at least 15 mins before my husbands food came out. So, the chicken breast was cold. Hubby had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and it came with only 2 very thinly cut pieces of ham. Looked like a kids portion...but charged a high price. Service was very slow. I expect more!
