Brandy and Megan are the worst. They are too busy giving away free food to people they know or family. Abd when a paying customer is here, like me, they don't check on me, nor refill my beverage. They question my age. If I ask for a condiment, they not only forget or don't bring it, but if ... if they do, it's at the end of my meal. Then if I ask fir a to-go for the remainder of my meal, they question me or don't bring it. This morning I was yelled at as I walked to the table. Then she continued to raise her voice at me, instead of coming over to speak in a respectful manner. Once she saw I was ignoring her then she came over and continued to yell, so I asked her not to, she was dismissive. My order was not correct but she disappeared, then only came back long enough to give me my ticket and she disappeared again. Then I went looking for her to get a to-go for my food and no one was at the front. Finally, she reappears and I leave. Very unprofessional and bad service. I would like to say this was my first time here.... Very disappointed. The service was horrible, the waitress ( Meghan) did not greet us with her name, no manners just stared off with " to drink" right as we sat down . I asked her to give my friend and I a second too look over the menu, she rolled her eyes and said ok with a very strong attitude. We finally ordered, Meghan took our order very rudely, as we were waiting, her and her coworkers were speaking very loudly and disrespectfully about other workers making my friend an I uncomfortable, as we got our food she asked us if we needed anything, I am not a high maintenanced person so I thought everything was fine, I grabbed the ketchup bottle that was on my table and it was empty and the waitress did not stop by after 10 min upon receiving my food so I grabbed one off another table and it was empty aswell, after only being 15 min in from getting our food she came back and set the receipt on the table, and that was the last time she came to check on us, we got up to go "pay" instead because we couldn't find our waitress to get us a box to go, I left no tip because of how increadibly horrible the service was the food was great. If I could I would not give this place any stars. The environment within itself was very off putting My friend and I are young , and I myself was a waitress at one point so I completely understand the " their young so I just know their not going tip", I'm a very good tipper but for the people that have met the criteria of knowing how to be a waitress and offer good service. read more

Used to be 5 stars. They discontinued the value menu, raised prices, have a number of shortages (milkshakes and smoothies), and switched to the worst horse-puckey biscuits. They are small and the opposite of fluffy. I still love the decor of this location and they had good fast service this time. They now have a nice all you can eat special of pancakes, scrambled eggs, and hash browns which is very new for them. If you avoid the biscuits I love the food. read more

We ate here late this past Saturday night. Our waiter was awesome, he was very accommodating and attentive. The manager was very friendly as well. Our food was good, nothing spectacular, but we CANNOT get past whatever that raw sewage smell is right when you walk through the door. We almost left because of the foul odor. Fans blowing everywhere and the place could use a good scrub! This smell has actually been here for a few years, we were hoping it was fixed, but it wasn't. We will go to another location next time. I've said before that I believe that chain restaurants absolutely deliver value to the dining scene. There are times, especially when traveling, that a familiar, consistent meal is the best. This Denny's delivered this experience very well. Momma Bear, Meha and I decided for an early morning breakfast, and they chose this restaurant. The location is adorable - it's a replica of a 1940s-1950s diner, and it's well done in that style. We were told to 'just pick a place' so we chose a booth. Our server came quickly with sets and water, and our drink orders were produced quickly. I ordered the pancakes with bacon, crispy, Momma Bear got eggs over easy with fruit, and Meha got an egg white scramble with vegetables 'skillet'. The food was again delivered with reasonable speed and was huge. Meha's plate had a crazy high pile of mushrooms, peppers, onions, and they were done nicely. Momma Bear's dish came accidentally with home fries, a bowl of fruit was quickly provided. My pancakes were fluffy and light, absorbed the butter & syrup nicely and didn't fall apart once they were 'dressed'. Yay! Bacon was c r i s p y and delicious. Overall, it was a pleasant breakfast. Food was solidly executed, service was efficient and friendly, and it was a comfortable space. I'd go there again. read more

The employee blatantly lied to me about the big problem when I asked . He said they had just sprayed and that this shouldn't have happened and included mentioning that there were no bugs like this I. Upon cashing out the waiter said he would give me a discount for the food which was no problem until I noticed a cockroach on the card reader, no this was a baby cockroach. I decided to have Denny because it's right down the street and I don't want to wait forever for driver to deliver cold food. When the driver got there the food wasn't prepared but no biggie just meant it was coming fresh. I got the food and it's still a little warm the fries where less warm the the burger. I shoulda went to the other location on Spencer, but with the reviews and a friend's suggestion, I thought this place would be great to celebrate my solo birthday dinner. I should've known better when the place was totally empty at 8pm on a Monday. The server was nice enough, yet when I told her to substitute the grilled onions in the place of the bacon, she STILL charged me. I had flipped flopped between the avocado and grilled onions and chose the onions - and she charged me for the avocado too... the 2 stars are for the delicious fries and the burger was REALLY good. BUT when I asked for my birthday dessert to go (Dennys sent me an email for a free dessert or slam) she gave me the smallest scoop she had in the kitchen (see pic) and said that's all they served - I explained I've been eating Denny's apple crisp for over 10 years and THAT definitely wasn't $3.79 worth of pie. I gave her 3 times to fix it and she refused. So I'm leaving this review for her TIP - and a reminder NOT to return. read more

The staff is really friendly, the downfall is the food. We ordered the grand slam. Eggs were supposed to be over medium and they were basically like hard boiled egg.... please see the picture attached. We had to ask for extra silverware because the fork was dirty. This dennys has constant problems, from rotting salad and fruit, to the water dripping from the ceiling straight into your food. The restraunt itself smells moldy with fans blowing it around, and an old dirty store-bought de-humidifier just sitting in the dining area. Half the salt shakers are don't work due to water clumping it up. It is not a pleasure to eat there. Aside from the lack of maintenance, the staff seems nice. Went here for breakfast on the way to an event. Found a ant on the table and then found a roach on the chair. I told the waitress and she told the manager and he came over looking for the Roach which was uncalled for. We did not get a sorry but only it's probably from the rain. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. The management here has completely lost control. Since I've been here (about an hour) I've seen a total of 4 tables walk out. The manager is currently eating oranges at the counter while the 500 pound door hostess is sitting at the bar propped up by a giant "wet floor" cone. One waitress is running around serving, greeting, and doing an awesome job. But she is alone in that. The other waitress is walking around telling customers what a mess this place is and how much she "is done" with it. At one point this lady slammed a customers card down on the counter and told the group of workers around the cash register she wasn't doing it. We love this Classic Denny's Diner! Great service, the food was good and the atmosphere was totally like a 1950-60's diner. We can't wait for my mother-in-law to visit us again because she loves anything that reflects the era in which she grew up. I had the Ultimate Omelette, hubby had the Loaded Bacon, Steak, Potato Skillet and our daughter had the Prime Rib Cobb Salad. Denny's prices are always affordable but this diner makes it even more fun, plus they have The Claw game in the lobby. Restroom's were fine and fit the theme. read more

First of all, good luck finding this place! The outside is dimly lit, and the Denny's logo sign is completely shut off. It appears it has been this way for a very long time. Inside, well, you probably know what a Denny's looks like if you've ever been to one. The waiter seemed to have difficulty with requests for things like "straws" and "sugar" for our food. When it finally arrived, it tasted fine, but I was seriously underwhelmed by the overall vibe of this restaurant. Another table and I spotted a gigantic cockroach crawling out from the table right next to us. I quickly alerted the staff, asking them to please do something. A WHOLE GROUP of them looked at me, and either walked off back towards the kitchen, or turned around and ignored me completely!!
