I ordered on the Dennys app today. I ordered a French toast plate and a pancake plate. I specified 4 syrups on the dennys app. They only gave me 1 butter and 1 syrup. This is horrible service. How can a reputible restaurant like Dennys give you only 1 butter and 1 syrup when you order a French toast plate and a pancake plate. I even tipped them in the app. Shame on you Dennys. read more

So, I haven't been to this place in years. But since it was my birthday, I wanted that free meal on your birthday thing. Well, come to find out. I needed to sign up for some Denny's rewards program. Not a big deal but my server ISEL helped me sign up and I got a bunch of first timer rewards. Food was definitely above average. Service was also above average. My girlfriend and I were starving and were looking for somewhere to eat that would be quick seating. All the other breakfast places were really packed due to it being a Sunday, but we decided to try Denny's and were surprised to be seated within three minutes of walking in the door. We had a very great server, her name was Lupe. She was very sweet and friendly. She was saying how my girlfriends choice was a good one and explained the dish and what it comes with specifically to her. The food came out within like maybe 7 minutes of ordering and it all was very delicious. Overall Lupe was a great server and she was very attentive to all her tables constantly checking in on each one and serving them in a timely manner. Not all Denny's restaurants cook my favorite breakfast meal the Fit Slam, I live in Downey CA and drive all the way to La Mirada to this specific restaurant to get my favorite breakfast, because not al Denny's cook their eggs or serve their fruit the same. But today, I decided to try the Santa Fe Skillet , it was absolutely delicious as well, but my favorite will continue to be the Fit Slam, Our waitress Guadalupe (Lupe) gave us an excellent customer service and so did the manager and pretty much it seems like all staff are super friendly and attentive: love this place is very clean, to me bathrooms say a-lot, spacious. the atmosphere is soothing and the food here delicious. read more

I called in by phone for pick up. The employee on the phone told me food would be ready in 15. I get there and food was not ready at all. I dealt with a manager named MIRIAM, T who had nothing but a straight horrible attitude from the very beginning. She said she would check on the status of my food. She left for 20 minutes and never came back. I noticed she prepared approx 5 other to go meals before she got to mine. I went to see where she was at and asked her how much longer? Her reply was you can just leave it if you don't want to wait. Now it's been 45 minutes since I called in my order. At 45 minutes, she finally had my order. At no time did she offer an apology, a discount or simply a better attitude. She was a complete horrible disgruntled person with a major attitude. What she needs to do is work somewhere where she doesn't deal with people since she's got no people or communication skills! Someone needs to teach her how to deal with people or fire her! So dissapointed and I've been going there for at least 15 years. read more

Cam in for a quick bite but turned out it took a long time to take out service and for the meal to come out. This places use a robot to serve your food. So interaction with the waitress is limited and service is not very good anyway. But then what can you expect from Denny's. The streak was hard even though we ordered med rare and chicken was very salty. Onion rings were soggy but at least the eggs and rice was good. Don't know about the rest of you but if there is very limited interaction with waitress do you actually leave 18%+ tip? read more
