This isn't the Texas Roadhouse I usually visit, but I've been here a few times both to eat and also picking up a large take out order for people working at my church. The times that I've been here, you know what to expect. It's kind of the same at every Texas Roadhouse. The inside has the classic Roadhouse decor and the food is pretty much the same across the board as well. The waitstaff has been friendly and helpful. The two girls that brought out my take out order were kind and cheery. They even double checked that I had plasticware for the 10+ meals and salads I was picking up that day. I can't say there's any reason to visit this location over other locations, but if you're in the area and you want Texas Roadhouse, you can't go wrong with this one. Tonight was a pick up and eat at home kinda night. The food, although being take out was extremely hot and delicious. I ordered a full rack of ribs, taters and a house salad with Italian dressing. I didn't ask, but they gave me bread, that death by cinnamon butter and silverware. The ambiance, my glorious room was delightful and enjoyed the company of my two beagles and they sat and drooled over the bones. Texas Roadhouse is always a good, safe choice. Of course you get hot, fresh rolls with cinnamon butter (I actually get regular lol) and they are always on point. Pro-tip: if you like garlic butter you can ask for that as well for your bread. It is the butter thy use on the grilled shrimp. I had the 6oz sirloin with a loaded sweet potato and it was great! The marshmallows on the potato were toasted perfectly. We got on the waitlist while driving from our hotel and when we got there we maybe waited 5 minutes and it was full. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, she was friendly, polite, and attentive with drink refills throughout our meal. I'm so bummed I didn't catch her name. The highlight for me was the warm bread with cinnamon butter--it was incredibly delicious, and I could've happily eaten more of it. I ordered the steak kabobs with added shrimp, but the beef was a bit too chewy for my taste. My local friends raved about the ribs and steak, so I think it just comes down to me not being much of a meat eater. The parking lot was so full! We ended up having to park someplace else, so when we walked inside we were anticipating a wait, but they sat us within 5 minutes! Probably helped we were just a party of 2, but I'm glad that even though it was crowded service was sick. I came because I had a birthday coupon and was desperately craving the cactus onion. Absolutely delicious ! Their rolls are top tier with their butter. I ordered the ft worth ribeye and omg. That was a great steak. 10/10 would order again. Prime rib was ok. I will say though all the sides for me were terrible. I didn't like the Mac and cheese, didn't like the green beans, the mushrooms, none of the sides... it was very sad and that's the reason I couldn't give it 5 stars. Today was my first time ordering a family dinner after seeing it on TikTok. I chose the chicken tenders which come with two dipping sauces, but the sauces were missing. I upgraded the potatoes to include sour cream, cheese, and bacon. Sour cream was missing, and the other items were minimal. The previous reviews said you got a container of the cinnamon butter. This is an update, we went back today and this time it was much better. I had the chicken fried steak, it was okay 7/10. My sides were a bowl of chili with extra onions, very good. I would recommend servings a bow with more than 4 crackers. The steak fries were good, but way too salty. I should have had the gravy in the side, it was too salty. My wife had a burger, it was good, 7/10 meat was way too salty. My son had the kids meal sliders, he liked them. My daughter had the chicken nugget things, they were good (real chicken). We were sat next to some very annoying tables, one has toddlers, they made a lot of noice, the other table had a lot of kids, they too made a lot of ruckus. Not the restaurants fault. Marcus our waiter and the rolls were the highlight of the experience. He was really nice and communicated well. Been coming here a long time, came lastnight and did not appreciate the dead cockroach baked with my breadrolls. I was horrified but was still kind and professional with the manager, Jose, about it and he couldn't have cared less. His only response, "are you sure it didn't fall from the ceiling?". Then we went to the new one in Texas city and the service was terrible and the manager was less than professional in dealing with our complaint. Tonight 1/15/26, we tried the El Dorado location again and the service was good, but had to speak with the manager because of parking lot damages to our car and she was less then professional. She did not give a s#%t about it and would not share the parking lot videos. Crazy how they are supportive of veterans and yet I've been told 3 times that we keep getting moved to be sections. I don't think they have a dedicated "to-go staff" because on average i have to wait 15 minutes for a to go order, even when i arrive after the "you order is ready text." If you schedule your order for 8:30 guaranteed it won't come out until 8:45. It's a pain because you'll have to go home & heat your food in the oven for 45 minutes to get it hot, so take that extra 15 minutes carry out time & 45 minutes to heat the food up to an acceptable temperature into account when ordering. When we first walked in, the restaurant was clean and, at the time, was not very busy. The waitress was nice and very helpful when placing our order. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with steak fries and a loaded potato. I also got a frozen margarita. My chicken tasted great. My loaded potato was better than I thought it would be. My steak fries were very good. My wife ordered the ribeye steak with mashed potato and a Caesar salad. My stepdaughter ordered the salmon with corn and a Caesar salad. They both enjoyed their meal. I've become a huge fan of Texas Roadhouse. It's sometimes difficult to maintain a fitness centric healthy diet while eating out. Too many restaurants deep fry and use butter, sugar, and cheese to get folks in the door. I have found it's very possible to "eat clean," at the Texas Roadhouse and have been able to effectively make that happen with the 6-8oz Sirlion, which is always seasoned to perfection, along with 2 plain baked potatoes. This past Saturday (dec.13,2025) we decided to retreat to the wonderful taste of hot rolls. Well, this time we were greeted with an unexpected vistor.....it appeared human hair baked inside the rolls. My wife bit into one of the rolls and discovered human blonde hair. We requested for the manager to share the event along with corrections. The manager approached us very professional and offered more rolls. He apologized and offered more rolls. We passed on the rolls. I dont think we will be dining out at Texas Roadhouse anymore. It was very disappointing to discovery human hair in your food. Discussing! There's always something going wrong at this location. This time, they tried seating us at a small table even though there were 5 of us and we could barely fit. I asked if they could move us to a nearby bench that was getting cleaned and they said no. I asked if we could sit at another nearby bench that was clean and she went to ask the manager but again the answer was no. It made zero sense. Then she said if we wanted a bench we would have to go back in the queue and wait another 20 minutes which is crazy. I honestly feel the manager was being racist. Then we ordered salads, they never came out. They came out the same time the steak did. Now we had to rush to eat our salads so our steaks wouldn't be cold. The last time we came to this restaurant, our steaks were undercooked and we had cut into it so they took the steaks we had cut into to throw them back on the grill. That to me is unsanitary, we touched the steak and now they're putting it on a grill where they cook other people's food after we had already touched our food. I'm actually surprised at how packed the restaurant was. Came in to celebrate my nephew's birthday. We ordered loaded potato skins, which were delicious. The dinner/lunch rolls they brought out were fresh, hot, and with a slab of cinnamon butter, it was like eating a cinnamon roll. I had the house salad with Italian dressing, filled me 1/2 up. He ordered the mini burgers from the kids menu. The strawberry lemonade was good. A little too sweet for me. I came here with my family for Mother's Day, so it was so very busy, but they seated us fairly quick. Our server was really attentive and kind to not only us, but her tables! I haven't been to Texas Roadhouse in almost a decade and my first impression last time was this place is freaking amazing! My returning reaction is literally the same. I ate to what my little body can handle, and I ate so much freaking bread and meat, I'm so glad I was wearing my stretchy pants... The ambiance was rowdy, but it's Mother's Day! What do you expect? Despite the business, the staff was hustling and doing their best! I could see the stress on their faces, but they put on their smiles and got through! I'm definitely visiting this location more often with my friends for celebration as they're also major meat eaters. The bread and cinnamon butter will always be a staple and if you're into bread, it's always the best to ask for some bread and butter to go.
