The salmon was cooked nicely and the whiskey sauce was tasty and light without being overly sweet. I think I would've preferred garlic mash potatoes, but ate a bit of the cubed ones to note they were fine. The steamed broccoli was done perfectly and NOT drowning in butter, which I greatly appreciated. Hubs was peckish, not as hungry as me and asked if he could get the kid's menu cheeseburger and fries for an upcharge. Nichelle, our friendly server, said, 'No problem, it's understood it's a smaller portion adults also like.' Great! It states that it comes with a free soda as part of the kid's menu, but Hubs had already ordered coffee, and I don't drink soda, so that was itemized along with the coffee charge, but we didn't mind because Hubs was getting exactly what he was craving.
