Tonight my fiancé and I decided to go to Denny's around 2:00am. The food was great and the service was awesome. Working the grave yard shift is already hard enough so we appreciated the excellent customer service. Then a booth table about 5 spaces down from us started cursing and belittling the server that was so excellent to us so I imagine he gave these customers the same par of service. It was clear these gentlemen had been heavily drinking by the amount of "F" bombs in their conversation. I just wanted to take a moment to recognize our server MIGUEL GOMEZ for handling the situation very professionally. It made my skin crawl that someone could be so rude. I hope if you're the guys that sat at that booth and are thinking of writing a review or complaining about this poor gentlemen. That you realize it was you who was in the wrong and there was no excuse for that behavior. I have given this Denny's 5 stars not because of the food but because Miguel deserves some recognition for the way he handled the situation and the excellent service he continued to provide after that episode. read more

A few years ago I would have given this restaurant a 5 star review. Not now though. Met some friends there Sunday night June 17, 2018. Our waiter, some young guy, was not very fluent in English and the orders had to be repeated and repeated. When asked if the ice tea was fresh, he said yes... it was anything but. Switched to a diet soda. It took 3 times back to the table just to get a water for my son. End of the meal, a shake was ordered. After getting more than 1/2 way done with the shake a Splenda sweetener wrapper was found stuck to the inside of the shake tin. When we alerted them of this, no replacement was given, i don't believe a discount was given. All the waited did was take the cup and pour what was left into a new tin. I'm glad my son and I only had a soda and water. My friends ended up puking up their meals over night. It had been a while since I'd been in to this Denny's. We used to frequent this location a lot. They have really gone downhill!! We used to know almost every worker there, we were in so much. Not a familiar face in the house. I do not recommend eating at this establishment. Denny's food is....Denny's food. People going to Denny's should not expect World Class food fit for the slow food movement. However, the service at this Denny's is fantastic and makes it my favorite local place to eat when all else fails. Seriously. The staff is very nice, prompt and helpful. I have never had a poor experience here when it comes to service here. Sure, I could make better food at home but I don't always want to make food at the times Denny's will make it for me. Totally recommended if you just want to eat some food and have people be nice to you at midnight any night of the week. read more

Good food, quick service, great coffee, low prices. You really have to try the maple & bacon ice cream sundae or the banana's foster waffles! Dinner menu is pretty good - the meatloaf is like mom used to make (and my mom could cook pretty well!). My friends and I ate here every Friday eve for several weeks, definitely worth coming here. read more

Great location, wonderful service and staff - until today; I placed a take out order and the server got it all wrong. I called the restaurant when I got home, (instead of a breakfast with all bacon, there was no bacon at all); called the "manager" who was unapologetic and said I should drive back to get the correct order. When I got there, he threw four slices of bacon in a crumpled up sack and almost charged me for it. According to the receipt, his name is Erik C. If you decide to go to this location, just look for the only overweight guy in a neck tie behind the counter - you can't miss him. Great place for a quick bite to eat. I always get the lumberjack, the eggs taste good and so does the bacon, the only thing I don't like is once you get your check you never see your server again. I always have to walk up to someone to get a coffee to go. I told the manager once and he smiled at me and said nothing. I guess that was his who gives a crud smile. read more

Great food!!!! The new skillets are hot, tasty and sizzle with a variety of meat, vegetables, potatoes, and some with eggs (cooked any style). Soooo good, nice portions! It's rare to find a place with quick and friendly service, not to mention delicious food! This Denny's has all of that. It was a Friday morning and it was already busy but we were seated automatically and our server brought our drinks out right away. Since we already knew what we wanted (custom sampler and a ham and cheese omelette) we ordered as soon as the drinks arrived. My husband had not even taken his first sip of his very warm coffee when our food arrived. It was less than ten minutes! Hashbrowns were cooked very well and not burnt like other places. Our server was always there to check up on us. Whenever I'm back in OC in that area, I'll definitely have breakfast there. read more

I personally prefer the Denny's on Alicia pkwy. Went to this one a couple nights ago with two friends. We sat at a booth and waited 25 minutes before our server ever came anywhere near our table. Three other groups that were seated after us already had their food by the time we had received a menu (we had to ask a bus boy for menus because he was the only employee to come near us). Then once we finally get our food I notice the BLT with avocado I ordered had no bacon. Waited ten more minutes until the server finally came back. He took it back and had them fix it. As I'm eating the sandwich I notice there's hairs in it. So I instantly stopped eating. Then what was suspicious to me was that the server came back and specifically asked if I enjoyed my sandwich. Never once acknowledged the rest of the table. Usually when you go out the server asks everyone how their food was. Not one specific person. I don't know if that was me being paranoid but it just didn't sit right with me. I usually try to avoid this Denny's because the food isn't made as well and the service kinda sucks. After that incident though there's no way I'm coming back to this Denny's. read more

What a great place! We were greeted just inside the door with a friendly smile and welcome, and seated immediately. The waiter came right over, was friendly and courteous, and took our drink orders right away. When the waiter came back, we placed our food orders, and they were served in what felt like 5 minutes, like they knew what we were going to order. The food was hot and fresh tasting. The waiter stopped by a few times during our meal, to see if we needed our drinks refreshed and if everything was OK with the food. After our meal the waiter left the check, and we didn't have to wait. The other workers at the restaurant always looked busy, and there was no one loafing around, or not paying attention to the other customers. read more

I go here every now and then ever since they opened this branch a few years ago. It's just your typical diner open 24/7. There are thousands of Dennys all over the country, but it's relative location close to home, makes it convenient. My friend and I go to Denny's every now and again late night and this location is by far the best one. Miguel S is usually our waiter and he is very attentive and friendly. My iced tea is never empty! The food is good , but the reason I keep going back is the great service from Miguel! read more

I met a friend here yesterday before work just to grab a bite before starting my shift. Our server was very pleasant and attentive hence the 2 stars if it wasn't for her it would be a one star. We had to listen to another server/ "bus boy" say deragotory comments to the other female servers and about other patrons in Spanish as if people cannot hear him or understand him well ...I could.. I tried to brush it off and enjoy my morning we finished up and left a tip, a fairly large tip ($10 on a $20 check).. well this same server (the rude one) watched us till we got up and immediately rushed our table to "clean" and pocketed the $10 .. I watched him walk back to the kitchen place the plates down and shove the money in his pocket! I was in total shock! I don't know how they handle the tips but I'm sure that not it. Be careful when tipping as your server my think you didn't! Stealing in front customers! Beware the foul language from this guy! read more
